I recently ordered a Trend Kitchen which is one of the modern style kitchen designs that is manufactured by Mereway. The units and accessories came very well packaged. Upon delivery there were 2 minor issues identified with 2 different units. Mereway promptly sent one replacement cabinet and also one replacement stanchion, which my fitter was able to utilize successfully.

The units are very well constructed and finished. They are solid, heavy and have sturdy back panels. If considering an undermount sink with a solid wood worktop, I'd suggest ordering one of the standard base units (as opposed to a sink base unit), as the standard base unit is provided with a solid top with which to help support an undermount sink :-)

What I particularly liked about the Trend kitchens were the variety of design choices and finishes available. In the initial stages of planning the kitchen there were often changes required which meant picking a different colour and finish. The contrasting interiors are also stylish, as are the large variety of handle designs available including 'handleless' handles :-)

I did also contact the manufacturer directly to enquire about door designs prior to ordering the kitchen and they were helpful finalising my choice. The kitchen has been installed to a high standard, and overall it has a very good blend of traditional shaker style with a modern finish.

Had 2 door choices, Milano concrete slab and light grey Matt slab. The look of the handleless profile is great but within a few months the light grey doors have chipped and dinted all across the top. They are not tough enough to be kitchen cupboard doors and are a really poor quality. So disappointed as the other doors are tough with a hard wearing coating and look like they’ll last forever. Mereway kitchens are not interested whatsoever. They have dismissed my concerns as ‘impact damage’ and not acknowledged my further complaint. There was no apology over the problems we’ve encountered or any concern on their part. It’s a poor show from a company that aren’t even interested in how well their product performs. I’d never have bought this finish if I’d known or dealt with a company like this. Being told they supply to John Lewis was a false reassurance of quality…

Awful experience
They were supposed to deliver our kitchen on Monday.
Get a phone call at 12.45, "your kitchen will now be arriving on the 3rd August
They have cost us thousands of pounds-
we had a joiner waiting to install-
our old has been taken out
No aftersales care
We get a text message on Wednesday to tell us it is being delivered thursday.
But only parts of it???

The kitchen was £150000 - this how Mereway treat there customers
