Excellent Service and Quality from Meters Direct!
I recently ordered skirting boards from Meters Direct and couldn't be happier with my experience.

The skirting boards themselves are great quality, and the delivery was incredibly fast and efficient.

What truly stood out was their exceptional customer service. I realised I had ordered one less skirting board than I needed, and when I contacted them, they were incredibly helpful and understanding, offering to assist immediately.

I highly recommend Meters Direct for their quality products and fantastic support!

Great service from Metres Direct. I’ve ordered from them a few times over the years and never had any issues. Most recently, they helped resolve a profile mismatch quickly and improved the lead time when I needed additional lengths urgently. Responsive, helpful, and professional throughout. Not great, skirting meant to be 145mm (anything from 140 - 145mm) to up 5mm gaps in height!
Nightmare to install, many lengths were warp, damaged and had to waste lot.
Paid for prime, quick slap job (save ££ and DIY) can't do any worse

Have purchased from Metres Direct before, always really helpful and their range is great. Delivery always quick. I needed just one additional skirting board having not ordered enough. Spoke with Joe Phillips who was excellent. Waived the minimum order amount and delivery charge of £16 is great vs some of their competitors who wanted in excess of £25. Thanks Joe.

Wouldn’t use anyone else and recommend them to family/friends, all the time. We have an ongoing (aren’t they always!) house project, have had 10+ door architraves and endless metres of skirting. I love the primed option, anything that saves an extra bit of painting for me is a bonus. Selection is great, prices even better and comms are fantastic. Recent delivery was a bit of a hiccup, but that was courier related. Joseph was responsive to calls and emails with accurate info to assist in its resolution. Thank you

Absolutely outstanding company. There products are 1st class, I had a small issue with the courier company losing part of my order. But meters direct, rectified it immediately. Much better than the massive rival I tried with who couldn't actually tell me the lengths of skirting board I could expect to receive, plus charging almost a 3rd more for roughly the same thing. Needed to amend the order, Joseph was in touch 9am Monday morning with an answer. So far, very impressed. Thanks very much

Great company. Found exactly what I was looking for. Fantastic customer service I had a couple of questions and response was fast and professional would definitely recommend

I ordered 2 lengths of 190mm skirting board, not arrived on the seventh day as stated so phoned to ask about the order , the guy answered my query , delivery was next day, but tbh he didn't come over as very friendly. However not important compared to quality of my order. One 3.9m length was ok but the other one was badly split for almost the whole length.
I decided to keep the order because I won't be using the whole length and it's going in a cupboard area so mostly won't be seen. If I had needed it for a main room it would have had to go back. Very disappointed with the quality and it wasn't cheap either. There were a couple of dings as well but no comparison to the split and it went through to the other side, so no I won't be using them again.

Update May 12th.
While accepting Joe's reply about delivery date and business working days I don't accept that the board was completely free of defects on dispatch and blaming transport is a bit lame.
Also I accepted delivery and did not wish to return due to the hassle I also did NOT ask for any compensation or refund. I just put in a honest review of my experience.
I thought Joe's offer of a refund of one board was kind and thoughtful but alas I think Joe wrote that purely for the readers to show the company in a good light . I NEVER received any refunds , so Joe, thanks a bunch mate.
BEWARE DO NOT use this company

Really happy with the dado rail and window boards we ordered. They arrived on time and as they were mdf I found them easy to install myself. They look really smart. The team were very responsive and super helpful. Will be coming back again

From the moment I placed my order the communication has been brilliant and the staff are very helpful.
I asked for a certain day for my delivery and they have accommodated me perfectly.
