Napa doesn't honor the warranty on…
Napa doesn't honor the warranty on their batteries unless you have original receipt
Shipping and return policies make Napa untrustworthy.
I ordered a car part that was suppose to arrive the next day. I ordered it so I could get it the next day as I needed my car on the road. Over a week later it had still not arrived, there were just constant emails saying it was delayed. From the first email I contacted Napa to say I wanted to cancel it as I needed it immediately. They said I could not cancel the order but could return it for a FULL refund. When it did eventually arrive I returned it as instructed and when I checked the refund on my credit card it was about 70% of what they had charged for the order. I had to purchase the part from another source, lost a bunch of money because they could not honor their delivery timeline and they lied about the refund.
Lose a customer over a 15,00 dollar…
Lose a customer over a 15,00 dollar part. Bought a relay for my Honda. The part fit and was working when I tried it. But it got HOT fast, and I did not feel safe using it. The other relays in the car felt normal. So, I took it back and the person said I had electrical problems, which I do not. He was very rude and did not want to work with me. He said no returns. If this is the way they feel and will not back their products. I will never use them again. The store is 092NTN Rutledge 4510 Asheville Hwy. Knoxville, Tn 865 524 4611
Dangerous truck driver.
NAPA TRUCK DRIVER with tattooed right forearm / hand, on M4 heading towards Cardiff was witnessed driving dangerously without any consideration nor care of other motorists, sooner or later will cause a serious accident !!!.
I order a part on 06/05/2025
I order a part on 06/05/2025, they waited until 06/15/25 to cancel my order. That is a shame, it was a present for Father’s Day.
Buyer Beware
I purchased a part online that was guaranteed to fit my car per the NAPA website. I had a local shop that I have used for the last 10 years to install the part. The part did not fit. I have spent over 4 weeks trying to get NAPA to refund the $200 in labor costs from the shop because of the part not fitting. I have answered every question and every email they have sent me timely. I has been over 4 weeks with many requests for updates and no response. I would not recommend buying parts from NAPA. The prices are higher, and they do not stand behind their product or services. I have since purchased another part from another auto parts store, and the part fits the car.

My husband went to buy brake cleaner today.Absolutly awful service.Nobody came to serve him after he put the item on the counter. This company should get some lessons for choosing the right staff and especially the lessons how to improve the costumer service.Shocking !!!!
Very rude with poor customer service.
Very rude with poor customer service.
I called to ask if they could get a vehicle part for me, they didn’t take the time to look on their system just gave me a straight up reply with rude tone “probably not!”
So if you need car parts I recommend Bennett’s car parts they are always helpful and find the parts I’m looking for every time.

Absolute shambles
Absolute shambles – avoid this place like the plague.
Had yet another terrible experience here. Called to get a price for a clutch kit, was told the total over the phone and agreed to order it. Turned up the next day to collect it, and suddenly there’s a mysterious £15 “delivery fee” no one mentioned before. Of course, my car was already with the mechanic, so I was basically forced to pay it or delay the repair. Total bait-and-switch.
And this isn’t the first time either. Last year I came in for brake pads – was quoted a price £20 higher than Euro Car Parts for the exact same product. The moment I said “forget it,” the price magically dropped without a word. No explanation, no honesty – just hoping I wouldn’t notice.
This place is dodgy through and through. Shady pricing tactics, no transparency, and a seriously bad attitude. I wouldn’t trust them with a wheel nut, let alone a proper part. Never going back, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to steer well clear.
The bald guy behind the counter is a…
The bald guy behind the counter is a nightmare to deal with – rude, dishonest, and always looking for ways to scam customers. I called to get a quote for a clutch kit, agreed on the price, and placed the order. When I went to collect it the next day, he suddenly claimed there was a £15 delivery fee – something that was never mentioned over the phone. Since my car was already with the mechanic, I had no choice but to pay to avoid any further delays.
This wasn’t a one-off either. Last year, I went in for brake pads and was quoted a price that was £20 more than Euro Car Parts for the exact same brand. When I said to cancel the order, he instantly dropped the price without saying a word – I only noticed when he told me the new total.
This place is dodgy from top to bottom. I will never shop here again and will make sure none of my friends or mechanics do either. Stay well away unless you’re happy to be ripped off in broad daylight by a bunch of shameless charlatans.
I had the best experience with NAPA
I had the best experience with NAPA, as a first time buyer. My part was enroute, until it got to the Doraville GA UPS site where my package was broken into, items stolen, and box discarded. Well NAPA saved the day. Always for the customer, & the replacement got here faster than the original. Blessings guys, you have my business going forward. Thanks
Always really helpful people!
These guys at Napa are the best
These guys at Napa are the best! I've been dealing with them for several years and have nothing but the finest words for their service, repairs and pricing. They will diagnose the problem, repair and bill you with a fair and honest cost. They have become friends over the years and I trust them with any of my automobiles. Thank you so much guys...I recommend them to everyone and anyone!
Sent wrong part (and #) given terrible runaround trying to return it.
I made the mistake of ordering brake shoes online. They sent me the wrong brakes with a completely different part # then I ordered. Then they made my take pictures and call multiple times to get a return shipping label. Each time asking for proof they sent me the wrong part. Then I had to just cancel the order as they kept delaying sending out the correct brakes.
I wouldn't be so mad, but I have used them on and off since the late 1970's here locally and everytime they have to order in a part, they get the wrong one. Now I know it is the same online. Never use them again!!! I'm done :o(
NAPA auto in Payette Idaho
NAPA auto in Payette Idaho. The actual MANAGER from this store is the rudest and ignorant I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. No need to go into an in depth review. If you enjoy being insulted or have your time wasted, by all means, by your parts from this idiot. I'll make the trip across the river to Ontario to buy my parts from now on. If and when NAPA upper management makes the call to their store manager, be sure to tell them Ronald Van Hook (that's me) went to Auto Zone to get his battery, and at Auto Zone they know what a Chevy 350 is and understand that it doesn't matter what year it is when it's an off road project vehicle. You'll find my phone number on my Facebook profile. Suffice it to say, your store manager pissed me off. There was another store employee there as well. No doubt, he can verify the whole thing.
Omg worse customer service I have ever…
Omg worse customer service I have ever experienced from their trade counter in Blandford. Can only assume it’s because I’m a women of a certain age AKA invisible. Just to let you know this is the first negative review i can remember writing - funnily they must be the only company in the world not seeking feedback (… On a scale of 1-10 would you recommend us ) if there was a zero star for this site I would give it!
I will neve buy from NAPA on line again - here is why
Napa sent me a defective part, so I tried to return it to my local NAPA store the next day. The store staff said they could not help and gave a phone number to call. Of course nobody is available at NAPA online so I leave a call back number and leave the NAPA store. After a while they call back and want a letter from a mechanic stating its bad - I said I am the mechanic and I am not writing you a letter. Then she said take it back to the NAPA store - I did while still on the phone and the NAPA manager told the online rep it was defective and the NAPA on line person hung up - NOW WHAT ???? I will call my credit card company next. NEVER AGAIN NAPA ON LINE !
This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! I am beyond furious that NAPA would pull such a shady move
This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! I am beyond furious that NAPA would pull such a shady move and sell me a completely useless, discontinued scanner! I just bought this piece of junk TODAY, 04/14/2025, and the manufacturer confirmed it's ANCIENT – apparently this "tplscanner" hasn't been supported for EIGHT YEARS, with a sticker date of 8/2016! What kind of garbage are you trying to pawn off on your customers? Selling outdated, unsupported equipment that's practically a fossil is a disgusting way to do business. Now I'm stuck with a scanner that does absolutely NOTHING! Consider this a HUGE warning to anyone thinking of buying electronics from NAPA – you might just end up with a worthless paperweight! I demand answers and a resolution to this outrageous situation!
No use to buy a warranted battery!!
Very unfriendly and dishonest people!! First when I bought a battery, they refused to install it. That battery came with an 18 month warranty and when it failed and regularly lost power, they refused to replace it!! They check its voltage which, sure enough, was 12V... since it just spent a complete night on a charger!! After leaving a negative Google review, I was asked to contact their Customer Support. Explained 10 times how the battery was diagnosed as defective. Sent all the documents they asked for, and now I get no answer, nothing!! Obviously, their warranty is a bluff!! Go buy your battery somewhere else you can trust!! This company is a joke and their bad rating totally justified!! 80% of one stars! Wow!!
