I never signed up to their marketing…

I never signed up to their marketing mailing list, they took my email to send me the receipt when I paid in store. I think this practice is not legal in Germany?

Love is in the air?

-Great products.
-Good transparant communication.
-Fast international delivery.
-Well packed/protected products.

However: these are Valentine presents so I need to wait another 7 days to know if this year’s ‘project’ is meeting expectations…..

Fast service, lovely plates

Bought a full set of 32 plates, they arrived in time - all lovely and in good condition except one that arrived broken, even though it was perfectly packed. They were super fast in replacing it with no extra cost. I ordered a matching jar shortly after as I was happy with the quality and service.

Not the quality I imagined

I ordered a set of four mugs from this company. After receiving the confirmation email, nothing happened for a week. I had to email them to ask when my order would be shipped, and only then did they begin the shipping process. Did they forget about it? I don’t know, but I was just happy my mugs were finally on their way.

When they arrived, they looked nice. I washed them by hand to be careful, as I didn’t want to damage my new €20-per-piece mugs. Unfortunately, it didn’t matter—two out of the four cracked the first time I poured hot water into them! I couldn’t believe it. For this price, I expected better quality.

I contacted Motel a Miio, hoping for replacements, but they told me that wasn’t possible and instead refunded half the price of the set. I considered ordering two more to complete my set, but at €50 (including shipping), I didn’t want to risk receiving another defective mug.

Overall, I’m disappointed and won’t be purchasing from them again.

This is a scam

This is a scam. They send wrong broken things, dont reply on mail and wont compensate. We have tried everything and if they dont reply within a week we Call out a lawyer

High-Quality Products & Excellent Customer Service

High-quality products, really happy. What stood out was the customer experience. I messaged Marco from the Customer Support team that some of the plates were broken during the transport. Within 30 minutes, I received a response, their apologies and confirmation that they would send me new ones. This is exceptional - I can highly recommend ordering with Motel a Miio.

Many items were broken when received

Beautiful plates and bowls ordered online for almost 1000 euro’s all together. However from a 40-piece set I received 5 broken big plates, 5 broken pasta plates, 2 broken breakfast plates and 1 broken mini plate. Hope this will be solved soon because not happy at all at this moment.

Terrible customer service!

I recently ordered a set that looked stunning on the website: white plates with many (many!!) small brown dots. What I received, however, was completely different: basically a white set with a small brown dot here and there. The overall look and feel is totally different from what is advertised on the website. While I understand that handmade products can have slight variations, this was far beyond that. Even the staff in the store were shocked when I showed them one of the plates. Unfortunately, they couldn’t help me so I reached out to the website’s customer service.

The company refused to acknowledge the issue, dismissing it as “optical deviations”. Despite my efforts to explain that the difference is significant and misleading, they insisted I pay for the return shipping - which costs more than the set itself. I feel misled by false advertising and let down by their lack of accountability. If the online advertisement also showed photos of plates with only a few dots, I would’ve never ordered this set. But it doesn’t.

I would NOT recommend ordering from Motel A Miio unless you’re prepared for significant discrepancies and poor customer service when issues arise.

Do not use if ordering abroad

Do not ever buy anything online to ship abroad with this company. I ordered a 24 piece set and had to pay very large customs charges. I checked and the website does say this might happen but it is not clear enough. 3 of the items were then broken and I have sent 3 emails and I am being ignored. Terrible customer service.

Absolutely catastrophic Service

Absolutely catastrophic service.
My order had already been dispatched with a long delay. The shipment then got stuck at customs and was returned (for an unknown reason). However, I never received a message from Motel a Miio but the shipment was marked as "Delivered". I always received a quick response from the support team, but they were very uncooperative.
I am now supposed to place a new order, pay again and hope that the shipment will be delivered this time. I don't think anything more needs to be said about the original delivery time since my first order. However, this was of little interest to the support manager and was skillfully ignored. When I asked why my return could not simply be triggered again to save time and effort and to be customer-friendly, I was simply told that this was not possible. I am very disappointed with Hotel a Miio and cannot recommend the online store to anyone. The products are and remain very beautiful and worthwhile, but only if you buy them in a store, avoid the online store.

Beautiful but no good quality

The mugs are beautiful and nice to use, but quality didn't last me for more than six months. When I poured in hot water to make a cup of tea, the cup cracked. I contacted the Motel a Miio team, and they said it was due because of a thermal shock. I never put the mugs in the dishwasher and take very well care of them. I took the mug out of my cupboard and poured in the hot water. That should not put in a thermal shock. Really disappointed, loved using them because they are a nice size and they look beautiful. But unfortunately..

Bellisimo! Best cups I have ever had!

My cups just arrived and they are gorgeous. Despite a little long delivery - I ordered on the 26th of September and the delivery arrived on the 9th of October I am giving it 5 stars and I would give it more because I LOVE IT! I have been looking at different ones in shop and they feel perfect. The weight, how they feel when you hold it, shape and design. Well done! I will be baying a lot more from you.
