We are really pleased (and relieved) that we chose Morguard for our Level 3 home buyers’ survey, and would 100 per cent recommend them. Our surveyor, Krystal, was really diligent and thorough in her work, and spotted several potential major issues with the house we planned to buy that had been masked by a recent renovation. Thanks to her care and professionalism, we’ve avoided walking into a purchase that could have ended up costing us a huge amount of time and money that we hadn’t bargained for. While it’s not the outcome we wanted, the survey was definitely money well spent and Krystal was really considerate and helpful in explaining the implications of the issues she identified to us. We hope we will find our new home soon and when we think we have, we will have no hesitation in using Morguard again. Right from the quote to the final report and phone call to go through the issues in detail they have been easy to reach and a pleasure to deal with, explaining difficult issues to us with patience and friendliness.

Absolutely excellent! We have found the buying & selling process very stressful with so many different professionals involved but this element was a breeze! That is thanks to Rosanna and her welcoming and super efficient approach - she explained the process, she booked us in quickly, liaised with our estate agent and everything went ahead so smoothly from commission to reporting. We got a detailed survey report which showed extreme attention to detail, lots of images and explanations soon after the survey. Even our sellers who were present at the survey contacted us to tell us that the surveyor -Gianni- was extremely thorough and very pleasant - they wished they had known about Morguard before they had done their survey! I was very impressed with every step of the process with Morguard. Very clear, ultimate professionals and very fair. Buying a property is exciting but finding potential flaws is daunting. The report was clear, extremely thorough and offered solutions to all potential problems. Morguard made it feel a lot less scary and manageable. Their customer service and out of hours availability was amazing too. Highly recommend.

Thank you to the Morguard Team! Rosanna sorted out our requests and Guy did a thorough job on our survey. A pre survey telephone call was helpful and then a call on the day of the survey to update us on how it went. Followed by an in-depth written report a few days later. Would highly recommend Morguard who gave us a pain free experience to what can be a stressful time.

Morguard have helped us with a level 3 survey on two separate occasions in less than a year - unfortunately our first house purchase didn't work out when the vendors were very inflexible post-survey, but now we seem to be well on the way to completing on a much-preferred house and we owe so much of this to Morguard, who provided an excellent and great value service on both occasions. Rosanna is extremely efficient and friendly in communicating with us to organise, and Gianni is just wonderful - providing us with a call pre-and post survey to put us at ease, as well as the full report which he is happy to answer any queries on however extensive. He is so approachable and could not have been more patient, clear, helpful and reassuring. We have created an account to leave this review and cannot recommend Morguard Building Surveyors enough. We had a level 3 survey carried out by Morguard on the 3 bedroom house we are currently purchasing. We chose them due to their numerous high reviews and because the quote for a level 3 survey was very reasonable. Thank you Rosana for your prompt responses, information and general great customer service.

We received a phone call a few days prior to the survey which allowed us to provide our areas of concern. We then received an extended call late afternoon the same day of the survey to talk through the findings. Can we thank Guy sincerely for going above and beyond during this call by taking the time to also look into and advise regarding something that was found during our buyer's survey of our property, which coincidently was taking place the same day. This was not part of the service we paid for yet he did it anyway and gave us great reassurance.

Despite its heavy content, the report was completed in time for the bank holiday weekend which was appreciated. The report is clear and comprehensive and has allowed us to go forward knowing exactly what will need attention and how quickly/urgently.

I've had a few surveys before but Morguard is definitely the best so far! Rosanna was super helpful in arranging things and informing me at each step. My surveyor Krystal was another angel, who was super kind, very careful in her work, and explained to me everything that I needed. When I needed to call her afterward for a specific issue, she took all the time to ensure I fully understood all the technical details. I recommend Morguard and the brilliant people there to anyone who needs the best service.

We used Morguard's services based on reviews we found online, and were not disappointed. They were prompt, professional, and polite through the entire process. We truly appreciated Guy's expertise and patience walking us through the report for a flat in a Victorian era house. Faultless service from start to finish. Morguard gave us a truly bespoke service, and our surveyor was extremely generous with his time going well above expectations to explain the report and answer our many questions. He is clearly very knowledgeable. 10/10.

We could not be happier with our experience with Morguard Surveyors, particularly with our Surveyor Guy Abbott and Rosanna Quaglieri who are an absolute joy to work with who help set this up as their operations manager. We contacted no less than 27 companies in total for a L3 RICS Building Survey. We had phone calls with 8 of them. Rosanna was highly responsive, informative, flexible and truly went out of her way to understand our requirements. No question was too small or too big and every query gave us reassurance it was the right team. This is when she recommended Guy Abbott. Guy is phenomenal as a surveyor. This is because he actually has passion for what he does, and leaves no stone unturned. This might be the best money we have spent since starting our search. Guy has an uncanny ability to treat every property like a crime scene (in a good way). He was able to uncover issues (post renovation) and areas that we did not necessarily see in several visits. Guy is very patient, he explains concepts well and he took at least an hour before our survey and then was happy to speak and also answered several questions in significant depth. These were full of recommendations, a breakdown of technical terms and also pragmatic suggestions. It was not 'wishy washy cover my backside responses' we have seen from other surveyors, but actually thoughtful guidance that allows us to establish a pragmatic and positive path forward. The cherry on the cake is that Guy really understands period properties. He knows a significant amount on construction, techniques, areas to watch out for and was happy to give us more than value added advice in the process. Needless to say, this has given us a seriously comprehensive report and out of 13 sample reports we read, he was one of the only ones (bar maybe one other) that actually circles his photos and goes the extra mile to surface issues including investigating areas on the roof/loft which we had flagged concerns for. He was also happy to recommend other professionals that we could investigate for areas that we needed further attention for. Rosanna also quickly posted and gave us additional recommendations from her network and was able to turn this report around in lightning speed time.  The actual list of items and remedial repairs were not inflated, and if anything have been realistic to the fees we would expect for remedy. If we could give 6*s we would, and would not hesitate to recommend Morguard, Rosanna or Guy to anyone looking for both reassurance and pragmatism on one of their most significant purchases they may have to do in a lifetime.

I had a very tight window to do the survey and Morguard really worked hard to accommodate this.

As with the previous survey, it was detailed and comprehensive. I appreciate the way they use lots of photos to explain any issues. Easier for a lay person to understand!

Buying property is such a stressful experience and my experience of Morguard has been that they actually alleviate some of that, with clear and comprehensive communication. Simply put, you know what you are buying!

Gianni took time to explain some problem areas with the property and I feel much more comfortable proceeding as a result. I know the issues and can put in place a plan of work, knowing which areas are more urgent to address. Gives me far more peace of mind.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Morguard to friends and family. Thorough, professional and overall, an excellent experience.
