Not a great experience
Not a great experience. Arranging an appointment was clunky, far more steps than necessary. On arrival at 08:28 for a 08:30 the place looked deserted and no signage as to where to go. Once booked in I was then phoned to say my windscreen could not be done because of the rain and could I attend the their facility, which is exactly where I was waiting. The chip was a little bigger than a 5p but they were unable to repair it to a reasonable visual standard but the threat of a screen crack had been mitigated, but I could have a new screen if not happy for a further £110. I going elsewhere for a second opinion.

Easy on line booking and good communications. The location was brilliant with friendly staff. Windscreen replacement very fast, a nice and clean tidy job. Five days on, no leaks or issues, absolutely brilliant.

Very poor service
I phoned the insurance company on Monday and was informed the job of replacing the broken drivers side door windows would be passed to National windscreens as an urgent job (as my car was insecure). I phoned back on Tuesday to ask why I hadn’t heard anything and eventually had a call from National windscreens to arrange an appointment to replace my ‘windscreen’ I explained again that it was the drivers side door and not the windscreen. They then said they have to order the part and made an appointment for Thursday. Turned up Thursday with the wrong window so had to wait till Friday for the job to actually be complete

Disappointing experience
Whist I cannot fault the staff and the service I received on both my visits it was very irritating to have to return the vehicle as the screen would not calibrate on the first visit.
I do not live anywhere near the fitting centre and the screen couldn’t be fitted at home as it required calibration. An hour’s journey each way on both occasions was both time consuming and tiring to say the least.
Today as the car sat in the sunshine the on screen device fell off though thankfully it seems to have stuck when reattached! I do not wish to have to return for a third time !!
