Moto wetherby 2 hour parking

An absolute disgrace of a company. having stoped at this services multiple times I had never noticed the 2 hour free parking sign until it was too late.I can only imagine that it is a tiny sign to try catch people out. The first I knew about it was a £170 parking fine from another company on behalf of moto. Having emailed moto to try resolve the issue they were as useless as can be and could not care less. I was on the premises spending money so it’s not as if they lost out with me been parked there. They charge £15 for 24hr parking which I would have paid had i knew I was over but as i said I didn’t even notice any signs about how long you can stay, how they think it’s acceptable to use a scumbag company that charges £170 for been over by 20 minutes is disgusting. I only wish I could give this company 0 stars as that’s what they deserve.

moto services are probably the worst of…

moto services are probably the worst of all UK services. Lancaster being perhaps THE worst. They are even more overpriced than all the other terrible services and thier selection of food is a joke. The truck bays are constantly full of vans and caravans. The place is filthy and the staff are miserable, not surprising considering where they work. I avoid Lancaster and all moto services and advise everyone else to do the same. You WILL regret stopping at moto

Costa Coffee Filthy

Chieveley Services at Newbury (M4). The Costa Coffee restaurant area floor and tables were filthy. Although drinking/eating in, drinks were in paper cups with no explanation or notice to explain why the porcelain cups weren't in use. The lady serving drinks was the most miserable member of staff and not suitable for a customer facing duty.

Parking "Fine" despite spending £100s on food and fuel

Our driver stopped for lunch and bought food and a full tank of diesel. They were delayed, queuing for diesel, and left the service area after 2 hrs 20 minutes, for which the registered keeper received a threatening letter after 2 months had elapsed. Moto's response was to say tough, rules is rules. We are now making sure we warn everyone across the UK to watch out for Moto and their sneaky practices.

Disgusting petrol price gouging during cost of living crisis

Unfortunately I can't give zero or negative stars. Stopped on M74 yesterday, won't ever be stopping again - disgustingly dirty, and petrol prices that will make your eyes water at 30% over average. Maybe Moto hasn't noticed that there's a cost of living crisis going on? Disgusting to see this kind of price gouging.

Update: I asked Moto's CEO, Ken McMeikan (who outsources customer questions to ChatGPT) about petrol prices. His chatbot let me know that it is Moto who set the petrol prices, and not the petrol companies.

When I asked how Moto's petrol prices fit with Moto's stated COMPANY VALUES (Think Customer, Do The Right Thing, Us Before Me, Give Back) the chatbot immediately ended the conversation.

Looks like the most important company values for Moto are Set The Bar High (for petrol prices) and Revel In What We Do (profiteering in a cost-of-living crisis).

Toddington services Southbound M1

Toddington services Southbound M1 - not somewhere we will visit again. Filthy tables, floors and toilets, overflowing bins, and it took half an hour to get food at KFC. The place is woefully understaffed and we will avoid Moto in future.

Applied for a position at one of there sites no - feedback no email. Contacted recruitment to complain about poor communication to applicant. Very apologetic said they would get back to me- nope nothing absolutely appalling Company a lucky escape if you ask me avoid if you need a position???

Don’t waste your time going, especially if you’re dying to go to the toilet

Visited the new Moto services at M6 Jcn 1 near Rugby. Nice new building, but could not have been designed worse if they’d tried. First you need to use about a gallon of fuel to get into the services down the very long service roads from the motorway exit island. How long do they expect the queues to be?

Secondly, for anyone who is not very mobile, they’ve put the toilets at the farthest end of the building from the entrance. This is an absolute farce. They put it there so you have to pass all the food outlets on the way, in the hope that you succumb to the vastly inflated prices as they’ve got a captive audience.

Shan’t be going there again.

SCAM Parking charges

My wife and I visited Leeds so she could sit an exam. We used Ferrybridge services, once at 8:03am (on way to Leeds) and then at 11:20am (on our return). Just received a 'Parking Charge Notice' that I stayed in the car park from 8:03am till 11:45am when I was clearly in Leeds and have photo and parking charge (Ringgo) evidence. Where are the pictures of my car leaving Ferrybridge at 8:30 and then entering again at around 11:20am???

These people (CPPlus & Moto-Way) are clearly using tactics to scam money from people for car parking.

MOTO PROFITEERING AT GRANTHAM

Blatant profiteering at the BP petrol station at Grantham, a couple of miles north on the A1, esso is 26 PENCE CHEAPER per litre than at the service station! What an absolute rip off, no wonder it was empty. Moto should be ashamed of themselves trying to charge the public those prices

Fueled up at Moto Exeter north and the pump areas inc the pumps & hoses were filthy and generally run down.
Staff were simply unconcerned when pointed out with a could not care less attitude

Hunt The Half Decent Toilet Cubicle

MOTO services Toddington South. Toilet facilities are never above a bare minimum level of acceptability. Today I had to enter and leave 8 cubicles before I found one that had an unblocked loo, lockable door, toilet roll, relatively dry floor.The "management" (if it exists) never seem to have heard of repairs so, just to help them, it's when you use some of the company profits to get broken things fixed for your customers. To crown it, the first sink I went to wash my hands in - no water!! Feel sorry for the staff, I can opt not to use this depressing place, they have to put up with it day in, day out. Just hope they have separate staff loos.

I would just like to say a big thank…

I would just like to say a big thank you to the Staff at the KFC. It's so easy to criticise and they dont get paid well and have to put up with such a lot. They have had to put up with a crowd of totally disrespectful people 15/5/22 3.0 pm. Was glad to see the back of them myself. Dregs of humanity. But thanks for what you do.
