I have just completed my 8 month course using low level laser therapy along with the sprays and tablet treatment. After looking at the before and after pictures there is definitely some noticeable differences in hair thickness and gradual growth. Although I was probably hoping for a bit better results I am happy with the progress that was made. The staff at the clinic were really great with making me feel welcome and answering any questions.

Going through hair loss has an impact on your mental health no question about it ! Finding somewhere to trust is also quite hard as there are many places that will just expose your insecurity for peraonal gain (I know this first hand).

Mhr clinic is not like that and in time I learned to trust them. Dean has been so understanding and paitent. So I can only thank him for that.

Since having the free consultation, Someone from the clinic has been in touch every step of the way with check ups on my progress every few months. The results for my hair have really improved and I’m very happy with my results so far.

I am currently at the halfway stage, 9 sessions of 18 of the red light laser therapy, I came to mhr clinic at Harrogate/Harewood with no idea about this treatment. I just thought it would be a hair transplant or shave it off but after my consultation with Anna, she put me fully at ease with explaining my hair could be saved after viewing follicles under a camera. Anna is very knowledgeable in this department and I was a bit sceptical at first thinking surely not as I was adamant I was just bald in places but I trusted her and halfway through I am so happy with the results. 2 tablets a day, 4 sprays in the morning then at night and 40 minutes once every 2 weeks sat under the light is all it takes for 18 sessions, all the staff are very friendly its been a great experience.

I have always had fairly thick hair but had an extended period of hair shedding last year (probably menopause/hormone related) which resulted in my hair becoming visible thinner.
The Harrogate MHR clinic was recommended to me by someone who had also had very positive results.

After a challenging start to the process for me personally, the continued and ever present support of both the wonderful Anna and Natalie made it all worthwhile. They gave me a lot of confidence throughout the process and have been extremely flexible which made rescheduling a breeze. Overall I am pleased with the results.

Superb journey - went in very self conscious but after 8 months of laser and minoxidil left feel extremely happy and confident.

I would definitely recommend the MHR clinic to anyone who experiencing hair loss . I have just finished my 8 month treatment and can not only see a big difference in my hair but a big difference in myself too.

Natalie and Anna have been so supportive throughout and are always there to have a nice chat and see how things are going.

I think it’s nice that even though my treatment has finished and I am carrying it on myself, I still have a consultation in a few months time to check in and see how I am getting on with things.

Anna and Natalie were warm and encouraging throughout my treatment. They never oversold what the results might be, which I appreciated. In the end, the treatment worked well — not dramatically, but exactly as I'd hoped- the hair roots are stronger and feeling less sparse at the crown.

It's left me feeling more confident and happier with how I look. Looking back, I'm genuinely pleased I decided to go through with it.

I attended the clinic for an initial consultation with Anna who was extremely knowledgeable about hair and regrowth, I decided to sign up for the treatment.
8 months of fortnightly visits to the clinic and self care at home daily I can not even begin to explain how amazed and pleased I am with the results.
Friends and colleagues have also commented on my results one that I hadn't seen for sometime asking me if I had, had a hair transplant.

Really pleased with the results of the 4 month laser and minoxidil treatment. I was feeling self conscious about my hairline and crown, but the treatment really made a difference. I'd certainly recommend the treatment to people who start to notice a difference in their own hair add it is much more effective the earlier you treat it. I'm in for surgery this week and I'm excited about the results.

The staff are great and understanding. They understand how important and significant hair loss can be and do everything to put your anxieties at ease.

When I first walked through the doors, I was devastated. I was losing hair every single day due to stress and taking Mounjaro, and it had completely knocked my confidence. I was so worried that it would never grow back.
I'm now only halfway through my treatment, and thanks to Anna, I finally have hope and confidence that my hair will return to normal—if not even thicker than it's ever been. The difference already is incredible. Before starting treatment, my hair loss was so noticeable that I felt like it was all anyone could see. Now, halfway through, it genuinely just looks like I've chosen to have a bob haircut rather than it looking like there's something wrong.
Anna has been amazing throughout this journey. She's incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and genuinely cares about getting the best results for her clients. I also have to mention Natalie on reception, who is always so warm, welcoming and friendly. They both go above and beyond to make every visit a positive experience, and nothing is ever too much trouble.

I have just finished a 8 month treatment with MHR clinic and wanted to give a honest review.
I initially wanted to explore my options to try and improve my hairline which has been receding for a while now. I thought my only option was a hair transplant and that is why I contacted the clinic to explore my suitability for a transplant.
After contacting the clinic, I attended the initial assessment and the process of hair loss due to DHT shrinking hair follicles was explained to me. I was then shown my hair using a magnifying camera. The assessment seemed pretty thorough and I was told that once hair follicles have died there's no getting them back and that only shrunken follicles can be revived and sometimes produce a couple of hairs from one follicle. I was shown an optimistic (in my opinion) line of where I could expect my hairline to grow back to over time. It was a very positive appointment and it was recommended that I try an 8 month plan of using Minoxidil F+ spray twice a day, taking two supplements every day (multivitamins and biotin) and a 40 minute low level Lazer therapy session at the clinic every two weeks for 8 months.
This cost a shade over £3200 for the 8 months of treatment.
After around 4 or 5 months I had a mid treatment assessment where I was asked how I thought it was going. I was honest and said I thought the improvement in my hair was modest but I realised that the treatment can take some time to get results.
I have now finished the 8 months and I think my hair looks very similar to before I started the treatment. I have noticed a few wispy hairs that may be new and very possibly a slight improvement in hair thickness but it's only very slight.
I have spoken to 3 other people who were also attending the clinic and they said the same as me. Essentially it may have had a very slight effect, but only very slight.
Now I am at the end of my treatment I have decided to carry on using the Minoxidil F+ as I have read and been told that once the Minoxidil is stopped. Any hair that has grown while using it will fall out again within a couple of months. I have however purchased the Minoxidil elsewhere which is exactly the same product but half the price of what MHR clinic sells it for.
Overall I do think I have wasted £3000 plus 2 and a half hours of my time every two weeks (driving to the clinic and sitting under a Lazer for 40mins) and if I knew 8 months ago what I know now. I would just purchase the Minoxidil online and just use that. I dare say I would see similar results.
My experience when attending the clinic itself was very good. The staff were extremely friendly and I can't fault that. I just think the very expensive Lazer therapy Is very hard to prove works effectively and if it is working, It only has a slight benefit.
Hopefully this review will help anyone looking at this sort of treatment to make an informed decision on whether or not to go ahead. I think if you are going to give it a go. Limit your expectations as it's likely to only give small improvements if any at all.

Started my hair loss treatment back in February. I was bald and, although I was skeptical at first, I was willing to give anything a go. Dean explained the process to me in a lot of detail and has offered support throughout. The results so far have been absolutely amazing and I am still pretty new into my treatment. The staff at the clinic are lovely - I'm very happy with the decision I made and advise anyone who is on the fence to go for it.

I entered the clinic feeling very low and self-conscious about my hair. I’ve struggled with alopecia areata for a few years, and although my hair would grow back, it gradually became thinner each time. Anna was incredibly welcoming and informative, explaining the reason behind my gradual decline in density and how my treatment plan would work. Halfway through my treatment, I can confidently say I’ve noticed a huge difference not only in my hair but also in my confidence, and I have MHR Clinic to thank for that. Natalie on the front desk is also amazing, and together they create a very welcoming, friendly, and warm environment, which is so important for people like me who find hair loss to be a daunting reality to face.
