Worst customer service.. unprofessional.. do not even contact them !
The gentleman that came to my house was friendly but unprofessional. He didn't know what he was doing. His assistant wasn't any better. They fiddled around with the electrical for a few hours and repaired nothing. I paid them and they left. I would not use Mobile Mechanic because clearly, they do not make sure that their mechanics can actually repair vehicles.
I inquired about having an estimate on a paint job done. The guy was completely weird . After I texted me not to contact me anymore he threatened with police and fbi, insulted me a few times and then texted about the national debt. Now I am sending him the police and they hopefully examine his head as well
In May they agreed to r&r my BMW motor for the same price (had to wait for a rebuild). The removal was fine, when the time came to reinstall, it was almost double. We negotiated and they came 5 hours late after ghosting me all day & then literally slipped away "to avoid an argument" leaving things uninstalled under the difficult to R&R intake, which I only saw because I know what to look at.
Foolishly I contacted them for another job Tuesday, 8/5, I heard they would come 8/6, When I reached out yesterday, they said no Friday, when I asked for a promise of not being ghosted again, Jordan ghosted me! Now I can't access my account & they have not refunded the money. This morning I asked for my refund and they said thay already did and I got a bunch of bible thumping condemnation and attacks. Later Afterpay (which they insisted I use I have the money) said they had not refunded.
Avoid these guys.
Didn't fix my overheating and took 4 days! Charged me more than a dealer would have!! Doesn't come with a receipt. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else. A zero rating wouldn't be good enough
I had an extremely unsettling experience with this service. I called about a week ago to inquire about getting my snowblower serviced, I heard back last night about their availability for this morning.
The technician checked the gas and oil, added something to the fuel tank, and then tipped the snowblower forward. As I was only given a curtesy call 9 minutes prior to arrival, I went inside to get the money to pay him, and my wife informed me that she heard it start. When I returned, I simply asked if he could start it again so I could check to see if it was still making the strange noise that led to it not starting that I initially called about. Instead of addressing my concern, he became defensive, abruptly stating that he drained the gas and got it running, so I should just pay him and let him go.
When I asked if I could start it myself to see if the noise persisted, he rudely told to get fresh gas and not use what I had, even though I just bought the gas earlier this week and have not had this issue in the 16 years I have owned this snowblower. Then, he started yelling and berating me, accusing me of "holding him hostage," demanding his payment, and even threatening to disable the snowblower permanently so that I "could never use it again" if I didn’t pay him immediately. When I asked about a receipt for the warranty, he vaguely said I had a six-month warranty and should just "call the company."
This was an incredibly unprofessional interaction. Instead of answering basic questions and ensuring my issue was fully resolved, he was rude, aggressive, and unwilling to provide proper service. I paid $200 cash so that he would leave although I do not feel as if my service needs were adequately met. I was left feeling frustrated and disrespected and I do not recommend this service to anyone.
I had an extremely difficult bolt to extract from the serpentine belt tensioner. It must have been the original bolt because I'd tried everything from torches to three different kinds of penetrating oil. I even bought a brand new set of breaker bars and that didn't make a difference. I called One Mobile mechanic and he could not get it off but I paid him $50 anyway just for the effort. I tried calling him the following day with a new idea that my neighbor gave me and he did not return my call. So I called the first mobile mechanic that I met but he was out of town at the moment. When he called me and told me he was back in town I immediately called him and wow I was extremely impressed and thank Jesus for this man who got that bolt out for me. It was the boat from hell. Where the first mobile mechanic was less than thrilling. Griff the second Mobile mechanic was outstanding. I went so far as to pay him double for what he was asking because he was that good. I told him I'm his new customer and he's my new mechanic. His name is Griff. Griff resides in Virginia Beach. (757) 470-6030. Call him. You will not be disappointed I guarantee.
If I could give zero I would. This gentleman was sought out to repair a CV Axle on my car. After driving 3 miles my car stalled out. He came back the next day to look at it and said he knew what it was but was too ill to fix it at that time but he would be back the next day. He stated he would send another individual which we declined since he is the one that did the repair, we wanted him to be the one to fix it. Fast forward two weeks of calls stating he was on his way to never show up and not answer the phone for days. Finally we agreed to let his employee come out all to find out the transmission is gone. A vehicle that drove perfectly fine and has all service records from the time of purchase. This man played in our face, tore up a vehicle and walked away. He stated the prior mechanic lost a screw that he had in his possession at the time of his repair. Instead of replacing it, he told my son to take it back to the store for a refund and that it wasn’t needed. Do yourself a favor and go to the shop and leave the bootleg mechanics that clearly don’t know what they are doing alone.
These guys were super helpful and excellent in diagnosing a problem my regular mechanic couldnt. They were quick affordable and effective

My experience with Mobile Mechanic was a roller coaster ride of emotions, primarily due to the abysmal customer service provided by the owner, Jordan. While the company boasts ASE certified mechanics who demonstrated competence in their technical skills, the entire experience was overshadowed by Jordan's unprofessional conduct.
The initial engine replacement process, while ultimately successful, was plagued by delays and errors that extended the repair timeline significantly. However, it was Jordan's subsequent communication and actions that truly soured the experience. Throughout the ordeal, he consistently interrupted conversations, shifted blame onto others, and refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the ongoing issues with my vehicle.
The entire process was unnecessarily prolonged due to a series of miscommunications, scheduling conflicts, and repeated disputes with Jordan regarding additional fees for towing and diagnostics. This was particularly frustrating given that I had already paid for the initial engine replacement and was essentially being held hostage by Jordan's unreasonable demands.
Jordan's behavior escalated to the point where he resorted to personal insults when I questioned the validity of his additional charges. This blatant disrespect for a paying customer was the final straw, leading me to consider legal action to recoup the additional costs and compensate for the undue stress and inconvenience caused by his actions.
In the end, the repairs were completed thanks to the intervention of one of the mechanics, who was clearly embarrassed by Jordan's behavior and offered a compromise to resolve the financial dispute. While I am grateful to this mechanic for his professionalism and willingness to help, the overall experience left a bitter taste in my mouth.
I would caution anyone considering Mobile Mechanic to be prepared for a potentially adversarial and frustrating experience with the owner, Jordan. While the technical skills of their mechanics are commendable, the company's customer service leaves much to be desired, and Jordan's unprofessional conduct is a significant liability that could easily deter future customers.
Scheduled with them because my normal mechanic was unavailable... Still had to wait a week, but hopeful when the day came. He was late, and after a few minutes informed me additional work was required and left.
Charged $169 for him to look...
Quoted $400 for the additional work, but my mechanic is available and said $375.
Had I waited, my mechanic wouldn't have charged the additional- just $375 total. All told, MobileMechanic wanted to charge $520, and said it was my own fault for not canceling sooner.
I wanted it to work out. I would have preferred being able to call on them for other work, but customer service was ridiculous. No concern for customers. Would have be fine paying for diagnostic, but $169(?!) for 5mins is stupid. If $400 total on his return, I probably would have still done it (tho not happily). But I have no interest in spending that much on a company that clearly doesn't care about customer relations. Makes me wonder where their positive reviews come from, cause this is the only place I could write one the wasn't mechanic specific.
Mobile mechanic.com vehicle driving on freeway in left lane weaving back and forth and slowing traffic
Went to pass vehicle and driver texting
Called the number on vehicle and told driver how dangerous to drive and text
Response “ I run an online business “
If this careless on road would not trust them with my vehicle
A terrible ordeal, from start to finish. Give them the venmo payment, and it goes to someone called Betty Cash, then they ignore texts and calls. 8 hours later Antwone Crothers turn ups, looks at a few things, cannot find the battery, says things like starter, electrical, points fingers, points to a battery diode, and says fuel filter.. its obviously a scam by this point, he has no idea about cars at all..then he suddenly leaves with "i'll be back" and he never does. Follow up texts result in "i was moving furniture" " i was busy" other nonsense, and finally the admission of theft "we did turn up"..
Antwone Crothers is running a straight out scam.
I reported it to the Texas Attorney General Office under the DTPA...Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act, so my taxes pay for lawyers to put people like him out of business
I can't speak to the quality of the work because it never got done. Quick response on the website and a quick (albeit not complete) diagnosis followed by weeks of unanswered calls and text messages from the mechanic and a lot of back and forth with customer service resulted only in one more visit to my car (also followed by another week of communication issues) and a much more expensive diagnosis. The mechanic no longer wanted to do it, the other mechanics in the network didn't want to do it, then the original mechanic said he would do it for $4,000 (initial estimate was $156). I put the money in the escrow account and I eventually disputed it because I got tired of asking exactly what the mechanic DID do to it (he was supposed to have replaced the ignition switch and a relay, but I have no idea if he did or not). I am left with a car that still doesn't run and a connector with cut wires hanging under the dashboard that I have no idea what it goes to. They need to work on their communication skills and/or how to prioritize and manage workloads.
They replied that they don't know who I am, but cross-reference my Google review.

Awful scam. Do not deal with these folks. Our vehicle not fixed, out hundreds of $ and we’re not sure if the parts we purchased to have their mechanic install were even put into the car. Law authorities recommend we take them to court. Lots of bad press on this company and these people.
Our family is out nearly $500 from a team of scammers with this company. But, alas, we have our souls intact. Not sure how folks can get up and look at themselves in the mirror.

William is coming on Monday to install a canister purge valve solenoid in my 2015 SRX and has given me a fair and decent quote. I will definitely use him again in the future. Please hire him!
