For a money transfer to the US Monito suggested Azimo to me. Azimo turned out to be a big mistake and I regret very much to ever have come across that company. Forget the "great exchange rate" suggestion you get here and go to a serious transfer provider.

I have been using a very reliable transfer service for 10 years. I was never asked for a contract with the recipient or any information like that. It is a simple wire transfer from one bank account to another. Also, why do the checks come one after the other and not in one list? Little by little with 24 response time every time.
And why are they asking me to transfer my money to Azimo first and then they get the idea that they have to go through checks. They can do that before I give them 8000 €.
