Muista is a home office furniture design brand behind the original Muista chair concept. Founded in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2017 by designer Aurimas Lažinskas and his cousin Gytis Staras, Muista's aim is to change the approach of long sitting at work desks, to encourage flexibility and movement and make sitting a more enjoyable experience.
Introduced for the first time at the Habitare 2018 design fair in Helsinki, Finland, Muista achieved big interest and positive feedback, both from health professionals and members of the public. Since then it was successfully showcased at various design fairs including Cologne (IMM), Paris (Maison & Objet), Vienna, Zürich, Hamburg (Blickfang), and sold the Muista ergonomic desk chair to hundreds of happy customers.

Well-made chair
The chair is excellent - well-made and very pleasant for sitting. Looks sharp too. Shipping took longer than expected and caused some complications, but nothing we couldn't sort out.

Muista rocking office chair
The rocking office chair arrived quickly and was well (efficiently) packed. We got the version with wood and wool.
It's a very nice experience to sit on, and is often used in our house when we have the feeling we've been sitting 'motionless' for too long and our back is tired. Finally, the wool seat looks great.

The Muista chair has a minimalist design and is excellent for staying active during office hours. I’m very pleased with its aesthetics and comfort.
It takes a little time to adjust, but once you do, it’s great!

Great Experience
My order was handled in a fast, friendly, and professional way. I had made a mistake when placing the order online. So I emailed the company and they adjusted my order right away (without any additional information from me, issues, or string of emails back and forth). It was amazing, functional, customer service!
The shipment itself was packaged with great care, so there was no damage despite it travelling so far.
The product inside is beautiful and my posture at my desk has improved significantly.
I am very pleased with the purchase of a Muista chair.

Worth the (slight) wait
It took a little while to arrive in Ireland, but the stool was very well packaged, easy to assemble, and has been a massive hit. Very good communication.
