Saved having to try jump starting and then the hassle of taking it somewhere and waiting ages for a new battery to be fitted. Well worth the additional cost to have it delivered and fitted, totally stress free :)

Auto Hero definitely came to our rescue on Monday and cannot praise their service enough. My daughter had been on holiday and we were picking her up in her car on Tuesday from the airport but found that on Sunday her car would not start because the battery was flat. It completely died after a couple of attempts but also sent the electric windows down before it did!! We tried to charge the battery but did not hold any charge. Contacted Auto Hero and after speaking to a very helpful young man on Monday at 9.00 am he was with us by 11.00 am that morning. Complete with two batteries as I was not sure what battery was needed. New battery fitted up and working within about 45 minutes. Cannot recommend Auto Hero enough. Could not have been more helpful at a reasonable price and with a 3 year guarantee. Delivered, fitted and now working perfectly. So relieved for their help and quick support. Many, many thanks.

My car battery died on me recently leaving my car stuck on the road near my house. After a quick Google search I came across Auto Hero so I booked a slot online for them to come out to replace the battery for me. Booking was easy the gentleman who came was super friendly and helpful. Battery changed and car back up and running within 30 minutes. It cost £90 so a little more expensive than getting one fitted at Halfords etc but the fact that they come out to your home when you’re stranded is an absolute godsend and worth the extra. An amazing service!

Nice place with nice people

I was looking for a rather unusual battery for our hybrid Lexus. These guys made sure the correct battery was supplier and fitted. I didn't catch the name of the technician but he was professional and didn't mind answering any questions we had. After the battery was fitted he tested if the battery was getting charged and made sure the car was working as it should. Highly recommend this company! Professional and very affordable!

After receiving conflicting advice from a couple of different places, I needed a definitive answer for my car’s starting problems. I saw the reviews on Auto Hero and booked an appointment. Ross, the mechanic, arrived within the early part of the time slot booked. If you’re like me and have a limited knowledge of cars, you need to feel as though you can trust the person you are dealing with. I was soon put at ease as Ross was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

I explained the problem and Ross said he would test the old battery, and would replace it with a new one, if needed. In addition to that, he would carry out a couple of other tests to ensure everything was working as it should be. I waited while he tested the old battery, which proved to be pretty much dead, and left him to it for about ten minutes or so. When I came back, the new battery was in, the car started again, and the electronic tests carried out to make sure there were no other issues.

Not only was the service excellent, but the cost was much more reasonable that I expected. The battery including fitting was less than the cost of a battery without fitting that I had been quoted elsewhere.

All in all, I am really pleased and would absolutely recommend Auto Hero, not only for the excellent service, but also in terms of providing great value. Thanks again.

Battery was dead. They came out very efficient service.

Very efficient service. Ordered battery in the morning - fitted in the afternoon at a time chosen by me. Had to change fitting time, rang them and they altered time to suit me. I highly recommend Auto Hero.

We needed two car batteries. Ordered them at 9am, both fitted at home and working by 3pm. The batteries meet our needs: one cheaper for our older run around and a better quality for the other car. I highly recommend Auto Hero.
