Heinous
Heinous, ludicrous, and outlandish company who continues this facade of promoting new technology while every single product line has minimal useability. Drivers? Forget about it. Wifi and Bluetooth will be better off ran from a potato. Incredible that HP still uses them as an option. This product has left a melancholic stain on 80% of the clients I work with.
I know I never signed up for this
I know I never signed up for this. On top of that, they're using a card that I haven't used in several months to bill me. I'm not sure what information harvesting they did to get my info, but they are bottom-of-the-barrel fraudulent scum.
Affordable pricing
Mediatek offers fair pricing and some of my favorite movies that other services do not carry. It's a viable option to consider for those on a budget who want to stream movies, TV shows, and comedy specials. Happy Streaming!
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION. If you subscribe it will charge almost 40 dollars to your account. Now I'm afraid if I'm randomly gonna get charged and now I have to call them.
mediatek.me part of scam network?
mediatek.me seems to be part of a myriad of websites and I suspect it to be part of a scam network. If you are a victim of these sites, file a complaint or go to the police. On your Credit Card you will find a "descriptor" - please post it. If noone files complaints we can not stop it. Come on!

Sur votre carte de crédit, vous trouverez un "descripteur" - veuillez l'afficher. Si personne ne dépose de plainte, nous ne pourrons pas l'arrêter. Allez-y !
This company offers FREE video...
This company offers FREE video, books, etc....
The minute you give them Credit Card information, they do take a small amount on it...
But what they don't talk about on their Website is that, they will charge you 39,95 $ per month, after a 5 days trial.......
And you cannot cancel on line, you have to Call them....
So I did cancel my "prepaid" credit card, and I will get a new one within 5 days or so...
But cannot make any on line buying during that time...
So stay away from MEDIATEK or MEGAFESTIVITIES, possibly fraud............ 😡🤬
Scam
Scam, Fraud. Signed up for free trial, read if you do not cancel by the end of your free trial you will be billed 39.95 until you cancel. Cancelled it 5 minutes after signing up, go to check bank account, and pending charge for 39.95. Why is there a pending charge for free trial? They will not let you cancel your subscription yourself, you have to either call or chat with someone to cancel. Another red flag. Person that was cancelling my account lied up and down about billing, free trial, subscription, etc. Person also went as far as to tell me what my log in password was, another red flag. NO COMPANY WILL TELL YOU YOUR PASSWORD!!! SCAM, FRAUD!
FRAUD ALERT!!
It's a Scam..I had to cancel my card cuz you can't find a way to cancel..don't forget it..fraud!!
Definitely a scam locked my card after…
Definitely a scam locked my card after the login didn't work and found these reviews $39.95 out the window. Ordering new card.
Signed up for the free trial just to…
Signed up for the free trial just to show a certain movie to show my class that they stated they had and then when I went to search they didn't even have it. Froze my credit card and trying to dispute the charge and get a new card.
Embarrassingly illegal deceptive identity theft.
I expect they not only take your email and password to sell or use themselves, but they first claim its free to sign up. Then you have to give up ALL your personal details INCLUDING a credit card which at the bottom of the page in fine print it sayd it will not be charged. Check all your credit reports and get identity protection.
DON'T PUT YOUR INFORMATION IN
DON'T PUT YOUR INFORMATION IN ! They tell you you can live stream hockey games for free for a 5-day trial, but they ask your credit card information for after the 5 days. It didn't work so I looked how I could cancel my subscription, and it said you had to call or write to them. I wrote like 3 times, they didn't answer. IT'S A SCAM. Now it's been 4 days and I have a 56,56$ charge on my credit card receipt, I locked my card but I don't know if it will pass or not. I will call them tomorrow.
I signed up for the free 5 day trial…
I signed up for the free 5 day trial but, immediately saw a $1 charge on my bank acct/debit card. I watched some of the documentaries and was deciding whether it was a $40/month service I could afford. I WAS searching for streaming stuff. The immediate charge led me here to check it out. I called and cancelled. Now I have to see if they try to scam me. Call was answered right away and they seemed to do as I asked. In 4 days, we'll see. and I will update
I never signed up for this.
I never signed up for this.
I got an email that confirmed my "purchase," but I never signed up for it nor the free trial. I contacted them right away and let them know, and they replied that they will cancel the account. What's troubling is that many other people have had the same experience. I need to lock my credit. This seems like someone has access to my credentials. Be safe!
I never signed up with this company…
I never signed up with this company because I don't trust these types of sites but all of a sudden the charges started appearing, 39.95. Now I will have to get my credit card company to do what they can and most likely will have to wait 10 days for a new credit card. This is so dishonest and aggravating.
It is a scam
It is a scam. Claims to be free and charges your card from a random place.
Just go to the theater or wait
They pull you in with a promise to view a hot new movie for free. They SAY that your credit card will not be charged. There is a little box at the bottom that I unchecked to make sure I was not charged at all. Not only did the movie never play but, I was charged 39.95 for absolutely nothing. I immediately cancelled my credit card and Capital One did not let the payment process. Good thing I always check my app any time I enter my card information.
I never signed up for this service. Dishonest company.
I never signed up for this service but noticed a $39.95 charge on my credit card. I contacted the company who billed me, URCONS.CO, via chat, and asked what the charge was for. I was informed that it was for a subscription to mediatek.me. I told them I did not subscribe to that service and they agreed to cancel my subscription to avoid any future charges. I then went to the mediatek.me website and sent a message letting them know that I did not subscribe to their service and asked how they got my card info. I will update this review if/when I get a reply.
I never signed up for their services…
I never signed up for their services and I don't know how my info got used but the customer service was rude and apparently I've been getting charged for a year and never knew. Gave me log in info but didn't work. Very rudely said I signed up for it even going so far as to send an IP address that doesn't match any devices in my home plus screen shot of the sign up page with no info on it I guess just so I can see what it looks like. I told them obviously I didn't sign up for it or I could log in and I wouldn't be asking who or what they are!!! I will be disputing all charges at my bank for the past year and see what charges if any I can file. I knew something was off when I say the charge on my bank statement I always us PayPal to pay for everything on line and their charge was straight off my debit card
