Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, finding it unresponsive and unhelpful, especially when trying to resolve issues like missing items or defective products. Customers frequently reported problems with product quality, noting that items like shampoo and conditioner left their hair dry, greasy, or waxy, and some experienced skin irritation from deodorants. A significant number of people also found the product packaging to be poorly designed, with many pumps and dispensers not working correctly. Conversely, some people were satisfied with certain products, particularly specific deodorant scents, finding them calming and long-lasting. A few other people also felt that the customer service was excellent, especially when they received assistance with order issues.

Native Coconut Vanilla Body Wash

I really liked the scent of it, and how it paired well with other similar scents. Only bad thing about it is that I use a silicon body scrubber, and it's kind of hard to lather with the native body wash compared to other bodywashes, because other bodywashes have a more watery texture, but if you are smelly and use a loofa you should be good

I placed an order to treat myself after I moved and forgot to update my delivery address. I noticed it the split second after I placed the order and contacted support after taking a few minutes to search for an option to "cancel" my order so I could re-place it to the correct address. My order has now shipped and after sending 2 communications to the company during the last 48 hours I still have not heard back from anyone. There's no option to pursue immediate customer service, which poses a major inconvenience if someone needs assistance that isn't prone to take longer than they have until items ship.

My assessment is as such: Native must treat their employees very poorly if they can't figure out how to staff their business well enough to meet their customers' needs in an economy like this. Maybe take some of the budget you use buying ads on YouTube videos and spend it on wages, bonuses, and benefits instead. Can't imagine I'll want to shop with this company again.

The worst customer service

The worst customer service, totally nonexistent. You purchase a product and they have 0 return / refund support. They claim they do it but never actually do. I bought the coconut moisturizing conditioner and it reeked of super heavy plastics, I almost gagged when I first used it.

I’m extremely disappointed with my…

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from Native.
Their website prominently advertises a 30-day unconditional return policy for your first order, which gave me confidence to try their products. Unfortunately, the experience has been the opposite of what that promise suggests.
Two of the spray deodorants I received were defective and would not dispense any product at all. I contacted customer support multiple times to request a return label under their stated policy. Instead of honoring the return, I received repeated requests for photos and videos and long delays between responses.
Even though their policy clearly states that first orders can be returned within 30 days and that they cover return shipping, getting a simple return started has required numerous emails and unnecessary back-and-forth.
A company that advertises an easy, risk-free first purchase should stand behind that promise without making customers jump through hoops, especially when the products themselves arrive defective.
Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend that customers think carefully before ordering directly from Native’s website.

Purchased the brush with a pre-paid debit card because I don’t fully trust buying products/services via internet. Received my product - WIN-WIN right? One week later this company hit me with a $52 charge from an another card…how is that possible especially since I never disclosed I had another form of payment (thieves)? Not to mention I haven’t received any products. Although satisfied with my brush, I will NEVER buy from this company again. I really hate thieves especially corporate thievery!! How did you get my debit card info???

No longer a joy to get

The products are good, what is not good is they upped the price of free shipping to 15.00 yet the deodorant is 14.95 and shampoo etc. is 10.00. On top of that the way they ship has declined. I use to get a nice box with my purchases and a free small size “tester”. The order I just received was a plain box with my products and nothing else. I understand that they are trying to save money and maybe even lower the recycling but, higher prices and no more free “testers” . What else are they skimping on?

Do better. Not worth the price or experience.

Tried their deodorant the rose one and the smell didn't last for more than 30 minutes. Then it left a horrible film that took forever to get off in the shower. My skin felt sticky and gross. Body wash doesn't feel like get clean same with shampoo. Conditioner is thick and greasy. I don't blow dry my hair so by the time my hair dried it felt greasy all over again at the root. The price is ridiculous for the minimum effort of the product. You can do way better.

Don't bother. Always out of stock on lotions. Or new scents are without lotions. I gave up the stupid chase and my daughter loved these at one point.

I ordered 1 week ago and they charged me but my package has not even been put together next time I'll wait for a restock in Target or Walmart because the company does not deliver. I use The sugar cookie and that to me right now the best only one issue the shampoo is amazing in sugar cookie but conditioner I don't know I think the shampoo is so moisturizing pairs great with a mask. Hope they improve shipping.

I’m surprised at the negative reviews, I think native started with sunscreen and probably should’ve stayed along those lines, fragrance is not a good thing, but this company makes the best sunscreen of any I’ve ever tried and I’ve tried them all!

I just have to say thank you for this…

I just have to say thank you for this Native scent. The honey-vanilla (or sugar-cookie) line has honestly been life-changing for me. As someone who deals with high stress and has some autistic traits, finding a scent that can instantly calm me down is huge. This soap and deodorant aren’t just products to me—they’re like little anchors of comfort in my day. The moment I smell it, I feel calmer. I don’t care who’s watching; I’ll literally stop and just take it in because it makes that much of a difference for me. Thank you for creating a scent that can turn a stressful moment into a peaceful one. It’s a small thing, but for me, it’s a game-changer.

First time ordering and would never order again! Left package in hallway and when I opened it I was suppose to get a free item! Never received it and I spent lots of money on the products. I would see how the item works but if it’s not good I’ll be using my favorite item “EOS”
