Easy to order and very good service
Easy to order and very good service. I ordered at the weekend and delivery was here by Wednesday. Good communication and was kept up to date. They very kindly filled a planter on delivery. Would definitely use again and reccomend!

Excellent soil - friendly local service
I had newly constructed raised beds in my garden. I had previously only ordered the compost in black bags which were delivered exactly where I had asked. So when I had the raised beds, Midland Compost delivered the soil in bulk bags which worked out slightly cheaper. The soil is excellent quality and everything grows really well in the soil. I grow vegetables and flowers. I used it to plants shrubs and for seedling too. Very friendly and helpful - highly recommend.

Thank you so much for leaving us a review, and thank you for your return custom, we do deliver the smaller (20kg) bags in black bags this is to keep the cost down for customers. I am so glad to hear how well everything has grown in the compost, we are one of the only composts on the market which is (almost suitable for everything (part from Acid loving plants) but from seeds to shrubs, seedling to trees, the compost is screeded to 10mm so suitable for everything, unlike other brands that have several different versions for different requirements, whilst this can be done, we want to keep our products as cheap as possible but keeping the highest quality as always.

Leading quality compost on the market
The cost is really affordable, and the service was good, I felt informed along the way of when to expect the delivery. The feel of rhe compost from the bag feels great compared to some purchased recently at a garden centre that had been bulked out with coir. The fact this compost has been sieved is so convenient as you can start using it right away. I have filled raised beds, pits and used it in a homemade houseplant mix. So far seeds have germinated in the raised beds, will be able to review at the end of the season how the veggies have grown, but so far so good.

The compost we stock is one of the best I have found, it took me a long period of time before trading to find a compost I would be happy to 1) use on my own garden and 2) one I would be happy to sell to the public. I will never knock any other products but as most wholesale products they are filled/bulked out for profits, this is something that as a company we will never change.

Wow!Fantastic service ! The delivery guy couldn’t have done anymore . I was contacted the day before to discuss delivery and access. On arrival the delivery guy had organised my compost into two bags to make it easier to get it into my garden . When he saw that I was filling a raised bed he took the trouble to wheelbarrow the compost from the van and filled up the raised bed for me. What took him 10 mins would have taken me all day . The compost is really excellent quality ,completely superior to bog standard supermarket stuff and works out more cost effective. I even have some left for other pots . I cant remember the last time I had such amazing service! Thank you.
