Not the best communication from Imogen as had to chase a couple times then eventually got ignored- i had to contact motor moolah directly to get a collection booked in but after that I was paid out my guaranteed price that was given to me before collection so overall I am happy

Selling a car for a good price
Very good communications by email and WhatsApp. Received the price agreed within an hour of car being examined by their rep. Car was not taken nor V5C or keys handed over until money was in my bank. Good service all round. Why not 5 stars? Repeated emails after price agreed asking me to telephone to agree the price. Something in their app needs a tweak? Otherwise, highly recommended.

Timewasters using Ai
Wasted my time after sending me umpteen texts and knowing EXACTLY what I wanted to sell AND ringing and speaking to staff member... my car doesn't " meet their criteria ". Perhaps tell your staff and BOTS that ! Stop messing people about. Your staff member even made a derogatory comment about another car buying service ! Pot kettle black !

Imogen was a fantastic help in selling our car. She was quick, efficient and offered us the best price possible. She guaranteed our price after we sent all photos of the car with any defects. Payment was sent to our account in rapid time. Could not recommend Carmoolah more. They also paid us to travel and drop the car off

DIDNT KEEP THE PRICE PROMISE
I found the initial process slick and efficient. Sent lots of photos. When I spoke to them, they assured me the locked in price was guaranteed, and unless there’s was “a massive dent “ in the car I would receive the offered price. They assured me they didn’t operate like CARWOW or WE SELL ANY CAR etc.
When they came to collect my car they offered me £1000 less, citing low brake fluid and a minuscule chip in windscreen, which was almost impossible to see with a naked eye.
I was then having to negotiate, despite initial assurances that this wouldn’t happen.
I ended up accepting £700 less than agreed price.
2 days later I see my car for sale at their garage for over £2000 more than what they paid me.
It left me with a bitter taste. Especially as they kept saying they didn’t operate like others.
EDIT- DESPITE THEIR REPLY TO THIS REVIEW , WHEN I DID REACH OUT TO THEM AS REQUESTED THEY TOTALLY IGNORED MY EMAILS. THEIR REPLY WAS FOR SHOW ONLY AND NOT SINCERE. THEY HAD NO INTENTION OF RESOLVING THE ISSUE

After getting a really poor part…
After getting a really poor part exchange value from the bmw main dealer, I went on Google and motor moolah was one of the best prices that came back from sending my photos of the vehicle, I was contacted by Ben who confirmed from the photos provided the price provided was what I would get,a date was set for pickup and the pickup person took some more photos and test drove it to check everything was OK, within 5 minutes the money was in my account and better still a few quid better off than staying with the main dealer for part ex would highly recommend 👍

Polite and trustworthy
I was a bit wary at first as hadn't heard or deal with this company before.
Dealt with Ben. He communicated everything nicely , the portal to upload docs all worked well and they arrived next day and paid what they offered.
I think if you have described your car accurately and it has no major issues you'll be fine.
