Great shoes, great price
Beautiful shoes. You see the quality. Haven’t worn them yet, but I expect no problems. Most beautiful shoebox ever! Very nice sleeves to put the shoes in. I like the little Swedish flag detail. The whole package shows artisan quality.
Shipment went totally wrong, but that is UPS’ fault. Myrqvist fixed that by sending a new order by express without extra charge. That is called great service.
I returned that gesture by ordering a second pair of Myrqvist’s!

Good material but they need to work on design
I ordered Stenhammar II in dark brown suede. I live in Canada, it cost me almost CAD-600 with GST and import duty. Beautiful color and material. However, there are some issues with the fit. I ordered a size 9, which is my regular size. The shoe is so narrow and low at the front. I can’t move my toes up. It’s really snug at the front. Normally I would think maybe I should’ve bought half-size larger, but my heel is already moving inside the shoe. So, I think it’s a design flaw. It’s so tight at the front, and a loose at the heel, when I walk, it hurts the knuckle of my head toe after 20 min

Product quality and delivery
Product quality very high and representative to what is shown on the site.
Actual delivery with shipper in my opinion, not included in the far and paid additionally is clunky and is area for improvement.

Great quality leather and classic design
You get what you pay for. Classic upper leather (not genuine leather crap). Great fit, great style, it is getting harder and harder to find an oxford lacing formal or balmoral boots these days at an affordable price.

When I received my order
When I received my order, I was contacted by customs and asked to pay import duties, as they claimed the shipment originated from the United States. However, Myrqvist clearly states on their website that orders are shipped from Sweden.
I live in Denmark, and orders shipped within the EU should not result in customs charges.
When I returned the order, it was sent back to Sweden. According to customs regulations, duties would only be cancelled if the return shipment left the EU, which is not the case here.
As a result, I am left with no way to resolve this and am required to pay a significant amount in customs fees. This situation is unacceptable.

Leather quality
Everything with the company experience was on point from timely dispatch and shipment and presentation/packaging was great. Regarding the actual boot, the leather quality was not representative of the cost, especially for a calfskin leather. It’s stiff and not a leather quality you’d expect you at this price. Besides that, the rest of the boot was great. Especially the fit, it had a nice wide toe box as stated in description and fit so well. They are extremely comfortable and I expect to only get better as they break in.
