Windscreen hit by stone thrown up by passing truck 16th September . Earliest appointment 23rd September waited in all day till 4pm when fitter found wrong trim sent had to rebook 30th September. Fitter called 9am due to poor weather given choice to rebook or take car to depot.
Sat in grubby waiting room 3 hours while windscreen replaced.
The fitter was polite and apologetic no complaints about staff but the system very poor.

Hi,
I am absolutely appalled by the service I have received from National Windscreens.
After waiting 10 days for my replacement rear window and being repeatedly chased to pay my £150 excess, I finally made the payment today. As I expected, no sooner had you taken my money than I was informed that tomorrow’s appointment has been cancelled because the supplier has supposedly let you down.
Quite frankly, this is unacceptable.
You were quick enough to take my payment, yet somehow unable to guarantee that you actually had the glass available before taking my money. This has left me without a secure vehicle for even longer, caused unnecessary inconvenience, and completely undermined any confidence I had in your company.
I’ve rearranged my time around this appointment, only to be let down at the last minute. This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s a complete lack of organisation and respect for your customers.
I expect an explanation as to why payment was taken before the availability of the part was confirmed, and I want a priority appointment arranged as soon as the glass is available. If this cannot be resolved promptly, I will have no hesitation in making a formal complaint and sharing my experience publicly, as this level of service is simply unacceptable.
I look forward to your urgent response

Easy to book a appointment, drop of the vehicle, meet by a polite guy, told when to pick it back up, was ready on time, the chap explained what they had done, shown to the car he had a chance round it and ask was everything ok, did a very good job.

I needed a repair to my windscreen through my insurance company and the process for booking this and paying my excess as required was faultless.
The colleague the visited to carry out the repair was very helpful, informative and efficient.
A great experience.

The work was done well and on time. What disappointed me most when I turned up and got the car back was twofold. First, I arrived within my allotted time window and was met by a stressed worker who clearly had a lot of people arriving and cars backing up. Being honest, that is not my problem. I arrived when advised, so I would say don’t overshare your frustrations, although I felt for you. Secondly, and more importantly, we have white leather in the car; when you test drive it, make sure you use seat covers and remove the dirt/mud on the carpets properly. When we got home, I had to clean the inside of the front of the car and remove the grime from the seats and carpets. Overall, it was okay, but it could be better with more attention to detail.

The update App to show when / where technician is to understand arrival time was useless. The technician called with approx arrival time (1.5hrs) and was professional when carrying out repair.

Apart from fitting the wrong windscreen and staining my passenger seat with some white glue, causing me to have to return the following Saturday at 8:30am and wait until 2pm before they’d managed to fit a windscreen that actually fitted, everything went well! Absolute garbage.

My windscreen was fitted professionally with great service and completed in less than two hours including the camera calibration. I would certainly recommend this service centre to others.

Given a slot for 8.30 9.30 turned up at 8.20. Couldn’t locate windscreen easily eventually found. Came back at 12.00 my car not even started. Customer care poor - even though they hadn’t started our car the other fitter called another customer (afternoon forward. Working on it at 12.00 ! Got home ADS not working . After another day of calling and waiting for a call back it seems the wrong windscreen fitted. Needs a bmw part. Overall systems non existent, workshop environment shocking and customer care lacking . Only part that worked is the complaints section ( Ian and Vicky) Now going to go to Burnley , date time be agreed to have correct window fitted. If there was a zero I would have marked it as such . All at our time and expense.
