This may well be a scam not an actual…

This may well be a scam not an actual taxi company I am looking at my bank account and wondering whether I will get my money back that I paid upfront for a no-show on the basis that 'they don't cover my area' - so why take my booking? (and my money) Dodgy, dodgy, dodgy!

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. I pre-booked and paid for a return journey and got a text message saying my taxi was on its way. I then get a phone call saying my driver is in an accident and both journeys need to be cancelled. According to my booking, I cancelled. I definitely didn't. I now how to find alternative transport with no notice.
Please avoid. Will see how long my refund takes.

Never turned up

I made a booking on the evening of Saturday 7/3/26 to be picked up at 7:30 am on Sunday morning. They confirmed (I have the printout). At 4:57 am they emailed to say that they could not book a vehicle. What use is that? Who reads emails at that time in the morning? Completely unreliable. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THEIR 'SERVICE'.

Used the website to book a wheelchair…

Used the website to book a wheelchair accessible vehicle for a short journey (under 2 miles) and was quoted £35 (a regular car was £11). As I was desperate I booked and paid. Company then called me to say the price on the website was wrong and the actual cost was £70. When I queried this I was told “it’s a wheelchair accessible car. These are very rare”. Absolutely disgusting abuse of disabled people. Obviously I cancelled immediately.

Held to ransom with last minute price increase

Booked a cab on about the 20th Dec to take me from Colchester to London late on boxing day evening. Cost £102 and prepaid.

Two hours before it was due to come I called them to confirm- and the then demanded an additional £28 or they would not come.

Held me to ransom, basically. Extremely dishonest. No apology, extremely arrogant.

You got your £28- well done. And lost a customer who used you several times a year.

Agressive upselling

Booked a car - shortly afterward was called telling us we would not 'fit' into a Saloon car - 2 bags and a travel pushchair. Refused to take us unless we paid more for an estate car, so we cancelled booking. Wont be bothering again - fine to check our booking, but we know we don't have too much luggage for the car selected.

Awful experience, AVOID

I wished I checked Trustpilot before booking. I booked online in the afternoon for a 3:20 am trip, I was charged immediately yet I didn't receive any confirmation email or text. So I called them straight away and they confirmed they received the booking and everything was alright.
They called me at 3 am (!!!), so in the middle of the night and 20 minutes before the pick up time, to let me know they wouldn't be able to come for whatever reason and they even denied I called them earlier. And who knows if they'll ever refund me as they claimed. Disgraceful and utterly unprofessional, don't waste your time and money.

Shocking!!

Shocking!!! Quoted a price for a trip, paid and then 13 hours before the journey they have rang and said there was an error on their system it was the wrong price and then they say it double!!!

I booked this company months in…

I booked this company months in advance. And was emailed within an hour of pick up to say they could had to cancel my booking for 2 separate vehicles. When I phoned them they said they had cancelled my booking to do airport runs. No only were we left stranded but if I hadn't of checked my email they would never have called. They took the money out of my account for both bookings. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Avoid at all costs.

I booked a cab at 4.45pm for an immediate pickup, they called to confirm and said the cab would be there in 20 minutes and then text a confirmation with a tracking link. At 5.20pm still no sign of it, so I called to find out where it is. I was told very rudely that "I had only booked it a minute ago". I corrected and gave the actual time I booked and then was told it would be 10-15 minutes. I asked him why he'd said I'd only booked a minute ago and he mumbled "system" and then hung up. 20 minutes later still no sign, I called again and was told 5-8 minutes. 10 minutes later called again and told it was another 8 minutes because the driver is on another job. I cancelled it. Ridiculous joke of a company and an exemplar of why Uber is so popular.

Awful

Their website shows positive reviews, but you can’t click to read them - there’s a reason why! Absolutely shambolic - avoid at all costs.

Very bad experience, avoid !

I had reserved a cab for 7 people early in the morning on Sunday November 2nd, to go to Liverpool Street Railway Station and received a confirmation and a booking number. Yet, to make sure everything was ok I called the night before and the man on the phone said the booking had been cancelled ! I was amazed and shocked ; when I asked for explanations he said their taxis were only for airports, which is not true, and that I had been warned, which is not true again. Then he simply hung up on me in a very rude manner. This is really appalling and shameful.

First time using this service

First time using this service. Cab was dirty and stank. Not a great experience at all. Cost was not a fixed price as the price changed on the day of the pick up literally half an hour before arrival! Even though the booking was done over a month ago. Customer service (the manager) was not professional either. Rude over the phone. I will not use this company again.

Disgraceful unprofessional bunch of clowns

Booked cab 3 days in advance received email confirmation and then 2 texts 20 minutes before booked pick up to track cab EXCEPT cab turns up 10 minutes late saying journey cancelled! If I want The journey it’s another charge! No response from company. Disgraceful unprofessional and frankly bunch of clowns! Dont bother !

Extremely disappointing- Avoid!

We recently used Mini Cabs for a transfer to Heathrow after doing extensive research to find a taxi service that provides car seats. Unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing.
To begin with the taxi was 25 minutes late. I had specifically booked two car seats, clearly stating that one needed to be suitable for our 20 month old. However, the driver showed up with a newborn car seat, which was not a appropriate for either of our children. The driver claimed they did not have booster seats, despite this being part of our booking. On the return journey a booster seat was provided, but once again the second seat was another newborn car seat, showing a complete disregard for the safety needs we communicated.
I sent a complaint email and have had no response. When I phoned up I was laughed at by the staff, which was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.
I would not recommend this taxi service to anyone especially ones travelling with young children.
The lack of of reliability, safety and basic customer service is appalling.

Not a real company

Not a real company! Took the money for a booking, called within seconds to confirm than 12 hours before the pick up said the driver was in hospital. Absolute scam.. do not use!!

A complete let down

I booked a return transfer to Stansted Airport in April, got the confirmation email and phone call from them. We're due to fly on the 11th August. I emailed today, 7th August, just to double check all was well, instantly got an email back saying they could not do this transfer. After speaking to them, they had no intention of telling me this. If I hadn't checked, we would have missed our flight. Terrible company!

I subsequently found a cancellation email to my PC, but only 10 minutes before due time, so too late for me to see it.
