Thank you,Iulia, for sorting some very complex arrangements with my motorhome rental in New Zealand after I found that the ferry between the North Island and the South Island was completely booked out. Iulia was completely invested in helping me, even using her day off to make sure all the paperwork and arrangements were sorted before my rental commenced to ensure that I could get a refund (which I received). Iulia could not have been more helpful and professional and ensured that my husband and I had a brilliant motorhome experience in New Zealand.

We booked and paid in full for a campervan 6 months in advance of our trip to NZ. We had a week in the North Island before picking up the van in Christchurch. 2 days before our pick up date the van was cancelled. It was at this point we discovered that Motorhome Republic had booked the van with a company called Kiwi Campers. Both indicated to us that we had initiated the cancellation.After we made it clear that we had not initiated a cancellation, Kiwi Campers (KC) then said there was a fault with the van and it was unsafe to drive!! To add stress to the whole situation KCwere not at all interested in helping to locate another van. Motorhome Republic did refund our money immediately and attempted to locate another van but were unsuccessful. When checking through reviews of both companies it was clear that Kiwi Campers are very unreliable and as such I question why Motorhome Republic continue to use this company. Motorhome Republic Reviews are varied. Overall we will not be using either company again and will not be recommending them to any of our family and friends wanting to camp and drive around NZ.

My emails are answered promptly even though some confusion as to why pick up and drop off changes Heathrow then Shephalbury Park back the Heathrow now it's Shephalbury Park again, truly hope we don't end up in the wrong place because Shephalbury Park is not so easy to get to!

I am very disappointed with my experience with Motorhome Republic.
I originally booked a 6-person motorhome. After requesting a change of dates, I was assured by the rental supplier that they could still provide a 6-person vehicle. However, when we arrived for check-in, we were given a 4-person motorhome instead.
This created a serious problem for our group, as we had specifically booked accommodation for six people. At no point did I agree to downgrade the vehicle size — I only requested a change of dates. Being told one thing in advance and receiving something completely different upon arrival is simply unacceptable.
What is also concerning is how Motorhome Republic handled the situation. As a third-party platform that earns a percentage of the booking, they upheld the supplier’s position and rejected my refund request, rather than objectively reviewing the facts. It raises the question of how impartial such a decision can truly be.
Overall, the lack of accountability, transparency, and customer support has left me extremely dissatisfied. I would strongly advise future customers to double-check everything in writing and be cautious when making changes, as support in resolving disputes may not be as fair as expected.

Booked through this company for our trip to perth and was supplied a camper van of which wasnt the same as what we paid for from Indie Campers
should of had one with two double beds already made but got one with only one and had to keep making the other up.
after two days this broke down and we was stranded for two days in a car park, we was then picked up by tow truck and had to endure 6 hour journey back to get replacement of which only slept two people so had to buy a tent for my daughter and boyfriend.
we got 135AUD compensation from indie campers for loss of holiday, no refund for difference in campers.
we was offered 574AUD from indie after much complaining but never received it.
motor home republic havent been any help chasing this and they offered 250AUD but weve never recieved that either, we are so dissapointed that companies can treat people like this.
i have now had to try and claim through credit card company.
please beware that these people take your money then simply dont care, zero customer support

Due to a loss of employment, I had to cancel my booking on very short notice.
I was refunded my full deposit and handled with compassion and kindness in a circumstance where I really needed it.
I will definitely be booking through Motorhome Republic again should I get the chance to book NZ again.

Betty was able to answer all my questions, find the perfect vehicle for right dates that i had and give me personal peace about making a booking thru this company.
So refreshing to deal with a company that has a customer service phone line that is answered promptly and a real and helpful human to interact with. This is literally why i booked my motorhome thru them because of this interaction.
In future, i will not deal with a company that uses bots or chats as a means to customer service. You are losing business.

I requested a camper van which was in the older vehicle category and what I was offered was a battered rusty van with no hub caps from Kiwi Campers. When I refused to accept the van in its dreadful condition I was offered an upgrade to a van which was marginally better but I was charged an additional amount for this. The service from Kiwi Campers was unacceptable and I alerted Motorhome Republic that their service standards could be compromised by using Kiwi Campers. The reply I had from Motorhome Republic showed more concern with covering up the issue rather than dealing with it and I was disappointed with their response. I therefore have to advise potential customers not to rely on this company or Kiwi Campers but look for a more reliable service.
Since I submitted my concern to Motorhome Republic they have given me a refund of the additional cost of changing the camper van with Kiwi Campers. I have further pointed out to them that Kiwi campers are not a company they should use because of their shoddy vans and very poor customer service.I would advise any potential customer of Motorhome Republic to make sure they haven’t hired the van they are going to use from Kiwi Campers.
