We honestly cannot praise Divya Weerasinghe enough for everything she did to help us complete on both our house sale and purchase.
Admittedly, we didn’t start our Muve journey with Divya, but we so wish we had! We feel incredibly lucky to have closed both our cases with her and are so grateful for the way she handled everything.
Divya was absolutely faultless. She kept on top of all the stakeholders, chased when things needed chasing, applied pressure to other solicitors when necessary, and kept everyone accountable and moving things forward. At every stage, we felt like someone was genuinely on our side and fighting our corner.
Buying and selling a house can be a gruelling, stressful and sometimes frustrating experience, so having Divya there made such a huge difference. It was genuinely relieving to know that things were being dealt with and that nothing was going to slip through the cracks.

Poor communication and set up process
We paid for the services and was told we would receive our login details. We urgently needed our login details and reference so our estate agent could issue the memorandum of Sale so we could reserve our new house. As we hadn't received our login within a few days, we called the advisor we had been dealing with but there was no answer, we left several messages and we were not called back. The answering system didn't tell us another number to call or say the advisor was on leave so we were waiting for a call back. In the end we emailed and got an out of office reply. The advisor should have told us they wouldn't be there, there should have been someone picking up messages at MuVe or the calls should have been redirected or a message to redirect to another number. We received no details of who to contact in the advisors absence. So we have now cancelled. Feel really disappointed as this was a time critical moment for us. Poor communication is not something you want from a conveyancer when you are dealing with one of the most stressful things in life.

We are very happy with the service and would definitely recommend Muve. The whole process took 10 weeks as first time buyers purchasing probate property.
Heshani was lovely, very helpful and happy to explain and guide us through the process. She was quick to respond and efficient. We were so happy to work with her. Keshni and kasuni were our conveyors and they were efficient and helpful through the legal process, they did everything they said they would and in excellent time. We could always get hold of our Muve Team whenever we rang and that really helped the process be speedy and reassured us that things were moving as fast as they could.

I’ll leave a totally candid review based on my experience solely with Muve. We went with Muve as the price was good via the Halifax. I did see some of the few 1 star reviews Muve have and was a little anxious at first that things might get slowed up or that the communication would be bad as they are based in Sri Lanka. Halifax assured us if anything was slow they could hurry things along. Things turned out well for us and in a reasonable time frame and we have now completed. Our account manager Ethan was a gem-friendly, polite, attentive and on the ball for us throughout. The conveyacer Devon, I imagine has quite a heavy caseload but was great when things needed to be expedited to keep all parties happy around exhange. He was likewise v friendly and polite. Thanks to you both. We are chuffed to now be homeowners!
