Have used number 5 on multiple occasions for lawn levelling & topdressing. Always excellent quality, never had any weeds coming up from the product, and always outstanding service.

Excellent telephone support and reliable delivery slot. I was unsure if they would be able to deliver to me as we have a slightly sloping driveway, but Richard was very helpful. I have use Field Compost for the past two years it is a quality product and I use it for lawn renovation. We had a particularly hot summer with limitations of water supply due to cost the lawn ended up a toasty brown. However once some rain arrived approaching mid September I scarified the lawn applied a small amount of nitrogen feed and applied the compost using my spreader. At first you think how can all this sink into the lawn but with further rain across the following week the compost started to restore the lawn. By early October the compost had defused into the lawn and I was able to cylinder mow the grass and get nice green stripes again. Field Compost is ideal for this purpose, its fine organic material is great for renovation and contains no weed seeds or rubbish that is often found in other brands and most importantly for your mower no stones. I can recommend Field Compost and intend to order more for use in future as it does such a good job.

Once again delivery was smooth despite challenging drop off. You always make things seem so easy. Driver as always so helpful and cheerful. X

I used both Field no 4 and no 5 for a complete lawn renovation earlier this year.

The quality of these products can't be overstated. Very finely graded with not a hint of debris anywhere, a joy to use.

Scheduled delivery around limitations at my end, gave notice of delivery and delivered large bag into position with a crane lorry. 3rd year ordering.

Great product, I couldn't find a product of similar quality anywhere else, left my lawn looking amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend field compost no4 if you are looking for a product to put down after seeding and to help level your lawn.

If you are serious about having a great lawn then you need a seriously good product.
You will not get a top notch product from your local garden centre … just a general product.
If you want to do an above average job on a lawn buy the best you can
