The plugs arrived in good condition and was very pleased to get a complimentary one. Unfortunately the packaging had disintegrated to a large degree, but luckily nothing had fallen out.

Ed's talk to our WI on wild flowering came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. He was clear, informative and entertaining. His commitment and enthusiasm for our natural flora was clear and his tales of plant hunting and plant sales humerous. We were also able to buy from a selection of quality plants he had brought from the nursery. Excellent talk so much so rebooked next year re butterflies and importance of wild flowering.

I will certainly use them again, when I need more plug plants for my wild flower meadow !

Ed gave great advice, even before we ordered any plants. The plants arrived promptly and were in great condition. We would definitely order more from Meadowmakers.

Edward Cook’s talk on native rewilding at the u3a Garden Group’s September meeting was a passionate and inspiring exploration of the importance of restoring native UK plant species to our landscapes. With infectious enthusiasm,
he highlighted how rewilding with indigenous flora—such as purple loosestrife, wild marjoram, and meadow cranesbill—not only enhances biodiversity
but also supports pollinators and native wildlife. His message resonated deeply with the group, sparking renewed interest in cultivating gardens that echo
the natural heritage of the British countryside.
So compelling was his presentation that I have already invited Edward back to speak next winter, this time on butterflies —a testament to the impact of his advocacy for ecological harmony.

Really good advice at a plant hunters fair’ large plugs of yellow rattle combined with grasses are now established and will hopefully help with our wild flower meadow

I was disappointed with the way they were packaged and although you told me what plant we had, you didn't say which was which.

really good communication. the seller included a couple of extras due to the plants being really small. but the quality was good and they are all happily growing in my meadow. Thankyou.

An excellent speaker, Ed Cook has been twice to our local, Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust group to give talks, one about Wildflowers and one about Butterflies and the plants they depend on. His topics couldn't be more important as our natural environment disappears under tarmac and many of us noticed a dramatic drop in butterfly numbers last year.
Ed is an engaging and knowledgeable speaker and on both occasions his talks were accompanied by beautiful photographs and he brought lots of excellent wildflower plants that people were soon queuing to buy. Mine were planted according to Ed's instructions and are doing extremely well. I heartily recommend Ed both for his plants, his talks - good for gardening, conservation, wildlife and general interest groups - and his friendly and efficient organisation. Both talks and plants are very reasonably priced. We learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thanks Ed!

Meadowmakers built us a wonderful wildlife pond. Ed was knowledgeable, creative and went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. The pond came in at a reasonable price and we would recommend Meadowmakers to anyone thinking of rewilding their garden.

The 3 Viper's Bugloss, the 2 Jacob's Ladders and the 2 Veronica spicata had the 6" rootballs. The 3 Agrimony came individually wrapped in wet newspaper to help keep the compost together because their rootball did not fill out the large plug size. These can't be planted straight out, but I don't mind as I don't yet have space in the garden for them. So the 3 Agrimony have been potted up and placed on windowsill to give them more time to grow. And, thanks for the free one.

Absolutely fantastic plants! First came across them at a plant fair and the man running it was so knowledgeable and helpful. Took a card and then ordered from them online. Delivered in great condition. Very pleased with everything. Will be ordering again as the slugs also very much like the plants 🤣🫣

Ed spent nine hours here digging a pond, lining it, planting and making good the site. He worked extremely hard and gave lots of really useful advice. For us, the whole experience was really pleasant since he had great interpersonal skills. Follow up sheet sent straight away by email. Really looking forward to watching our pond develop.
