Newblinds.co.uk offer a variety of blinds, shutters, roman blinds and, crucially for me, insect screens. I had really struggled to find a decent supplier for insect screens in the UK, and these ones were a really nice match for our anthracite double glazing. They offer a selection of fitting methods from which you can choose the method that works best for your windows/spaces.
They were also approximately half the price of similar products provided by other companies, I suspect their competitors are price gouging in a market without much liquidity.
There was good communication during the ordering and shipping phase and the items were delivered well packaged with clear instructions. I will be going back to buy further insect screens and blinds from this company - I would recommend them wholeheartedly!

I ordered 3 mains powered electric blinds from New Blinds.com. We went with the new blinds own motor(not the somfry) and it works very well, quiet and adjustable. It is compatable with our own home automation system(Z Wave). We are building an extension at the moment, so had electrician and joiner onsite to install for us. They are being installed into BlindSpace recessed boxes, 100x100, so space was limited. The first one went in no problem, but the other two were too big for the box. I didn't read the description to see they were on a bigger diameter roll because they are labelled wide fit. It was my error, but thankfully Anna in customer service was able to arrange for us to send them back to be put onto the smaller rolls for a small fee. They are finally installed and look fab and work perfectly. Highly recommend the company (and also reading all the details on the website.)

I am writing this as I keep being emailed to provide this company a review.
I didn't experience any issues with lead time as mentioned by other reviewers, so I assume that's a seasonal thing that varies based on demand.
However, the customer service experience has been incredibly strange. I have the unfortunate combination of a measurement error being made by both myself, and one by the Newblinds team across different parts of my blind. When speaking to customer service they were very prompt in informing me about the options for me to pay more to get them to fix my error, but have been utterly silent regarding my questions about their measurement error. This has not been acknowledged once, and they haven't responded to my email about it despite me providing photographs etc as requested.
As such, I have no idea whether, if I pursue the option to pay and have my blind adjusted, it will even fit the second time as I don't know if they plan to adjust their mistake or just charge me for mine.
In regard to the quality of the blind, it's incredibly flimsy and the mesh itself is of incredibly poor quality compared to products I've used in the past. The quality of the product is definitely not reflective of the price paid.
If you're concerned about longevity and sustainability of a product, this product is not suitable. It does not seem possible to replace the mesh inside with any ease and as such if it gets damaged you'd likely have to pay for an entirely new blind. I think the company could do significantly better on this front, potentially by offering a take-back scheme to recycle old blinds and repurpose them as part of new products etc.
The blind wasn't correctly assembled when it arrived (missing one screw). There were NO instructions. The blind hadn't been paired with the remote control, nor limits set. The wrong adaptor was sent with the correct one taking two weeks to appear. Programming the blind from scratch was a non trivial task. We went to another company for the rest of the house
blinds were made to order, they did not fit even though i gave exact measurements. then they made me gives lots of evidence to prove it was their fault and i had to threaten legal action due to them violating my consumer rights on requesting a refund for a faulty product before they eventually agreed to give me a refund!!!

I bought an aluminium chain insect screen. Can't fault the design or the manufacturing. But I would have been glad if Newblinds had told me how heavy it was (6 kg) and that mounting brackets were highly recommended. Reading the website, I initially thought a couple of little hooks would be adequate but was then forced to pay separate postage to get three brackets to hang it securely.

This has been a horrible buying experience.
The website advertised a delivery timeframe of 7–10 working days, and I was later told that my order was expected to be dispatched on 12 June 2026. I have now been waiting for more than three weeks, but I still have not received any dispatch confirmation, tracking information, or clear update about my order.
I have had to repeatedly chase customer support, and the lack of communication has left me extremely disappointed and concerned about whether my order will ever arrive.
I have now requested that the order be cancelled and that a full refund be returned to my original payment method. Hopefully, they will respond soon and process the refund without any further delay.
I would not recommend ordering from this company based on my experience.

Flimsy pet roller blind. The blind dislodge and goes up by itself so not very helpful preventing pet escaping
Lead time shows 10-15 working days but up to more than 20-30 working days which is more than a month
