All I can say is… WOW. I found Kate and Stay Wild through a friend’s Instagram story and, on a total whim, hit follow. The Hikes and Hot Chai Pakistan trip was exactly what I was looking for in a group experience. I knew basically nothing about Pakistan at the time, but after seeing how thoughtfully organized the itinerary was and spending time on the Stay Wild website, I just knew this was my trip.
I’ll be honest—I was a little nervous about meeting Kate. Some influencers can feel performative or disingenuous in real life, but that could not have been further from the truth. Kate is genuinely the same person you see online—if not better. She’s honest, upbeat, and always puts the group first, even when things don’t go exactly as planned. She’s incredible at creating fun, meaningful moments while making everyone feel comfortable and included. Plus, she’s hilarious, warm, extremely competitive at games, and so clearly driven by her love for travel.
Having never been to Central Asia, I had no idea what to expect—but Pakistan absolutely blew me away. It is stunning, and I now fully understand why Kate keeps going back. You will fall in love with the people, the culture, and the views—it’s inevitable. This trip was hands-down one of the best experiences of my life and holds such a special place in my heart. I still think about our group, our guides, and the entire experience daily. Everything was truly top-tier.
And yes—there is lots of hiking and LOTS of chai. I cannot wait for my next adventure with Stay Wild xx

What a great tour- well organised and got to not only see the big and famous spots across Egypt but also some cool experiences that felt off the beaten track. Kate, Omar, all of the new friendships formed, & Egyptian hospitality made this adventure an 11/10 experience that I can’t stop talking about.

I recently went on a group trip to Egypt with Stay Wild. It was one of the best experiences of my life. The founder perfectly curated an itinerary that highlights historical significant locations like the Pyramids, Valley of the Kings, etc but also mixes in cultural elements that would be very difficult to replicate on your own. We were able to interact and learn from locals across the country, learn about history, ways of life and so much more. The group quickly bonded and have shared memories that will last a lifetime. 1000/10 recommend!

Egypt with Kate and Stay Wild was absolutely the best time. The itinerary was great, with some amazing experiences that’s I’ve never seen on other tours. Can’t forget our guide Omar, who was so so helpful, coming to the rescue on a few occasions. 10/10 recommend, and I’ve already booked on to another Stay Wild trip next year.

I’ve just had the best experience with Stay Wild Travel. Kate created such an amazing itinerary that allowed us to really see Egypt for all that it is. We immersed ourselves in their culture and learned so much about this beautiful country. From the pyramids of Giza, to inspiring women partnerships, to traditional dancing in a Nubian village and diving in the Red Sea, this trip covered it all! The most fantastic group trip!
Kate has put together such a well thought out and varied itinerary which really incorporates all aspects of Egypt and offers a unique perspective on the country. From the very first day, I felt so comfortable and happy which made the goodbyes at the end even harder. A massive thank you to Kate and Omar for providing such an amazing opportunity to experience this beautiful country and learn so much more than I had ever expected.
I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking not only to explore the touristy side of Egypt, but also to go off the beaten path and make some incredible memories!

Where to even start? I cannot put into words how incredible my trip to Egypt with Stay Wild was. Kate has created something I never thought imagineable, with the most incredible itinerary to some of the most beautiful, interesting and amazing places in Egypt. Going to Egypt had always been one of my dreams, but I never knew when the right time would be. Then a friend told me about this tour, organized by a woman who focuses on trips to countries that can be tricky to explore solo, and the idea of traveling with a group of amazing women sounded perfect.

Honestly, I feel like I hit the jackpot! The trip went above and beyond my expectations. I got to see so many different sides of Egypt, from the chaos of the cities to peaceful towns, and the warmth and hospitality of the Egyptian people made me feel completely at home. Thanks Kate and Omar for guiding this experience!!!

What a mindblowing trip Kate put together! I mean, look at that itinerary 😍 This was my first ever group trip experience and I had the most amazing time. Amazing. The trip was well organized. We did different activities, saw a lot and spent an amazing time together. We did some amazing off the beaten path experience that I wouldn't have found if I would have gone by myself. It was my first group trip experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one.

I can't rave enough about how (FREAKING) amazing this trip was! I can honestly say I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and warmth of Pakistan. This is hands down one of my best adventures yet. Kate and Ready For Road put together such a thoughtful, fun, and jam-packed itinerary. It had a perfect balance of full-on adventure mixed with plenty of downtime to just relax and soak it all in. One of the best things about the trip was how connected I felt to the culture, and I'm so thankful to Kate and our wonderful guides for that experience. It felt like we'd known each other forever after just two days together. The fact that we didn't solely sightsee but also visited our guides' hometowns, stayed with their families, and shared amazing meals together made this trip stand out from any other l've been on.
If you are hesitant at all about traveling with a group of strangers from around the world for two weeks, trust me when I say GO FOR IT. Kate creates such a welcoming atmosphere where you can truly be yourself, spend way too much time laughing to the point of crying, and have deep and meaningful conversations in some of the most beautiful spots imaginable. And by beautiful, I mean BEAUTIFUL. I'm pretty sure everyone I know is sick of hearing me talk about this trip, but I genuinely can't get over it. It's a trip that will forever have a special spot in my heart. So much love for Pakistan, so much love for Kate, and so much love for the best guides!

The group trip to Pakistan was one of the best experiences I have ever had! One of (if not the) best things about the trip was how Kate created an amazing and safe atmosphere where everyone could be themselves. She knew exactly how to get the group out of their comfort zones without it feeling forced. We didn’t just learn about the country and its culture, but also about ourselves and each other. Kate’s balance of spontaneity and liveliness as well as seriousness made the experience not only inspiring but also really enjoyable!

WOW- I had the best trip to Pakistan with Stay Wild Travel. Pakistan was a dream destination for me but I never would have gone alone. From the moment we arrived I knew we were in the best hands. Everything was so well organized and you can tell the itinerary was designed with a lot of thought and care. I will talk about this trip and all the memories made for the rest of my life. Kate’s warmth, enthusiasm and ability to connect with people ,brought our group together and elevated the entire trip,as she was truly interested in getting to know us, our stories and backgrounds,she was a shining example of kindness and was fully immersed in every aspect of the trip ,she prioritised genuine experiences,whether that was climbing a mountain ,settling in for a cosy night at a local homestay or enjoying a delicious,flavourful thoughtfully prepared meal. The trip showcased Pakistan’s natural beauty and rich culture. It wasn’t all about sightseeing but more about connecting with the people and the land in a meaningful and sustainable way while supporting local communities. I can’t recommend Kate enough, if you want to experience an authentic trip with a personal touch.
