Good products but eh on shipping

I've ordered before with no issues and like their body wash. But I'm a little irritated my second time around. I ordered a week ago today, and then the next day I got shipping conformation saying the shipping label was created and I was due for delivery today. They waited until last night to actually give it to UPS. Why wait until the last minute? They claim to ship their order out within 2 days of ordering and that you'll get your order in 3-7 days. Maybe they should update this if they're struggling to keep up with orders or if they're having issues.

Worst Customer service that's ended a 3 year happy relationship

It's a shame that I am here writing this bittersweet review. I'll start with the positive. Up until Feb 2022...for approx 3 years... I've been a very happy customer. I love the body wash. A small bit lathers up soooo much. The bottle goes a long way. Their scents I have enjoyed.

The deodorant has mostly been a positive experience. I noticed as soon as I tried the charcoal... that I was smelly at the 1st activity... but that wasnt the case with the others- coconut vanilla (for example).

I've read some previous reviews about this being a lighter weight deodorant...I agree

I give the deodorant a 4/5... and I like the idea of the plastic free option

Which leads me to my negative review!

My last order included the plastic free...but never arrived 🤪 Feb 2 I placed my order...recieved the chipper confirmation email.. got my tracking... it left.... and when my order arrived it wasnt my order.

This is where I went seeking customer for the 1st time in 3 years & learned it wasnt going to be a good experience

The package that arrived were not the scents I ordered & it was a smaller order. I looked back at the label on the box... and my sticker was placed over top of another shipping label....but exposed was another recipient's name and a partial Toronto address. AHHH ok this makes sense now Maybe this guy has my order? 2 Toronto deliveries....who knows

My engagement started off well... the 1st day ... "Julia" seemed perplexed as to how I got someone else's order. Seemed interested to help me. And then disappeared. Poof gone. I've been in customer service.. it's so important... this ghosting was so childlike and I actually couldn't believe this was how it was going down.

I've commented on their stories sent ample email Messaged thru IG. Once, 4 weeks after order placed, I for a response saying "what's your order # and email" and another reply saying "were just a small business ..doing our best" I even offered my phone # so someone could call and under stand that I got someone else's order and simply wanted mine.

Long and short ... Julia is a hoax and their CS is something to be desired

Best I could do to get my money back was report them to Visa Fraud. I recommend the same ... get your $ back. And I hope visa gets the money from Native

I'm now going to start the exploring again and will hopefully find a local canadian company.

Y'all got me F'ed up

I have no problems with the product, it's the company I find unethical. I'm being charged month after month, getting the same scent (no longer wanting to use them) and am unable to cancel. I've tried the "forgot my password" option numerous times and the email never comes. Now, I know that it isn't an issue of not having an account, otherwise I would not get billing and order updates. It takes way too long to get ahold of anyone, so the issue persists. I'm sick of this front of being a non-wasteful, ethical company, when the website is non-functional when it needs to be, resulting in wasting my money on products that I don't need or want. I'd rather buy it in the store, except they don't have any of the scents that I love, so... Time to say goodbye

IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN DO NOT BUY!!

I bought this deoderant at a local big box store. Within a few days of using it I developed a severe rash that eventually caused skin breakdown. When I reached out to native they refused to give my money back. They claimed because I didn't buy the product from their site they won't stand behind their product, but yet they offered a reason why my skin was sensitive to the product. BAKING SODA!!! So this reaction is a KNOWN issue but yet they do not warn consumers!!! Shame on you native! Spend a few extra dollars and buy Lume!!! A much better product!!!

Loved some scents - Shame about new shipping policy

I switched to sensitive Native deo after using a UK based (where I am) natural deodorant that burnt my armpits. The majority of the scents I chose smelt amazing and lasted most of the day. I had no reaction to the product thankfully.
I wouldn't say this product is ideal for heavy sweaters but was fine for me just sat at my desk working from home during all seasons of the year.

Unfortunately Native have updated their shipping policy so I can no longer order to the UK. Such a shame as now I will have to find an alternative.

This product is the worse

This product is the worse. I started getting bumps under my arm and I was fearing I had cancer. I stopped using it for 2 days and the bumps began to disappear. My recommendation is to not purchase this product. It is not cracked up to what they advertise- especially if a product causes injury.

I have had no issues with their customer service. I even got a replacement when I ordered a scent I thought was awful (butterscotch). I just wrote to them that it smelled awful as a review for the one product and they gave me a better one at no charge.

I will say that the product is for LIGHT workers. In office , no heavy lifting etc. Which I think is where the product fails and should be more clear. If you sweat, because it's for sensitive skin, the deodorant clumps up and can damage clothes. It's a fairly important factor they should make clear.

But if you have light days, it's good and the products are fairly prompt for direct orders. I think a lot of reviews I read said it took like 2-4 weeks? Since that's the estimate I am generally given, I think that's to be expected. If you don't want to wait, they do sell the products at Target now so you no longer have to wait. Target just doesn't have the variety of online so, I don't tend to purchase there.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

I honestly am so sadden to be writing this bad review, as I typically only write positive reviews and try to always be understanding of things. However, I placed my order on November 8 and it's now November 17 and the company hasnt even gotten the box to UPS, even though native claims they get their orders out within 3-7 days. This is bananas to me. I am a subscription holder to companies such as mighty nest and grove collaborative and THEY offer great customer service, they even have a real person who can personally look into your order and show that you being a loyal customer is important to them. I've sent at least five emails and the responses are all just auto generated. They just try to pacify you claiming your order is on the way and not to worry. They constantly give you your tracking information, as though to taunt you that literally nothing has been handled and you still aren't receiving your order.

I really actually love their products, but I cancelled my subscriptions today. If I plan on purchasing something from them I'll just get it from Target, at least when I spend my cash, I'll have the product in hand.

Nobody cares about their customers there. It's ridiculous. I've been reaching out to try to get a refund. I honestly don't think I'll get it though. Please don't order from them online.

It destroyed nearly all my shirts

It destroyed nearly all my shirts. After using the eucalyptus for a few months I noticed a horrid musty smell from the armpits of my clothing. It turned my husband's white shirts grayish. The smell though... it penatrated my closet. I soaked the pits in pure green and washed hot... still it persisted. I'm devastated and had to buy a handful of shirts to wear to work so I wasn't fumigating my clients. I've used natural deodorant for 15yrs at least and never had this issue. I'd like to add, I had developed a routine of washing my arm pits multiple times throughout the day to reapply the deodorant and it still didn't work. That should've been a red flag. This went on for months while my clothes got worse and worse. I used native for 2 or 3 yrs. Don't wait for it to destroy your clothes too.

The only deodorant I will use!

I am a cancer survivor and was on the lookout for a product that wasn't toxic. Many of the commercial deodorants on the market caused swelling in my lymph nodes. I tried several other natural options that did absolutely nothing to control odor. I was so excited when this did the trick and didn't aggravate my sensitive lymph nodes. I've been using this product for over 5 years now!

avoid this company like the plague.

I decided to order a body wash from them because it was all natural. After I place the order I I got a super goofy confirmation talking about how excited they were to get my order, like I was a four-year-old… Or, a millennial :-).

Then I started receiving advertising in my email from them for other products in that same goofy style. after a couple days I checked on my order which had not shipped yet so I contacted them to ask them when it would ship, and why they are sending me all this mail now.

At that point I contacted them and told them I wanted my order canceled because it had not shipped, and I was sick of their stupid email ads.

They apologized and told me that it would be ready to ship shortly and they would credit me back the cost of the product to compensate me for the delay and the email flood. They also told me I would receive a shipping confirmation within 24 hours. I never did.

Three or four days later I contacted them again for any kind of an update, letting them know I did not receive shipping confirmation, and never heard back.

Don’t know if their product is any good or not, but the company seems to be run by a bunch of goofballs. If you’re looking for organic products I suggest looking somewhere else.

UPDATE- finally received my body wash after a couple of weeks. works fine, very little scent of the eucalyptus and mint. I don’t know whether that is a pro or con. If they can fix their fulfillment system, like getting it on Amazon prime, and make their communications more adult like, I would probably consider purchasing it again.

Not good enough

If you have a physically active job, these products are not for you. The scent and the deodorant did not even last until midday. I need to feel and smell fresh for 8 hours, an entire word day, not just a few hours.

They use deceptive sales practices to…

They use deceptive sales practices to get you to order. LAbor day sale was another example, spend 30 or more and get 20% off, implied is off total order not just one 30 dollar item, but thats how it tallied it. So I order 90.00 worth n got 20% off of only 30.00. Customer service was zero help and the offer 10% off an order, which is able to be applied to any order at any time. Look elsewhere for natural product. Since the buy out they sold out.

My experience with NATIVE was…perfect!

My experience with NATIVE was wonderful! I bought four bottles of the body wash. I got frequent, funny emails from a Customer Rep named Julia. Everything went smoothly and I received the body wash in a timely manner. They ALL smell fabulous! I will order more body wash. All in all I am a very happy customer!

Native - Great products AND they made me laugh

I started using Native because the last two "natural" deodorants gave me hives. I am using the "sensitive" one and it is excellent. I've been using for 1 1/2 years and couldn't be happier with the product. I started the bath soap too and love it.

But the other thing... I just placed another order and got great "your order was placed" and "your order was shipped" emails. They were hysterical - thanking me effusively (is that a word?) and making me laugh.

I love this company and their products and so happy they are a US company!

I never ordered from them and continue to get someone else's emails

I have sent this company multiple emails on three different occasions telling them I have never ordered from them. My email address was merged with a separate address attached to a separate person. I have unsubscribed multiple times. I continue to get confirmation emails for another person in another country and they send me this person's personal information. Their customer service is seriously lacking. Being unable to unsubscribe is frustrating but I would be even more frustrated if my information was being sent to a stranger.

I have contacted the Native company…

I have contacted the Native company several times to cancel my order but to no avail, they continue to take money out of my checking account for a product I have not received. Today 5/26/2021 they took out money again this makes it well over 30.00 that I have not received the product which is fine but they keep taking my money. There is no phone number to talk to a person you must email. The product is ok does not control odor. If you don't mind receiving this the rest of your life the it is a fine product

Some scents are not very good

Buying products online can be a hit or miss thing, especially when you can't smell them or touch them. All the more when you are unable to return them as the company is based across the pond and you live in the UK.

This was the case with my most recent order from Native. I absolutely loved their coconut & vanilla scent & all the teenage fresh and citrusy scents.

I have found their mens citrus & herbal musk shower gel too overpowering and artificial and not a very sophisticated smell. Tangerine and citrus blossom deodorant had a way too " bitter " quality about it, that really stood out when applied to the skin.

I understand that this is down to personal preference. Unfortunately, I will be giving my products away as they are not my kinda '' scents '' Just shame I have paid a premium price for premium products and will be unable to return them for a refund.
