MCS Absolutely Appalling (Not fit for Purpose)

The Company that Installed our Heat pump from Oswestry was MCS Approved!! MCS was absolutely useless. 1 of the 5 Noncompliances found by the NICEIC Inspector the most important no insulation through the exterior wall, never had to be rectified due to change of legislation at MCS (Rubbish)
The installation company was not registered to install a unvented cylinder.
They took unnecessary ordered goods from us (£££)and refused to return the funds.
In total the project cost nearly £20K after all the remedial works it never worked as promised and his refusal to return to correct his works and sent another contracting firm, the MCS gave him a slap on the wrist and let him get away with all he has done
The installation company is still MCS Approved.
The whole industry needs looking into !!

Our story of HeatPump Installation

After a very Messy and Costly Experience based on Genuine Experience at the time of Installation in November 22 and legal matters are ongoing in 2025.
In my photos you will see evidence from the NICEIC, Daikin, and a video of Daikin stating what the Company did wrong on the installation,The system was Rectified in 7/7/23 leaving us to correct the compliances certifications.
And potential receiving a 5K Fine from Shropshire Building Control

(Solicitors will take on your claim on a No Win No Fee basis)
Check the Qualifications of these company

Spent nearly 20k on the system and rectification
Quoted for ALL Daikin Equipment (Other goods Installed )😤
5 Non Compliances found (He Refused to Return)
Never Worked and (Refused to Return)
Daikin the Manufacturer returned on 7/7/23 (At our Cost)
At the time of Installation Air2Heat Ltd were never registered for commissioning a Unvented cylinder. we have the Full certificate from Daikin but this has been done in error (See Photo) from Daikin
If one thing we have learnt is if a Company has business premises they have made a financial commitment to the business.
Don’t be fooled by a fancy websites and company who works from a car, no work premises, no Responsibilities
The company Refused to apply for the Government Grant Retrospectively for our project leaving us out of pocket £7500.
This Company ordered unnecessary goods for our project, and refused to refund the monies investigation ongoing with the Police.
And the MCS did nothing but play hot potato
Good Luck
