Online Ordering and stock levels

Items out of stock messages a few days after ordering. This has happened to me on a few occasions now and just again to my wife who ordered from you last week and I can see from other reviews, other people have the same issue.

Understand that issues do occur, but difficult to understand with current stock control systems how it's this bad.

Trouble is also, that the refund takes a long time to go back to you account and you need to keep checking it to ensure you got it.

Sorry, but it's a bit of a messy process to be honest and it ends up wasting peoples time.

Refused to honor Discount

I have been buying dog food from Maxi Zoo online for years! On 2nd October, I received a promotional email from them offering a 15% discount that day only! I needed dog food so ordered some and used the discount code! On 6th October, they cancelled my order saying that the dog food was out of stock with no restock date! I went straight onto their website and it was clearly available and in stock!

I emailed them and got a generic reply! When I emailed them again to point out how rubbish their response was, they took another two days and sent me another generic reply!

I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on!

Bad experience

I've used this groomer before and was always pleased. The groomer was lovely and chatty and interested in the dog and his needs. I left him there last week and after a dispute with a different groomer who was very opinionated i left having giving the groomer my instructions.
When i brought the dog home having paid 65 euros for the groom I saw that my poor little dog had cuts and scratches all over his hind legs and was in pain. We are using a antiseptic cream to soothe him and hopefully we won't need a vet visit.
I won't be returning to Maxi Zoo again as I would be afraid to leave my dog in their care.

First time customer

Ordered online for the first time as thought my order was coming from Ireland in hope of fast delivery- it actually comes from Europe. I ordered on Sunday and it said 1-3 days delivery. My status never changed until day 4 where it said shipped and then I got my DPD notice about an hour ahead of delivery that day. So I got my order on day 4, very happy with dog food and great price! Communication could be better. I rang the Cork phone number provided for customer services (between 12 and 4pm) and got no answer. I filled in an online form on day 3 and also got no reply.
Overall, great goods, will order from them again.

Don't bother with them

Once again, delivery times appalling and running out of their own stock so my online order was amended and delayed. The ONLY reason I ordered from maxizoo is that I assumed it was a quicker delivery time, I needed my items asap, I was thinking maybe a timeframe of maybe a day or 2, 3 at most for delivery. Over a week later the shipment arrived and short of what was ordered. I can order pet supplies from Germany and it's a 3/5 day delivery time, I can order from another Irish pet company and it's a next day delivery guaranteed and yet maxizoo can't get it together to have a reasonable timeframe...their online store is a joke and when orders are placed you can't be guaranteed if you'll get them due to their inconsistent stock numbers... Don't order from them, they're an absolute joke of a company.

My cat's addicted to a Maxizoo treat

My cat loves the snack cream treats only Maxizoo seem to sell. I'm not sharing the name because I'm pretty sure every cat will get addicted to them. I recently lost my first furbaby to cancer and my other cat went off all the food they used to like even though they were frenemies she still missed her when she was gone. I've been trying different kibble and wet food and treats for months and Maxizoo have been so flexible if I need to exchange or get a refund for the foods she eats once then doesn't touch it again. I'm also disabled and chronically ill and cannot get to my local store sometimes when her favourite treats run out luckily they have such a fast delivery. I ordered Saturday and it was delivered today which was amazing and stopped me from feeling guilty because I couldn't get up to the shop myself. Their Customer Service is prompt by email and I always end up having a chat with the friendly staff in store too. Cannot thank you enough for all the help recently.

This is for maxi zoo tallaght
Staff are nice and friendly but tasks come before customers.
Please teach them customer service rules. Customers come first and if a big Que forms call for colleagues to help. Some customers are in rush due to school collections and many other reasons.
I just had a flight with another customer in there while i was buying cat foods coz i asked the staff to get his colleague to help, nicely.

Good service...too.much packaging

I have ordered twice in the last 10 days or so and was totally happy with the service and the items I ordered (female dog nappies and compostable poop bags). However, I was stunned at the amount of packaging used for very small items. 2 tiny packs of poop bags were in a large cardboard box with tons of craft paper. A totally unnecessary use of resources when a small packet type envelope would have done the job. Maxizoo really needs to be thinking and packing more sustainably.

Really disappointing customer service

Really disappointing customer service. On the 11th of August I bought renal cat food for my cat in Longford on my way to Sligo where my cat is. About a week later my dad informed that my cat did not like the wet food but liked the dry food. He asked me if I would try and exchange the food the next time I came home (I live in Kildare) I went home about 2 weeks ago and on my way back to Kildare I stopped in Longford to ask if I could exchange the wet food (canned) for dry food. The staff in store didn’t want to deal with me as they wanted to lock up and said I would need to contact their head office and find my receipt even though the member of staff had remembered me who was standing next to the woman who was telling me what to do. A few days later I tried ringing their main office but there was no answer. I have had a busy week since and today I rang their office again and spoke to a gentleman that said he could not facilitate an exchange even though I had proof of purchase as it was over a month. He also wished me “good luck” at the end of the call which I thought was a bit smart. Really annoyed as I have often bought from this store.

Total rip off and no customer help .Revived my order this morning ,this is…

Revived my order this morning ,this is my first time ordering from maxi zoo online .the poop scoop was broke when I opened it .i don’t mind it been broken but when I tried to contact someone to return it I couldn’t so I rang a maxi shop and she said they have nothing to do with that side and gave me a miner to ring and no one answered me .wont be ordering again lesson learned even if i could drop it to a shop and get a new one i would of been happy to no the girl said i cant.
