We needed to rent a house, an apartment and a room around the same time, in a very challenging rental market whilst coming into winter. Using myRent really helped us get organised, templates for engaging with enquiries and prospective tenants were intuitive and easy to use. It simplified what would have been a very stressful undertaking had we tried to do this independently.

I've found MyRent to be an excellent platform that streamlines virtually every aspect of finding and managing tenants. The entire process is well thought out, from advertising the property and communicating with prospective tenants to arranging viewings, shortlisting applicants, conducting credit checks, and preparing tenancy agreements.
The platform also makes ongoing tenancy management much easier by handling rent collection, lodging bonds with Tenancy Services, and providing tools for regular property inspections. I particularly appreciate how it professionally and respectfully communicates with unsuccessful applicants, which saves time while maintaining goodwill.
Another major benefit is the financial tracking tools, which help keep records of income and expenses organised for tax purposes. MyRent ensures all the important administrative details are set up correctly, giving landlords confidence that nothing has been overlooked.
Overall, MyRent takes much of the stress and complexity out of being a landlord. It provides valuable peace of mind, knowing there is a reliable intermediary in place should any issues arise. The site made listing the property very easy and helped with writing the blurb. I liked the way the inquiries were tracked and I could revisit them. Being able to use the tenancy checker made getting the information stress free and quick and at a reasonable price. I was able get support quickly when needed as I am not very tecky.

Great app and experience! First time landlords and this has made it really easy. Only thing I felt bamboozled was the monthly fee I was under the impression it was $20 per month as that’s how it’s marketed, but it’s actually $20 +gst. It’s not a huge deal but that’s an extra $36 per year that I feel is better off in my pocket, or at least if it was represented properly I could have made peace with it. I just feel false advertising on that price a little..

Well setup for landlord to organise multiple properties.
Notifying to tenants on behalf of landlord is really good.
Preparing legal document is always stressful but the app make it very easy to follow.
