Completely satisfied! Great product.

I really like my new forge. Right off of the bat you notice it is well built , really overbuilt, but that is a good thing. It also has TWO INCHES of insulation with rigidizer applied and cured. THAT IS THE PROPER WAY TO INSULATE A FORGE. Most of the lower cost forges you see will have one inch and no rigidizer which is not good. I got this mainly to use as a welding forge and it gets up to heat easily and gives a good even heat across the piece. I love the firebrick doors. I have broken $200 worth of firebrick trying to close off parts of my other forge so I can weld but no more. Yes, I could have built it for a little less but not by much if you count time and materials, plus I am not patient enough to wait for the curing times. Great forge and it’s worth spending the money...

The problem I had is: There business phone doesn't have voice mail and they didn't answer there e-mails. So there is no way to contact them. They say call or e-mail if you have questions, which will not work!!!!
I ordered a propane burner and it did arrived and functions very well in my forge. I saw the burner used in You Tube and that is why I brought it.

Love the forge, it does everything I ask it to do. The only thing I have issue with is the customer service. had a hard verifying shipment and when it was going to be shipped

Good product, worked as advertised once I finally got the item. Multiple calls and e-mails and texts after I put in my order and waiting for 2 weeks for delivery. Turns out he hadn't shipped it yet. Was apologetic and waived the shipping charges. Although, now I have a question on the installation and again, can't get through to anyone.
Very poor customer service. I have called the number listed on website and paperwork that came with the product, no one answers. Can't leave VM b/c user hasn't setup VM on the line. I will buy from a real company next time.

I should have done my research first because this appears to be a trend I ordered my forge on 8/27 a Tues expecting it to ship that Friday as the website said. My first red flag was that besides an order confirmation number I didn't receive anything from the manufacturer. Friday rolls around and i never got an e mail or anything about shipping so i emailed and called them myself the answering machine says specially not to leave a message but to text so that's what i did..... no response until 9/1 I recieved an email that said "you're order will ship Tuesday" that's it end of email. Wasnt really impressed but I get it it's a holiday weekend so I figured ok Tuesday that means it'll be here Wednesday as I live maybe 4 hours from the manufacturer. Tuesday rolls around and they email me that it's been shipped at like 8:34 so im like cool it's on its way.... nope Wednesday 5pm rolls around and im waiting for the ups man pacing like a rabid dog wondering where my forge is because id really like to get back to work as this is a replacement for my old now out of commission forge and I get an email from UPS saying the package was finally shipped at 4:52 so theres another day waiting with basically no communication. Sooooo the forge arrived and after an hour and a half of using it my attitude has changed considerably. The packaging was solid and completely intact but it did only travel a couple hours it was very thoroughly packed with thick cardboard and a plywood base under the forge. The setup was a cakewalk it took maybe 5 min I've still got a little tweaking to do with my burner adjustment but it already works fantastic. I did use firebrick too make doors front and rear to seal in heat as is recommended. The first heat the forge got up to glowing orange in about 15 min and to test it I threw a cold railroad spike in it and it was glowing in 10 min and this was with the forge at half throttle. The construction looks great this things built like a tank and so far im very happy with the forge my only complaints are the communication and the kaowool lining doesn't seem to be rigidized like the website said it was all things considered im very happy with the forge though and will likely do business with them in the future but may drive down there to just pick my next forge up.

I ordered my forge on the 8/6/19 was told it would ship 13th. Got an email saying it shipped on the 14th. On the 20th I asked about tracking info because I haven't received it yet. Was told on 21st that it was being shipped that day. Now it's estimated to be delivered 27th. Almost 1month after being ordered and PAID for I will get it. And hope to God it's in one piece. I understand things happens but communication is key in any business. I most likely will not be doing business with them again.

I bought the burner kit. It arrived in a timely manner an they responded to my emails quickly when I had questions! Haven’t got to try out the burner yet but it looks awesome! Great business!

So far, so good. Only had it a day and haven't had a chance to use it yet. Heated a bar of 1/2 inch mild up to temp fast and easy

Took a while for it to ship, but it was a busy time, and when I emailed to enquire about a time frame I recieved a quick response, within a few hours with an update and a time frame on when to expect it. Package arrived intact and damage free. Only suggestion would be instructions that included visuals. Otherwise extremely happy with service and experience and cant wait to start using my new forge.
Is definitely one of the better priced, ready to use forges that I have found and it is definitely well built.
If and when I upgrade to a larger forge I will definitely be returning to Mathewson Metals.

I would love to give them a higher rating, and most likely will when we get our forge, but it has been 16 days and counting and still no forge. Additionally they need a contact phone number if they are going to sell such expensive products.
