Please don't waste your money. The photos are AI generated, and the fabric is NOTHING like the photo. The dress I ordered had a beautiful flowing fabric in the photo and when I DID receive it (it took about 2 months), the fabric was stiff and crisp and the pattern was not anywhere close to the beautiful photo. I tried to return it as it was rather expensive (for me) and I was told I had to pay for the return myself ~ about $40 to China, and the address was to a private residence in a man's name. This seemed REALLY strange. The reviews I read (after I had received it) said they never did get a refund, so I decided to cut my losses and not send the dress back. I am so frustrated and mad at myself for not doing more research and being so swayed by the photo. Please learn from me.

This is a dangerous website. Stay away from Modesees. It is impossible to return an item. I would NEVER purchase another item from this company. Shame on me for being "taken". My order was placed on 4/22/26

I ordered and received 2 items at different times. Both were very well made and matched the website photo. The second item was too small. I contacted support and they sent me the next size up at no additional cost. I did not even need to return the item that was too small. It arrived and looks lovely. Very happy with my purchases and the support service at Modesees.

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing the item. I want to warn anyone about buying from this company. The items come from China and so you have to wait several weeks. Then the item that I purchased was not made to be worn by anyone with a normal body. the jumpsuit was hard to put on let alone try to take it off. Do not buy the jumpsuit!!! The pictures of the models make the garments look gorgeous but most people don't have model bodies. Then if you want to return it you have to ship it back to China and pay for the shipping. SCAM. Do not buy from these people!

I made a purchase and I had no problem getting in touch with the support team, my purchase I made was small no fault of this merchant my error. I was told to keep the order as a gift and they will resend me a larger size. Thank you

I am trying to return an outfit received that I have been unable to try on because the turtleneck top is too narrow and Modesees is making it impossible. On top of that, two other outfits I ordered are out of stock and the option they are offering is to choose something else for the same value or higher. This is outrageous! They should be regulated.

Don’t loose time and money, poor quality takes over 2 month for delivery and when returning you pay more than 50% and you do t get your money back for the next three month

I purchased a dress and to find that I looked frumpy so I wanted to send it back. to find out that they don’t have this dress they don’t have my account absurd. I sent them the picture of the dress I sent him the picture of the packaging. Terrible company. Took a long time to ship.

I discovered Modesees in 2025 became a regular customer ever since then. I am obsessed with their beautiful,so very original clothing line. I don't see their style of clothing in too many places on-line. Their customer service is EXCELLENT. I received a jumpsuit in the wrong size & within 24 hours I heard back from them, they are sending me the correct size. That is unheard of in the retail on-line business where many times your wait is weeks. Customer for life here!! ~Ginger

I received my 3 items out of 4 due to out of stock. They r suggesting that I select in stock item for an exchange. I have been dealing with this issue for over 2 months and still not resolved. However I like the quality of thr pieces I received. Good customer service responses but not as effective customer service.

Now received. HOWEVER waited a very, very long time to get the items and when they arrived, yesterday, I am able to state that the clothes that I ordered are poor quality therefore not worth the price or the wait of a very long time to get the items. I STILL suggest that you avoid buying from this company for the reasons that I state above.

Very worrisome doing business, I had now idea this is a china based company. I ordered two items which were not satisfactory and I asked for a return. First response was to take pictures of myself in the garments? What? Then on the chat they gave me long explanations on accepting return prepaid shipping to China pay all duty then they will process refund

This is basically a scam website because they are selling SHEIN/Temu cheap quality stuff but charging as if it’s true quality material costing over $100 for something that is worth maybe $15. Cheap quality, thin fabric not as depicted and when you want to return, several emails trying to bribe you to get something else and if you want a refund you need to pay for overseas shipping. And get a refund once it’s received and inspected. Will never order from here again and hope others see this review and not buy from them.

I needed a change in my size so sent an e-mailed to the email address provided. I reviewed a response from July within 24 hours taking care of my request. I have what I need and I love my new outfit!! I am definitely a long term customer. Thank you July for all your help.

This is my second order! The clothing is well- made and very stylish! I received my order and the size chart, was in-between my measurements. The customer service representative was very helpful and went above and beyond to get my personal measurements to help and guide my sizing. I have never received such a personal experience regarding a return and to be assured they would send out the needed size without a charge! That was mind-blowing!

I would not even give them one star, but I am forced to do a star no matter what. These people are horrible. I ordered two dresses. Both of them size small and one was too big. The other one was too small. The too big I can make smaller, but the small one I cannot make it larger. Their website says that you can get a refund if you’re not happy but for the last 15 days older they keep doing is asking me stupid questions like which one is smaller which one is larger. What size are you. Give me your dimensions. Will give you a dress for free. Everything but refund me. They are trying to get me so exasperated that I just quit and not ask for the refund. These people are horrible. Do not buy anything from them

Very disappointing experience

I ordered a dress that took over a month to arrive, which was already frustrating. When it finally came, it looked nothing like the photos on the website—the images appear to be AI-generated and don’t reflect the actual product at all.

Trying to return it was another challenge. The return policy is difficult to find, and when I finally located it and reached out for help, I wasn’t able to connect with a real person—only a chatbot. Instead of offering a straightforward return, they proposed a 20% refund if I kept the dress, which isn’t usable.

To receive a full refund, they require you to arrange international shipping with specific customs handling, which feels unnecessarily complicated and costly for the customer.

Overall, the company could improve transparency around product images, make their return policy easier to access, and offer real customer support instead of automated responses.

The clothes modesees sell is beautiful, beautiful designs, but be sure when you place your order that the size is correct because the return policy is terrible. I ordered size S but fit a little large so I sent an email to them asking them to exchange the size for XS and till today almost a month no response.
