Rangefinder works fine. But they sign u up for a recurring charge with a "free" offer. Be wary when ordering

Bad product, hidden charges, bad customer service.
As has been reported by others here, they slip in a $29 per month ongoing charge for some sort of training. It won’t show up for a couple weeks past the date you made your purchase on your product if you’re buying the laser rangefinder. I made the purchase in February and have been going through dispute resolution for five months now. Discover card noticed the weird charges after the second one and alerted me to it. That’s when we put a stop to it. Pretty sneaky stuff. The Eagle eye performed poorly. About the only thing it would get a range on is a building. I have sent it back, I have the FedEx tracking number and delivery verification. They received it at the end of April. I’ve called and customer service says that they’ve received it, but because I’ve disputed this, it has to go to a higher office. They say they are still waiting on confirmation of return of the product, which is total crap. I already got the confirmation from them. There are a lot of merchandisers out there. I highly recommend you think about your choices. We are well into June and I still have to fight with this.

The magnet is weak quality of the rangefinder is sub par. But the worst thig about the purchase was that somehow they started charging $29.00 / month for a website that was hidden in the purchase paperwork. They will not reverse the charges. BE VERY AWARE! This company is crooked and deceitful. STAY AWAY!

I have had 2 Bushnell rangefinders over the years. I recently lost my last one at our local club and it was not returned. I heard about the Eagle Eye rangefinder and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. It is the best range finder by far that I have ever had and recommended to all my friends.

Purchased the rangefinder and it’s been a big help to my game! Will be buying again.. Thx!
CAUTION
CAUTION. Rangefinder purchase comes with a reoccurring subscription service- A $29 monthly charge. The burden is on you to cancel. My experience with customer service was the worse I have ever experienced. Credit card charges continued despite cancellation. Credit card company now investigating. I will never use this company again.

Great Purchase
Have had this range finder for over a year and have been very satisfied with it. Reasonably priced and it has been very reliable for me. Have recommended it to friends, who have loved it as well.
Good golf, great people
Good golf, great instruction and even better people to enjoy the experience together
MGS has taken four unwarranted Credit Card payments.…
The company has taken four Credit Card payments of $49.95 since January 2024 and have failed to respond to any emails.
I made a one-off purchase in 2021 but nothing since and have received no notification of a purchase or subscription.
I sent repeated emails showing the original 2023 interaction, without acknowledgement or response.
After trying numerous times to cancel via the website using the email linked to my MGS accountI I tried another email, never used for MGS, and received a cancellation acknowledgement.
Reading other reviews, I see that they lure people into subscriptions and charge if they aren't cancelled, but I did not subscribe or receive and notice that I had subscribed.

My Eagle Eye rangefinder has performed as well if not better than the top brands that cost twice as much!

Love my rangefinder and my wedges
Love my rangefinder and my wedges! Got a great deal on both and I've even had a couple buddies try them and buy some too because they liked them so much!
Hard to unsubscribe
Don't even know how I got on their list but have tried numerous times to unsubscribe to their emails. The attempt always "times out"!!
BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE
They upsell the heck out of you. Like the reviews state, the rangefinder is good it’s all the other items. For me, I couldn’t get them to stop sending me emails when I discovered that their product was benefiting the Red Chinese Government (4%~8% of items manufactured in China go to government) that have Uyghur Muslims in Concentration Camps (Google “BBC Uyghurs Boxcars”). There’s 3-4 other nations that are our Allies that make range finders.
Sadly there’s a US veteran group that supports these guys.
Update From Response: So you say it’s my opinion that the Chinese Government does not get 4%~8% from the manufacturing that is done in China and/or you say it’s my opinion that the Uyghur Muslims have been put in Camps. Why don’t you address in your response why you don’t manufacture in other nations that (India, Vietnam, Jordan, Mexico, etc) that are not our number #1 adversary? “Made in China” is your choice not my opinion.

I wish I could give zero stars
I bought a rangefinder from MGS and have no issues with the rangefinder so far. Shortly thereafter I received an email advising me of the benefits of their Loyalty Program. I responded in writing that I did not sign up for the loyalty program and they were not authorised to charge my credit card. A few weeks later I received a $29 charge on my credit card. I have now contacted the fraud department of my bank to get this resolved. This is not a reputable company.

FREE OFFER costs 9.95 plus 49.95 in hidden subscription
I responded to a free offer...just pay for shipping. Ha! I paid the 9.95 shipping for a piece of plastic with 4 plastic cylinders that get placed on the piece of plastic...the whole item would have sold in a dollar store and with USPS 2day shipping for 6.95 I would have saved $2 ...assuming I would have bought the garbage in the first place.... a couple weeks later I get a 49.95 charge for unknown reasons. I wrote them an email but no response. This business is predatory and a scam. Just shy of a bait and switch con! I'm reporting them to the FTC BBB and any other alphabet I can find, not to mention my State's IG office. They have no ethics. Stay clear!

I purchased the speed trap for my husband for Christmas. Now I find out that I also purchased a membership for videos that we haven't even seen. Buyer beware of the hidden charges with a purchase from this place. I will never purchase form them again.

Read the fine print. You may think it’s a good deal but later find additional charges and membership to their “Academy” with more charges.
