This was my first time selling a car this way, so was a tad reticent. However after being lowballed by my main dealer I took the plunge. The process was simple start to finish. And the contact at moto... See more

Excellent photograph guidance
Excellent photograph guidance, simple process of listing and seamless interaction with the dealership who purchased my Fiat 500. Thank you.
Quick, efficient way of selling your car
Very straightforward app, easy to use. Pricing of my car was very competitive and Motorway achieved a small premium.
Handover process was efficient and easy.
Second car I have sold on Motorway and would thoroughly recommend.
Great service and stress free
Great customer service. App very easy to use. Added car on the Saturday and sold the next day. Funds in account as soon as buyer gave the ok. Straight forward sale. Would highly recommend Motorway.
Curates egg some good some bad
Liked the helpful way the staff tried to sort out the issues didn’t like the never ending hurdles that seemed to be there
Extremely poor
Extremely poor. The best offer they came up with for my Ford Focus was £1,400. Two weeks later I’d sold it for £2,700 on Facebook Marketplace. I would never consider using Motorway to sell a car ever again. You will likely be offered less than half the true market value for your car despite what they promise initially. Avoid like the plague.

Motorway made it so easy to use the online auction to sell my car. It was much easier than selling it privately.

Maybe too many e/mails?

Very fast & efficient service with plenty of communication and advice on how best to sell my car. Happy with the results, payment was within minutes. This is the second time I have used Motorway and would definitely recommend them.
Used Motorway to sell my car
Used Motorway to sell my car, it was really easy to use the App and the communication was really good.
My car sold within 24hours. I received an email from the buyer to arrange collection.
North Park motors were a pleasure to deal with, arrived to view and collect car, made it very straightforward and payment was made to my account immediately. All DVLA paperwork was completed online and would highly recommend to anyone considering selling their car.
Well done Motorway and NorthPark motors.
Worse experience ever
Worse experience ever! Motorway are only interested in getting their fee. There is no protection for the seller. We had declared everything accurately as required. We had an offer from a dealer that was sort of decent. When he arrived he started saying the seems to be a problem with the clutch as "it releases too high", and also a small oil leak, and he wanted to knock off £1300 off the price he bidded, which was £2750! Of course there was absolutely no indication about these "problems" he invented. The car was serviced and MOT'ed less than a month ago, there was absolutely no problem with it. Also we are not car mechanics, we couldn't have possibly known about these. We did the annual service and MOT and we're assured that all is well. So I challenged the dealer and called Motorway to confirm that since we had declared everything accurately to the best of our knowledge the dealer can't negotiate the price, as per their terms. They said that this is true only when pushed too hard, and kept saying that if I am not happy I don't need to accept the offer, and they would tell me next steps to release the car. In the meantime I negotiated heavily with the dealer and agreed on a price reduction of £400 instead of £1300 that he had originally proposed, which proves by itself that the problems he was suggesting were simply untrue, he was just trying to rip me off.
When I checked my emails after he left and the transaction was completed, I saw that he had declared the "problems" to Motorway and Motorway where saying that if I didn't want to accept the offer and wanted to put the car back on auction I had to upload an invoice proving that they are fixed, or get a health check from a garage stating that there are no problems, ie a lot of extra money for nothing and delay.
This whole thing felt like blackmail. A random dealer wins the auction, then comes and invents some problems to reduce the bidded price in half of what he bid, and Motorway allow him to declare all that and leave you with no options to officially challenge them unless you spend an awful lot of money and time. They don't offer any real protection to the sellers, they are structured to allow the dealers to play tricks to the sellers and are only interested in getting their fee. They were most unhelpful on the phone. If there "problems" were real as the dealer was claiming and he would have to spend a lot of money to "fix them" he wouldn't have agreed to buy the car at £2300 in the end!
I don't recommend it to anyone!
The process is good and well guided
The process is good and well guided. The final outcome was let down by the buyer - who motorway claimed was approved but when the driver who came to pick up the car tried to contact him, his phone just went to voicemail. Motorway then just said 'reschedule the pick up ' - which is a disaster for the driver who's stranded at my house with no way of getting to his next pick up.

The process was easy and I was kept up to date with everything.
The process was fairly simple
The process was fairly simple. Once questions were answered and photos taken and examined and the auction complete a price agreed. Unfortunately there was the usual disingenuous haggling over cost thst plagues the car industry. However once a final price was agreed rhe sum was paid into the bank and the car finally sold.
Excellent process with clear and…
Excellent process with clear and concise information from start to finish. The buyer, Corner House garage, were spot on as well, giving me a little time to get alternative arrangements in to place before they collected the car. Obviously not something you do very often, but would definitely use again should the need arise.
Very easy to use app
Very easy to use app, step by step guidance makes listing your car a breeze. Offered a much better price than the trade in value at the dealership.

A very easy and professional process for such a potentially stressful situation. I will and have already recommended Motorway to my friends and family for their fair prices and top tier service .

I was told to use motorway by a friend who had used it as it was super simple and a lot easier than selling private but you still get a decent price for your car.
I uploaded everything and got an estimated price and then was able to verifying my documentation before the sale. I actually declined an offer after I had originally accepted it as I had found more service history. This was really simple and motorway helped with it instead of making me feel like I had done something wrong.
I accepted the 2nd auction offer and had £35 knocked off on pick up just because of an engine cover I forget had a crack in it. But because I had declared everything properly no other money was taken off.
The buyer was super lovely and I can’t believe how easy and quickly I was able to sell my car and got the price I wanted for it!
Would definitely use again!
