I have used Morguard three times now. The first time, my surveyor was Gianni, who went absolutely above and beyond – he managed to arrive when there was a bit of a flood (of wastewater, so especially pleasant) happening in the property and, wait for it, tried to stop the flood with his hands! He then produced not only a very detailed report but also a very long, reassuring and somewhat therapeutic phone chat to me and my husband. I was upset to learn that I was assigned another surveyor, Jack, on a different occasion, but he was also very thorough (luckily no need to stop waste water in that property), and on the third occasion Tom was equally thorough in his report and considerate in his communications. The speed and smoothness of all communications were also top notch (including evenings and weekends). I mean, if everything was as easy as dealing with these guys the world would be a better place, and the real estate world a tad less traumatic!

Rosanna (who is in charge of the operations) has been very responsive from the get go. Gianni has performed a level 3 survey on a Victorian era property with excellent attention to detail - who also tried to find the root cause of all the major defects found. I highly recommend this company for BRICS surveys, including period properties. Both Rosanna and Gianni were also very approachable and a pleasure to work with.

I am glad I chose this company to help me with the survey of my flat. It was slightly more expensive than the other firms but it indicated a more thorough approach.
Most other surveyors I checked came with very mixed reviews and didn't give me enough confidence. What I wanted was a personalized service, attentive to my specific needs and concerns. Someone I could talk to ahead of the survey to discuss my concerns, so that they could apply a extra focus on specific areas.
In fact, I was able to talk to the surveyor before and after the survey, several times, and he helped me a lot in thinking through issues.
I recommend this firm with no hesitation.
