I am writing to say my item arrived in record time and in mint condition from Japan to Tennessee, American companies' can learn a thing or two from this company! It was a pleasure dealing with them!Plus the item was reasonably priced too!

I've ordered 20+ times from meccha japan.
They have a wide collection and items are always in perfect condition. No complaints there.
But their shipping estimate system horrible and wildly inconsistent especially if you use DHL or FedEx.
There are so many more items I would buy if they provide a realistic shipping estimate for their products. Take the life-size porygon plush for example. They are charing JPY 159K for shipping which is not accurate for an item of its dimensions.
I've ordered very large life sized pokemon plush from both Ichiba Japan and Meccha Japan and have found Meccha japan to be charging very high shipping prices for the same shipping method.
Please try to repackage parcels more compactly and fix your shipping estimate

I would like to know why customer service always says "Please accept our apologies" delay in release dates, website error, inventory is showing incorrect numbers, shipping delays due to Christmas in April. If it is in stock on the website it should be shipped out with in 3-7 business days. As if emails or replies are generic. On my order # HFLYKCAQP which is still pending For the first time I command on the site

I had a very disappointing experience with Meccha-Japan. They charged me a 10% cancellation fee for a pre-ordered item that wasn’t even available yet. To make matters worse, the fee wasn’t based on the item price—it was calculated using shipping and tariff charges.

On top of that, they originally listed a “shipping and handling” charge, then later changed it to a “tariff” fee, which felt misleading. Their pricing is also inconsistent: the same item is listed multiple times at different prices, making it impossible to trust what you’re paying for.

Overall, there’s no stability or transparency in their policies or pricing. I cannot recommend this store.

However, after over a month, their customer service did follow up and issued a full refund for the entire amount. I appreciate that the issue was ultimately resolved, though the process was slower and more confusing than expected.

The first time I ordered on this site, I got one of the Sonic & Friends: Tails Plushies back in August and with some situations that occurred during that time, their support team was very helpful with sorting everything out and having my package arrive to me. I promise, this site is worth using and I will continue using this site to purchase products in Japan.

I ordered 6 pokemon plushies and everything was ok and perfect but I don't understand why I had to pay the courier 8€ even if I don't really know why. I already paid the spedition so what the 8€ are for I don't know if I had to say this here. But I think that someone has to be informed that you have to pay extra money to the courier even because it's the first time that this happens to me. I still put 5 stars because after all everything was okk

I preordered a $900+ worth of products 4 months in advance. On release day and for a few days after there was no shipping but I was told rest assured it will ship in 3-7 business days.

On business day 9, they reached out and said they couldn't fulfill the order and needed to cancel. When I went on their site, they relisted the product for more ($340 total to to 1350)

When I contacted them again, they just informed me that the the supplier they preordered my product from didn't have it so they they had to go with another supplier which cost them more and this was not mine but I could order at the new price.

I can understand if you are not able to get the product at all but cancelling while having the product in stock is frustrating especially since they kept my money for 4+ months. I would have expected them to let me know about the supplier issue earlier so I could preorder elsewhere or fulfill my order with the inventory in stock. I cannot get this product anymore but had i known earlier I would have been able to get it. I'm sure if the product price collapsed they'd have no problem fulfilling the order (and candidly I would take it as that's the risk of a preorder). Do not trust

I was initially nervous due to the amount of money involved and having never heard of the company before. I needn’t have worried: everything arrived very fast, in perfect condition, and without any issues. I would happily buy from them again, including preorders.

I placed an order with Meccha Japan and never received my product. Despite multiple attempts to contact their customer service, I never received a clear answer or resolution. This is unacceptable for a company that sells internationally.

I really wanted to trust Meccha Japan, but this experience has completely damaged my confidence in them. I would strongly caution others to think twice before ordering until they improve their communication and reliability.
