I had a very disappointing experience with Mew Mew. I placed an order on March 3, 2026, for a dress and a pair of shoes for my birthday party on March 12. I paid $48 for overnight shipping to ensure everything arrived on time.

My package order#250962 didn’t arrive until March 11, just one day before my event, and when I opened it, the shoes were missing. I contacted customer service via email (as there is no phone number available) and was initially told the shoes were stuck in customs and would arrive a few days later. Later, they admitted the shoes had not been shipped at all due to lack of inventory.

This completely ruined my birthday outfit.

After waiting, I finally received the shoes in April over a month later and they were the wrong size. I contacted the company again to request a refund or exchange, but responses were extremely delayed, and I was never provided a return label as promised.

I paid using PayPal Pay in 4. When I tried to file a claim, PayPal informed me I had missed the deadline, as I had been waiting on the company to respond and resolve the issue.

In total, I lost $300 and was left with an unusable product, poor communication, and a ruined special occasion. This experience reflects extremely poor business practices: delayed shipping, failure to fulfill an order, sending incorrect items, and lack of customer support.

I will not be shopping with Mew Mew again.

Items were out of stock, but it didn't say that on the site. I only found out that this was true when customer service told me when my item didn't ship! This happened 2x!!! I am disappointed and the dresses are cheap and huge!

Absolutely loved the dress I purchased! I wore it to a casino-themed fundraiser and got compliments all night. It was surprisingly comfortable, which I honestly wasn’t expecting with how stunning it looked. Overall, totally worth it and I will purchase from Mew Mews again!

The dress did not fit and was different from the photo. I requested to return it for a refund, first they said they would give me a credit note for 40% of the value (it was a $198cad dress), then in the next email gave me a code for only $48.

I then emailed again and asked why can I could not get a refund since it was full price? They then said they would give me a credit for 110% if I sent photos, which I did. I had barely tried the dress on and was back in the package.

Then, they send this very long email mailing it so complicated to return and pay the shipping, asking me to put the value as 5-8% of the value of the dress.

They can keep their money. Too much hassle. Maybe that’s what they want.

Will never order from them again.

I ordered from Mew Mews for the second time only because I had a voucher after complaining about the quality of my first purchase, and unfortunately, the experience was just as disappointing. The overall quality of their products is very poor, and the sizing is extremely inconsistent. For one dress, a size S fits loosely, while for another it’s so tight that it doesn’t look flattering at all.

In this case, the dress runs much smaller than expected. The material feels cheap and not durable, and there’s a very thin strap around the back of the neck that seems like it could break easily, especially since the dress itself is quite heavy. On top of that, the dress is much shorter than expected.

Overall, these are items you can wear once and then throw away, which is not what I would expect for the price. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from this brand.

The customer service reached out but their replies are as inconsistent as the sizes. Once thay say they will offer me a 50% refund to my bank account and the other that they cannot refund as I have purchased with a gift card (which I got from them to compensate for poor quality of the previous purchase). The answer is evertime different.

The return policy and shipping speeds are terrible. This needs to be improved.

Sadly I was duped like many of these people. Clearly most, maybe all, of the positive reviews are fake. Because of the price point I thought the quality would be good, it is not. I went back and forth and came on here to see the reviews were somewhat ok and decided to give it a shot. I purchased a $100 dress and when it arrived it was like SHEIN had shipped. It came from DHL, packing was terrible, same bags as SHEIN and from China. The material was nothing like the pictures. I emailed to do a return, which is only store credit and you pay for the return so right away you lose money. I sent tracking info and never heard back, had to follow up again about my return to get a credit - shady! I ordered another dress, same crap I received before. I lost out on $100 when I could have bought this from SHEIN for $10 with free returns. Take your money elsewhere, trust me!

I’ve always loved corsets and corset-style dresses, and when choosing one, I pay close attention to the structure — whether it’s firm or soft. Soft corsets can lose their shape after a few awkward moves or bends, and that’s always disappointing.

But this one…😍😍😍 I just received my order from Miu Miu, and I’m honestly in love. It’s structured and firm, yet incredibly comfortable. It holds its shape perfectly, doesn’t deform, and keeps that flawless look.

Appalling quality and illegal returns policy
Ordered items which arrived extremely poor quality and completely unwearable. When I tried to return them, I was repeatedly refused a cash refund and offered only a gift card or exchange — which is a direct violation of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Despite quoting my legal rights in multiple emails, they continued to ignore them. I have now had to raise a chargeback through my bank. Avoid this company at all costs — they do not comply with UK consumer law and will do everything they can to avoid giving you your money back.

customer service is impossible to reach. The sizing is weird, a size large fits as a size small. There’s no way to return the items. I will never buy from this store ever again !! It’s a scam

The dress is beautiful—I absolutely love both the design and the fabric. It has a really lovely finish, and you can tell the quality in every detail. It also fits very well and is comfortable to wear, which I really value.

The dress I purchased was absolutely stunning. I felt sexy and confident. I received my dress very fast once I ordered and I loved the packaging!!

I ordered a dress a week ago, it still hasn’t shipped yet, which means I will not get it in time for the event I ordered it for. Emailed them multiple times with no response. Somehow they manage to respond to only the positive reviews on here.

Ugly, size more like XL, not at all what the picture looked like.

The third one and it was not at all like picture. It was thé worst version of AliExpress finds . Even on AliExpress this days you can find better then what they sent. Complete pie and scam, that’s why they don’t refund because they know they sell crap

I got very beautiful dresses and necklace, they are so gorgeous and shipping was fast. I have reached out to customer care twice to return some dresses that didn't fit, I didn't have any difficulty returning the dresses. Customer care was very kind to exchange the dresses for me. I really love mewmew.

Absolutely unacceptable service and clearly dishonest treatment of customers.

I ordered two dresses with a promised delivery time of 5 working days. In reality, the deadlines were completely ignored: the first dress was shipped only after 2–3 weeks, and for the second one I was told to wait up to 1.5 months. After I refused, the store did not issue a refund and instead tried to force me to accept a gift card, which is not acceptable under consumer law.

The quality of the received item was shockingly poor — cheap fabric that irritates the skin and is impossible to wear. The product does not match the photos or description in any way.

After I returned the item, the store completely stopped responding. No refund has been issued, and customer support is ignoring all messages.

This strongly looks like a deliberate pattern: delaying shipments, refusing proper refunds, and then ignoring customers.

I strongly advise everyone to avoid this store. If you don’t want to lose your money and time — stay away.

A woman friend of mine suggested to buy elegant and sensual dresses and so I did.
Lot of choice, good quality, very smart features, good price. The only thing to improve the time of delivery in few days would be better instead 2 weeks as average. This just to have items earlier.
