They linked me with an instructor , he booked me 2 hours for 1st lessons .. it was my 1st time driving in the UK so I needed a decent guidance...
The instructor was using his phones at many occasions texting , every lesson we had to stop for him to go toilet or get a drink etc..
I had paid for 10 hours so i had to stay with him to finish my hours but trust me every lesson was a nervous 2 hours that i didnt need in my life !!
at the last session he was asking my silly question about a roundabout that was coming and i didnt know anything about it and then he shouted to move quickly .. i was boiling inside and wanted to get off the car and leave !!
I decided to not carry on with that instructor and i had a lesson last week with somone else and believe me she was shocked with my answers to some question regarding driving which i explained this was never explained to me !!
the 1 hour lesson i had with the new instructor was better than the other 9 hours with that guy.
when i contacted Midrive to get a refund for all these wasted hours that made me miss my driving test on 4th of october !!
they washed their hand off and said no refund will be given.
Waste of time and waste of money.
I will be seeking legal action against the company if my money isn't refunded !!

Easy to use app, can view lessons and has practise questions and answers. Only room for improvement would be the functionality to book through the app

A great service which makes booking lessons, and finding verified instructors easy. Simple to manage and update lessons, keep track of what you’ve learnt, and the theory section of the app is very useful!

Easy to find the instructor and take the lesson .

Midrive was very helpful with finding the best instructor in the area and the customer service was great!

Having spent a while looking for an instructor online and not having much luck, I came across Midrive and thought I'd give it a go. I have to say I've been very impressed.

The app is slick and packed with helpful features, my instructor was allocated to me within a day and he has turned out to be brilliant.

The proof of the pudding will be passing my test of course, but having used the app for a few weeks I would certainly recommend Midrive to other learners.

What a waste of time! Lack of communication and zero customer service! The instructor doesn’t reply for my messages at all! Customer service says well instructors busy all the time therefore they are on the road all time!! Instructor didn’t reply for 2 weeks now!! Hilarious 😂

I never write reviews but the shocking service of Midrive has prompted to do so.

Our first instructor cancelled lessons, left the country halfway through the course of lessons and then our second instructor tells us our son had been taught to ride the clutch.

Midrive showed no interest in this rogue instructor, asking me to report them to the DVSA rather than them doing so.

They showed even less interest in discussing a refund of my hard-earnt cash that has been wasted by the first instructors lack of professionalism. Avoid at all costs - what should be a useful service in pairing trusted instructors with pupils is nothing more than a booking service. As I was told - 'we are not responsible for (and make no representations, warranties or guarantees as to) the behaviour, acts or omissions of any Driving Instructors you engage through Midrive.com or the quality of the services they provide'.

Whaaaat?!?!

PS - no abusive language or 'bullying' went on during my complaint. I will be interested to see if Midrive claim the opposite as that also seems to be one of their tactics..

Absolutely great so far. Cheaper than every other company, had my first lesson within the week, the instructor was friendly, calm and professional. I'm an incredibly nervous driver and felt at ease the entire time.

The worst experience I had!!! After wasting my time for over two weeks... they still could not provide the service that I paid for!!! Avoid using this company if you don't want to waiste your time and money. Horrible service... I asked for refund which they are taking 10 days to give my money back!!! The staff were so ignorant that could not me with a simple service. Horrible
