Amazimg service quick to be delivered and also paid thank you so much mynextbike
I dealt with this company as a seller and it wasn't the best experience. Couldn't sell my bike on e-bay as they don't allow sale of electric bikes, so thought I would give this company a go. Ultimately my bike did sell, and I eventually did get my payment, but I found the whole process a bit stressful & drawn out. Communication is not great, they seem to favour email/messaging and no phone numbers published on their website. I did manage to get hold of someone's mobile number in the company and this was helpful when it came to chasing payment & courier issues etc. They did seem a little bit disorganised and not particularly proactive. I ended up having to partially dismantle my bike and pack it myself which was a bit of a hassle. From what I gather on their website they say that this isn't usually the case, maybe I was just unlucky. In my opinion they charge a fairly hefty fee and I was struggling to see where they added sufficient value to the process to justify this. I really didn't feel comfortable with the 30 day wait for payment once my bike was collected by the courier, presumably they have their business reasons for this, but it didn't really sit well with me as a seller. Just be aware that as a seller, you will need to be proactive in managing the selling process and it is a big help if you can at least get. a Whatsapp contact within their office to keep things moving.

Bike arrived on time great communication really pleased with my EMTB!
Had a really good experience with them, my bike sold quickly and for more than I initially expected. I had a lot of contact with customer service throughout, and they replied quickly and were very helpful. I recommend using this platform to sell your bikes.
Easy to navigate the process through the website and fast turnaround time on MNB‘s end. Option to book delivery is very convenient, too.
*** UPDATE: Following this review, I received a response from MyNextBike within 24 hours and was then contacted directly by the director, who personally apologised and reassured me they were looking into the issue. I was called again just a few hours later to verify details, and payment was made shortly afterwards. It’s very uncommon to receive such a prompt and personal response, and it was genuinely appreciated. I hope that improvements can be made to their communication and payment systems so that customers are kept informed without needing to chase, and to reduce the pressure on staff to resolve issues manually via third parties.***
The payment process really needs to be made much clearer when listing an item for sale. I’m now beyond the stated 30‑day payment period and haven’t received any communication from MyNextBike to explain the delay.
I came to Trustpilot hoping to understand whether this was an isolated issue, but it’s concerning to see how many others have experienced similar problems receiving payment. It suggests there are some fundamental communication issues that need to be addressed, regardless of team size.
Has anyone had any success speaking to someone on the phone? I’ve reached out by email (only recently, so I’m still waiting for a response), but based on other reviews I’m not particularly confident about receiving a prompt or clear reply.
The concept is great, but it’s let down by poor communication and payment delays.

At first, I was a little sceptical about using MyNextBike to sell my Santa Cruz eMTB. With it being a higher-value bike, you always hear horror stories about thefts, ride-offs, and scams. However, after reading how their platform works, I decided it was worth a try. The commission was no worse than eBay’s, and with no listing fee, there seemed little downside.
Admittedly, things were a little slow at first, but then I started receiving offers and was able to negotiate directly with buyers through the MyNextBike portal.
The only negative I found was that a buyer can agree on a sale price, accept the offer, and then still choose not to complete the purchase without any penalty. That said, the bike remains live on the site during that process, which actually worked in my favour. I soon received a matching offer from a communicative buyer, who paid instantly once the payment link was sent.
MyNextBike use a specialist bike courier service, so all I had to do was remove the pedals — they handled the rest using a custom-built rack system in the delivery van. Communication from the MyNextBike team was excellent throughout, and once the buyer confirmed he was happy with the bike (which I was confident he would be), the funds were released and landed in my account promptly.
Overall, I went from being sceptical to becoming a genuine MyNextBike convert. It feels far safer for both sellers and buyers than many other selling platforms, and the fees are broadly the same anyway. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, and I’ll definitely use them again.
Now the only question is… what used bike should I buy next?
I have updated this review based on the fact the delivery charge has been refunded.
Whilst the facts of my unfortunate experience detailed below remain true, I have received a request by e-mail from my next bike as follows:
"Cheeky ask, but is there any chance you can amend / remove the review? It's a fair review and I wouldn't typically ask - you have my word that i will improve our systems with the team asap to ensure there's much better communication."
Hopefully they have improved and on testing the phone number now appears to work.
You can only judge the veracity of their statement above by your own future experience....
My original review which they admit was fair is below unamended:-
The website is good I found what I was looking for, an electric trike at a price within my budget with delivery offered in 4-7 days.
I paid for it and waited for it to arrive. At day 4 according to their tracking it had not even been collected from the seller.
Alarmed I had been the victim of a scam I contacted them. They blamed the courier and said they would nudge them. At 7 days I asked what was happening they said they would contact the courier and tell me what was happening at 9 days they advised it was not being picked up until 11 days after my order had been placed.
At day 14 they still had no news on delivery and the phone number they had given me was unavailable.
At this point I had been in contact with the courier and they advised it would be delivered on day 15 which it duly was.
My main gripes are the poor communications, a failure to respond promptly and the worrying aspect the phone number is unavailable.
I must admit to having been quite stressed at times during this experience and as a pensioner the amount of money paid for the bike was substantial, had I not received it eventually I would not have been in a position to purchase another one.
I would recommend that in future "My Next Bike" give realistic delivery dates and keep customers advised if there are any issues over delays to delivery so that expectations are managed in a more professional manner.

Update to review: payment received following an out of hours call from director Matt, he sorted straight away thanks Matt. Outside of this blip it’s a good service. I sold my husbands bike on here (he passed away recently) bike was collected in the 20th April, payment was promised for the 21st May, no sign of it! I’ve chased on 23rd and heard nothing. Starting to panic now!

Just taken delivery of a bike purchased off this site. Paid for it on Wednesday, received it two days later. Really effective communications from the company. Many thanks, a fantastic experience from start to finish.
Just to update my review, I received a call first thing this morning from My Next Bike and my money was paid within 10 minutes. I am advised that the IoW issue is now resolved and I trust that they have now learnt from this and other feedback and have upped their game.
I appreciate the quick response and should I use them again I would expect to see a real improvement in their customer service as the fundamentals of the business are sound.
Adding my very poor experience to the long list of disappointed customers! Still waiting for my money over a month since the buyer collected the bike. Before that I had several failed sales one of which was because they seemed in capable of shipping to the Isle of White which, last time I checked, was in the UK. Communication is abysmal and whilst some replies seem plausible there is no action following up.

It was a great experience and the response from the team is amazing.
After returning a bike - not as described- it took a while to receive a full refund. It turned out to be that the seller was away for 3 weeks and return delivery delayed. This was not the fault of the company but I was unaware of this as I suspect the company was too. Very prompt communication from very nice staff!

Like most sellers, I was concerned about putting my £7000 bike for sale on a website I had not used before. The sale to the buyer, collection, delivery etc all went perfectly. After my 30day wait for funds (regulated by the payment company) my funds didn't appear (expected on a Thursday). I read some of the other reviews and my stomach sank. I contacted My Next Bike and wrote a 1 star review here after 24hrs. However, in fairness to Matthew, he personally contacted me Monday morning to explain and sort out the payment issue. Within five minutes, my money had been paid. Mistakes happen in business, so I always judge a company on how they respond after these. Matthew was as good as his word and dealt with the issue. Hence the deserved new review.
