I have been using MXroute for about half a year. They have good on boarding documentation and a pretty decent admin interface.

Although they have several webmail options, none worked formed so ended up going with Thunderbird for interacting with email hosted with them.

Although it may be nice if their anti-spam was a little more flexible and allowed training, but for the most part what they have works. I get very few spam emails that are not caught by the setup they have.

Their price is pretty competitive and so far have had zero issues.

So far happy with their service and would recommend.

I'd been self-hosting our email (small business and family) for about 12 years, but I'd begun to tire of the administrative drain of maintaining and updating the server, so I was looking for a simple, reliable, functional service to switch to. MXRoute seemed like a decent option at very reasonable prices, so I signed up with one of our half-dozen domains to give it a try.

It was very straightforward to set up. I ran into one issue (self-inflicted) and got a response to my support ticket within an hour or so - and what a great response it was, walking through how the issue was diagnosed and giving me clear evidence of where the problem was. Problem (a typo) fixed, and off we go.

No problems sending or receiving with the initial domain, so I set up our main domain (with a little more care over my typing!) and everything's working extremely well.

Unlike some others, I appreciate the uncompromising attitude of the guys behind the service. I want reliable email and minimal spam and that's what I'm getting.

Be aware that MXRoute assumes you grasp the basics of how to obtain and configure your domain for email - it's not a service that provides support for beginners. With a little research and some acre, that ought not to be a challenge for most people, but it's worth knowing that you're expected to take responsibility for managing your domains and accounts. If you are, the benefit you'll get is great service, and worry-free email. And, in my case, pretty much admin-free email, after the initial setup.

One other point to note, as you'll see if you look at the 1-star reviews - MXRoute tales no prisoners when it comes to spammers. Don't waste your time or theirs of that means you

I love love love the no mailbox or domains limitations… and the reliability, UI, pricing, and migration tool are all amazing. Support is great, but I’ve rarely needed it.

Awesome service for what you pay. I've used MXRoute for a little over a year and have had no issues at all. Service and support have been great. Comparing what you get from their competitors nothing comes close in terms of price.

Don't let the few "bad" reviews taint your opinion on MXRoute - they are very strict on their policies for a GOOD reason - to keep the abusers & spammers OUT!

I've been a MXRoute customer for over 2 years with zero issues. Jarland is very helpful when needed.

Never had any issues related to sending or receiving emails - the way they have DirectAdmin setup keeps management very simple/straightforward & their prices are very reasonable (honestly cheap).

10/10 recommend MXRoute for all your email needs.

I love MXRoute, the prices are really GREAT, the performance is excellent, they allow you to create unlimited accounts and use unlimited domains, and emails don’t go to spam. Excellent service, I’m really happy!

I'm not very experienced in email things. I've been hosting my own email server for multiple years, but it's expensive and unreliable. Also, it's hard to support the domain reputation. The team begging mxroute is so friendly, they helped me in my whole way of migration, documentation is nice too and, as far as I can see, my email is actually delivered better.
They also have very strict rules for marketing emails, which I like

While described as dry and tough, mxroute as a service has been excellent, 100% runtime, support on time and dry. I have great respect and esteem for mxroute and jarland being approachable

I run a website company and having to get clients to sign up for Gmail or Microsoft was always too closely then I discovered MX Route and never looked back. Currently have 4 accounts and have multiple clients I have referred to purchase their own. Their no bull policy is incredible protecting an amazing set up fight against the big boys that take advantage of people and their wallets

No bullsh*t. Just straight up email for technical people. If you dont know how to read or too lazy to make things right, then this ain't for you.

Its not your typical email (like google and outlook). You should definitely be using email clients like Thunderbird or their Webmail.

Been using this for a year now, really good, no spam, good reputation IPs and most importantly super affordable!

Jarland and the community are very helpful!
The pricing is absolutely fair, especially given their service.
Jarland is very honest about his motivations and why some policies exist.
Can't talk much about the technical side, it just works super reliable - nothing more to say.

that enough adjectives for you? anyways, he uses these massive honkers -- i mean, muscles, to crush spammers and keep my mail sending flawlessly
