Meaning as soon as you are ready, so are we. We carry the parts including the bends we need for almost every stair configuration and build your stairlift bespoke to your Staircase. After talking with your dedicated agent to answer any questions and talk through the process we will conduct a home visit to suit you, with our Mobility First Expert Installer. We encourage you to invite anyone you would like to be a part of the decision, such as family members or friends. If you decide to go ahead that day, we’ll be able to install your lift that very same day. We will never apply any pressure, we appreciate it is a big decision and none of our conversations or visits carry any obligation, this is our guarantee to you.

From the first phonecall to the stairlift being installed it was just over a week. Excellent service from everyone we dealt with, Mike came to do the quote and put my nan's mind at rest about everything. Kate on the phone made it all so easy and Tom fitted it so quickly, explained it all very well and left no mess. Would recommend to anyone think about getting a stairlift installed.

Great Company How Things Should Be
Tom is a very polite, well mannered and an absolute credit to the company. Very patient and kind to my elderly parents.
Installation from start to finish was very simple with great communication from the people in the office.
Would definitely recommend if you need a Stairlift to contact Mobility 1st, simply wouldn't use anyone else.

I would like to recommend the services…
I would like to recommend the services of Mobility 1st. The complete service from booking a quote to installation was first class.
I am writing for myself and my 90 year old mother.
The quotation service from Mike Wheeler was friendly and informative. His communication skills with my mother were excellent. No question was left unanswered. At all times you were made aware of his obvious knowledge and skills within the arena of stairlifts. We did have other quotes but were convinced of the Mobility 1st service and ethos as described.
Of course you never really know how good the service will be.! However we were given a fitting date only a week after our decision.
Both my mother and i were fully satisfied with the installation by Tom Walker. Everything said previously about the quotation service regarding ;friendly professionalism and engineer knowledge, was true of the installation. It was a full and thorough service with safety aspects explained and all information given in an easy to understand way.
I have waited a few days to be able to say that my mother is using her stairlift with ease and it has made such a difference to her life.
The last aspect to mention is pricing. Hands down the best price point for the quality of product and complete service . ( after several quotes.)
It was a lucky day when we found Mobility 1st.!

My daughter contacted Mobility First for a quote and on 20th Feb 2026 Mike came. He was very friendly and no pressure to buy. He gave us the background to the firm and employees, told us our options with good advice. We were impressed and ordered a reconditioned curved chair lift after her left. It was fitted on the 3rd March by Tom, he was also very friendly and did a good tidy job. It was a pleasure to have him in the house. Thank you for a very good experience and service.

Excellent service in purchasing our stairlift
Mike Carroll did our survey. He was extremely helpful and excellent at explaining everything involved in selecting our stairlift.
Tom Walker was equally excellent at fitting the stairlift. It has made such a difference for my husband who has Parkinson’s Disease. We had brilliant service. We can’t speak highly enough of this company and would thoroughly recommend it.
