Both the level of service and particularly workmanship have been stunning. Steve worked on an 1860s turbotierre for me and the result was amazing. His communication throughout was of an equally impeccable level

I needed my saucepans re lined for a special occasion. Steve was so helpful from the outset , turning the job around very quickly for me . An extremely straight forward hassle free process from start to finish and the results are excellent . I’m a very satisfied customer.

I really wasn't sure if our copper frying pan, blackened through its thirty years of use, could be re-tinned. After Steve's offer to look at an emailed photo of it in its shameful condition, he reassured me it was indeed capable of restoration and he was true to his word. Our pan is as absolutely new: gleaming soft coppery pink on the outside, shiny with new tin on the inside and its brass handles a soft gold. I thoroughly recommend!

Belatedly (after 6wks) I’m saying a grateful thank you for your skills in making my copper pieces usable again and for the great service - timely updates regarding delivery, and the pieces well packed and so safely received.

Beautiful work on tinning old copper saucepans. They now look absolutely gorgeous.

Excellent. I sent my 35 year old pans and lids which are used daily and therefore were showing all the signs of age with the odd dented lid etc. They have been returned looking brand new. Excellent and good value for money. £1000 in pans returned to new for £200 plus postage.

Couldn't locate a specialist tinning service in Ireland.Slight trepidation on my part about sending off such bulky but ultimately quite fragile pots to the extremity of England. I got clear concise information on how to proceed, an accurate timeline and a superb renovation job. What more can you ask?

Sent Steve a set of 5 antique french pans to be re-tinned. He couldn't have been more helpful and the job he has done is absolutely stunning. To say I'm delighted is an understatement.
Chatted several times on the phone regarding the work I wanted him to do. Steve is a really pleasant and interesting and trustworthy guy.

I got my pans re-tinned back in October and could not fault the service. You can see my previous review for the details, but safe to say I would 100% recommend this service.

However, this review is because one of my pan linings had slightly discolored and I didn't understand why. I thought I would message steve at Newlyn Tinning to ask him, he replied within minutes explaining that I had overheated the pan and linked me some articles helping explain further. Yet again exceptional customer service, even with past customers!

Incredibly professional service. Communication was excellent. Information on the website was extremely helpful. They re-tinned 7 saucepans for us, the results were far better than we expected. Return packing was also excellent. Cannot praise this company enough!

If you need your old copper pans re-tinning, this is the place to come. From first to last this was an absolutely wonderful experience and the service, communication and workmanship was absolutely first class.

Excellent service from a real craftsman - Steve has beautifully retinned a large French Stockpot/daubiere and made a wonderful job of it - I shall certainly ask his help again!

Took 4 old pans into Newlyn Tinning.com after meeting Steve last year. Got them back today. Beautifully restored and safely packed. They look amazing. Steve is a very skilled man who really knows his trade.

We bought our copper pans over 30 years ago in France. They were badly in need of retinning. So glad we found Steve and Newlyn Tinning. He kept us updated throughout the process, which was quicker than we expected.
Got the pans back today looking brighter than when they were new.

I had a tankard which was in poor condition, a bit leaky and reclining required. This was a charity shop purchase which didn't cost the earth, it appeared to have some age to it.
Looked up re tinning services and sent photo to Stephen. Who said he could have a look at it.
Sent it down to Newlyn and Stephen was in contact a couple of weeks later.
Unfortunately due to the materials used in the tankard (Indian apparently) he was unable to re-tin it. It was returned to me all clean and shiny with leaks sealed.
I was in e-mail contact throughout and am very happy with the service provided even though re tinning wasn't possible.
