Naturally Belize Reviews 

My Dive Buddy and I have travelled extensively (mainly to destinations that include scuba as an option); for the majority of our trips I have made the arrangements. We had visited Belize nine years earlier in 2015. Our trip to Belize was so good that we decided that we would go back. Our previous trip had encompassed three different bases both in the rainforest and at the beach allowing hikes through the rainforest, visits to ancient Mayan sites as well as some diving.
I started out with an internet search looking for companies providing holidays to Belize. Then I checked what was being offered as well as the relative costs. Different providers were offering different potential packages so costs were difficult to compare making this a subjective process. The more serious companies would tailor any package to our requirements. The result of my analysis came down to Naturally Belize. My Dive Buddy agreed with my assessment so I contacted them and arranged a meeting at their offices in late 2023. All of the arrangements could have been made over the phone and via email etc. A meeting between both of us and the people arranging our trip allowed us to, properly discuss things with them, clearly explain what we wanted and assess both their understanding of our wants and their expertise regarding Belize; gaining that sort of clarity otherwise could have taken numerous emails and phone calls.
We were impressed with the Naturally Belize staff, Karen was our main point of contact and both she and her colleagues clearly demonstrated knowledge of Belize and specific destinations that could only have been gained by visiting the areas and lodges/hotels concerned. We came away from our meeting happy that our requirements had been understood.
Within nine days of our meeting Karen had provided us with three costed options for a trip that varied in the dates and locations involved but that all met our requirements. The two of us discussed the options and within two weeks had confirmed our choice with Karen. Three days after that we had completed the booking form and paid the deposit. Later we paid the balance on time and everything else went as expected. Karen was available via email or on the phone to answer any questions.
Our actual trip was for 3 weeks from mid-April 2024 through early May. Because there were no direct flights to Belize we required an overnight stay in Miami. Our time in Belize was spread across four locations. Chan Chich Lodge a lodge in the forest of Orange Walk District, Black Rock Lodge in the Cayo District, Belizean Nirvana a small hotel in the Stann Creek District and finally Hickatee Cottages in the Toledo District. We had also specified a couple of tours while in Belize; firstly a day trip from Black Rock to the massive Tikal Mayan site in Guatemala and secondly a chocolate trip from Hickatee Cottages to see the farming and processing of the chocolate pods. We wanted the freedom to choose other tours as and when we wanted.
I have arranged quite a few trips around the world. For me where the need for a company such as Simply Belize comes in is two main area. Firstly being able to discuss what you want with people who know the country have visited the area and the hotels/lodges where you might stay. Secondly having someone not just book the accommodation but arrange for transfers between different locations. Sorting all of this for yourself can be a nightmare.
Our trip involved four international flights, the USA being a staging post to and from Belize, two internal flights three longer road transfers between locations and not forgetting the shorter road trips to pick up our internal flights. There comes a time when it just makes sense to leave the work to someone else. Nearly everything went like clockwork. We had a slight issue when our transport to take us from the Sir Barry Bowen airport in Belize City to Chan Chich Lodge was an hour and a quarter late but that was due to a local mistake, the arrangements and correct times had been provided. When we got to the Toledo District our Chocolate Tour turned out to be unavailable, the place we were supposed to visit was closed. However the guide who was to take us on the tour made an impromptu arrangement to visit a Mayan home where we had what was to my mind the best tour we did on our entire holiday. Again nothing that Simply Belize could have foreseen.
I would thoroughly recommend Belize as a holiday destination to anyone, whether you want to hike through the rainforest or lie on a beach. We had a truly amazing holiday and I can only thank Karen and the Simply Belize team for arranging such a fantastic holiday for us.

Naturally Belize provided a 4 centre holiday which showcased the great variety of experiences Belize has to offer. A jungle lodge with wildlife and Mayan ruins at Lamanai, Busy San Pedro with its quality restaurants snorkeling trips and noisy golf carts was contrasted by our peaceful accommodation offered at Xanadu island resort and then nearby Caye Caulker providing a slower pace of island life for our third day. Chaa creek near San Ignazio offered a luxury lodge specialising in adventures into caves, abundant
wildlife and proximity to Mayan sites both in Belize and at Tikal over the border on Guatemala. Our trip ended in Placencia a quieter beach resort with access to the outer reef for diving or snorkeling and a real Carribbean feel, staying at Chabil Mar a luxury resort of fully equipped villas in beautiful gardens all overlooking the sea or the pool and sea. All our transfers by road plane and boat went without a hitch. Karen's detailed knowledge of Belize helped us plan a wonderful trip. I highly recommend this company.

I had my eye on Belize as a probable destination with a few ideas then decided to Google ‘Belize travel agents’ on the off-chance and found Naturally Belize. I’m so pleased that I chose this route for our 22 day/5 destination tour of the country. The logistics were superb accommodation great and the pre-trip briefing and support documentation outstanding. Karen expertly looked after us from start to finish. Our accommodation at both places we stayed was amazing, both very different giving us a feel for the jungle and the coast. Detailed information of day trips given to us to choose and booked for us, she even helped book our evening meals at San Pedro as we were visiting Belize at Christmas so it was busy. The whole holiday went like clockwork. I would have no hesitation in recommending Naturally Belize to anyone considering booking a holiday like this.

Karen Smith at Naturally Belize took us to Cancun, via Gatwick, and then onto a three centre experience in Belize that was pure magic.
Every choice of hotel, there were five, was chosen exactly as we would have chosen ourselves. Every resort was perfect, wonderfully friendly staff and Karen booked us the most amazing excursions and experiences.
Every detail, every transfer was planned and executed perfectly and our group originated from Washington, Auckland and London!
We all met up in the Forests of Lamanai as planned and enjoyed a wonderful holiday.

The detailed itinerary was exemplary, put together in such a way as to be informative and leaving few, if any questions that needed further investigation. The service provided by Naturally Belize was friendly and always very helpful. The trip was fantastic, and a great introduction to Belize was experienced by the 28 mile speedboat ride to the first jungle lodge. All accommodations were superb with the staff being most attentive. All in all, a holiday was had with many different experiences including nature walks, visits to Mayan sites, snorkelling and river tubing. I cannot praise all involved at Lamanai Outpost Lodge, Belizean Nirvana at Placencia and Black Rock Lodge
highly enough. Add to which it was very good value and hats off to Naturally Belize!

Karen was very quick to response to my original enquiry and took pains to understand what we wanted to do. Rather than offer an off the shelf tour, She produced several itineraries for us until we got one that met time and budget constraints. All the arrangements worked without a hitch, we had a fantastic trip and fell in love with the country.

My son and I were looking for somewhere to go during his gap year before starting university. We’d considered a few destinations when I then came across the Naturally Belize website. We got in touch and following a call with Karen, we received some example itineraries. We knew straight away that we wanted to go ahead with them. Karen has been amazing throughout the whole booking process. My son was recovering from an ankle injury, and she made sure that our accommodations were aware of this and also organised special assistance for him at all of the airports. Her knowledge of the country, accommodation and excursions is brilliant and she is able to answer any questions you have. We got back from our trip a few days ago and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most amazing experiences we’ve ever had. This is all thanks to Karen at Naturally Belize!

From initial contact to end of our holiday, Naturally Belize provided a first class service. From out initial contact with them they responded promptly at all stages (but without being 'pushy'). They provided us with loads of helpful information and tips about Belize in general and our chosen locations in particular. She listened to all our requests and made sure everything fitted in with our needs. in Belize, Lamanai Outpost Lodge and Xanadu Beach Resort were both superb in terms of their location, cleanliness, standard of accommodation, staff attentiveness and service, as well as excursions available. The food at Lamanai Lodge was exceptional; their Gluten Free options were equally delicious.

We wanted to go to Belize for a honeymoon but were unsure where to start with planning, logistics and accommodation. My wife phoned Naturally Belize and they could not have been more helpful. Taking time to discuss exactly what we wanted we were presented with a number of itineraries and options for us to choose the right one. Slight amendments were quickly dealt with and the whole holiday with multi centre transfers and locations was stress free and memorable. Thank you Karen.

Naturally Belize organised a fantastic holiday for us, a family of four. We stayed in two jungle locations and two beach. They really showcased the amazing variety of what Belize has to offer. We say wildlife, explored the jungle, relaxed on the beach and snorkeled with sharks and rays. It was a wonderful and unforgettable holiday with many, many highlights. We originally travelled to Belize in 2020, but our trip was interrupted by Covid, and then further postponed in 2021. Naturally Belize got us back to the UK when we had to abandon our holiday, and then arranged credits from the lodges and re-scheduled our trip, so we were finally able to travel in 2022. Had a fantastic holiday, perfect organisation, excellent lodges. Naturally Belize really looked after us, we can't recommend them highly enough.
