I cannot recommend enough, from getting the quote to picking my belongings up Max and Bessie were thoughtful and understanding in all my dealings with them. The collection from Ebbsfleet was done quickly and efficiently. My possessions were then held as I was to be included in a part load to Scotland and 2 weeks after pick-up my furniture was dropped off to me again quickly and efficiently despite the rain! The guys did a fabulous job. Thanks to all involved.

We used Matthew James to move from Germany to the UK. Our move manager Chris was very organised, helpful and kind. On the removal day the team led by Nickolay were brilliant. They arrived on time and the removal lorry was spotless. They were efficient, very careful with our furniture etc and extremely nice. Unprofessional - bad experience overall
EDIT : The company has reached to me by email after I posted my review to 'reconsider removing [my] online review entirely'.
I stand by everything written below and have solid proof that there is no misleading or false information.
Below written on 17/10/2025 :
If you wish to use MJR's services for a shared load, read this before proceeding.
They are not transparent on many aspects.
I requested a quotation in August for a specific volume. A month later I contacted them to say I'd like to proceed. After being called by MJR, for whatever reason, they decided to increase my volume. The final price went up £200 vs the initial quotation - remember, we're talking about small volumes.
As I didn't need that increased volume, I kindly requested to decrease it a little to reduce the final price by... £23... They rejected.
No flexibility + vague answers by email.
For the collection of goods, they gave me a collection date window of 3 days, which isn't ideal but I understand that for shared loads, there needs to be some flexibility. MJR said I would get a notice 1 day prior to the collection... I was called in the morning at 8AM for a collection at noon - I had to make last minute arrangements to be there for collection : simply terrible when the customer works full time.
They require flexibility from customers but don't provide any on their side.
The worst part follows :
MJR collected my goods on a Monday, and they arrived in MJR's facilities in the destination country at the beginning of the following week.
I called MJR for an update and said they planned to deliver my goods the following week - why wait ?
MJR 'offers' 2 weeks of 'free storage' and beyond that, they charge storage on a WEEKLY rate - even though THEY store YOUR goods a few DAYS over the 2 weeks free storage.
MJR charge for this even though it's a result of their poor logistics planning and that it's totally independent from the customer's will.
In case MJR doesn't know : customers want their goods ASAP.
Claiming you don't benefit from storing goods isn't a good excuse when you actually CHARGE for that storage.
Not to say that charging for storage in that case would be considered UNFAIR under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 - totally illegal.
During the whole process, I had to ask questions to which I got vague or differing answers by email.
It was simply draining to do business with MJR.
Basic things that are not explicit prior to paying :
- Delivery times
- Flexibility requirements of shared loads
- Paperwork needed for customs
- Storage policies
- Possible additional fees.
The lack of transparency from MJR makes them seem like crooks.
During the whole process, I thought the final price would keep increasing until I had received my goods.
On another note, the employees for collection and delivery were very professional and efficient.
The goods were in the same condition as when they were collected.
I'd still recommend to wrap your stuff well as some of the goods arrived with slightly damaged packaging.

We provided you with two separate guide prices. These were explicitly labelled as guides only. Please refer to the attached Quotes 2 and 3.
• Quote 2 was based on initial, incomplete information, with all address fields marked as 'Address TBC.'
• Quote 3 was generated after our detailed discussion, incorporating the full, confirmed collection and delivery addresses and an updated list of your items. The difference in these documents reflects the necessary adjustment based on finalized details.
Shared Load Service Terms
We understand you work full-time, and we value your time. Respectfully, as a business operating a specialized service, we also work diligently to manage complex logistics. You opted for our shared load service, and the terms of this service were made clear, explicitly requiring flexibility regarding collection and delivery times and dates.
While we did take your desired time slots into consideration and worked to accommodate them, we cannot and do not provide an absolute commitment on specific times and dates under the shared load agreement.
Service Completion Timeline
Your goods were collected and returned to our UK depot on October 4th as part of the shared load service. Your UK delivery, also booked under the shared load service remit, was completed on October 13th.
Please review the attached accepted quotation. The terms outlining the shared load service are clearly defined and accepted by you.
Legal and Contractual Obligations
You have raised comments citing the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and stating that MJGR is "totally illegal." We must state that we do not agree with your assertion of contractual negligence.
We urge you to kindly review your accepted quote to clearly define the services MJGR was contractually obliged to perform. We assert that MJGR has completed all accepted services within our contractual obligation.
