Very impressed with how easy the purchase was and staff were good at making you feel comfortable. Only negative is that you won't negotiate on price which i feel will put people off. I couldn't even get free mats which would have been something.

I purchased my car on the 22/07/2025
I purchased my car on the 22/07/2025. Everything was fine and I paid in full.
Since then I have had two outstanding problems.
a) defective car mats.
b) 2nd key not working.
Five emails and no response from Motorpoint.
Promised a refund by the mat manufacturers, never arrived.
Key, I was told that I would need to sort it out.

Disapointed with Motorpoint Quality Control
I bought a car from Motorpoint in Potsmouth and they were very good until it came to the car handover. A few days before I picked the car up they said the car would be fully valeted, quality checked with no warning lights including the low fuel light. When I collected the car it was in a dimly lit collection bay and it wasn't until I drove away I realised the seats were filthy and had not been cleaned. Also, the fuel light was on and there was only 25 miles of fuel in the car and a slow puncture on the rear right tyre. I have spoken and emailed them about this, but have not had any response a week later. I am very disapointed as their website video says all cars are checked and cleaned and much more. Make sure you thouroughly check the vehicle you buy in daylight before accepting it as they don't do what they promise.

Tried to sell my sister a car that was clearly faulty. Sent her out on a test drive when the tracking and brakes were faulty. Apologised and promised to get repaired before purchasing. Lack of communication from them ultimately lead to us pulling out of the deal.
