Outstanding customer service!
My initial review is below, however this company dealt with my complaint so well that it is now a 5 star review! Jo has been a superstar! How customer service should be done!
Shocking service. Ordered 3 gravel boards its been over a week and still nowhere to be seen. Order number 1922-64. Live chat is useless and emails go unanswered. Now dont know if the items are coming or have been cancelled and im out of pocket for a service that was terrible.

My 3rd time of using them for DIY…
My 3rd time of using them for DIY projects. Just really easy, and very good prices. Stuff turns up on the right day. My only issue is not knowing when (in the day) but that can be unreliable even when dealing with a local supplier.

Excellent customer service from Olga.
I did experience some issues with my order, including missing and incorrect items, which was stressful while trying to complete a building project. However, Olga was outstanding throughout the whole process. She was professional, friendly, proactive, and kept me updated until everything was fully resolved.
Problems can happen with any supplier, but what matters is how they are handled. Thanks to Olga's dedication and excellent customer service, all issues were sorted, and I would happily order from Materials Market again.

Excellent overall experience. I did make a small request for a change which was never responded to and would have been nice if someone had looked into it.

We had our doubts at first, purely because we’d never heard of Materials Market before, but we decided to give them a try.
Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. Communication was fantastic, the website made it easy to place the order, and the prices were the best we could find.
Our only slight criticism would be the delivery time, as it took just over a week, so it may not be the best option if you need materials urgently. That said, everything arrived as expected and we’d happily use Materials Market again.

This is a 3rd party not dealing directly with suppliers. They do not make this clear on the site. Once I'd made an order took them 2 days to find a supplier and the delivery date changed by a week . This was no good to me . Nightmare to get hold of to cancel and had to wait on a refund 😒

I was very sorry to hear about your experience and I fully understand your frustration that your order took longer than expected to be matched to a supplier, resulting in a change to the delivery date, and that you then found it difficult to contact us to cancel your order and obtain a refund. As a marketplace, Materials Market works directly with a nationwide network of suppliers to source and fulfil orders, rather than holding stock ourselves. However, this should not affect the level of service you receive, and I apologise that we fell short here.
I really appreciate you taking the time to speak to me, and apologise that we did not contact you directly in the first instance to see if a change to delivery date was suitable. This should be standard procedure and I want to reassure you that this has now been fed back to the team, to avoid situations such as this arising in the future. Customers should always be given the option to say whether they want to proceed when there are changes to their order or delivery, and should not have to spend time then chasing us for a resolution.

Easy to order.
Very easy to order materials for me,I'm hopeless with technology,also I was concerned about it might be a scam type service but couldn't be further from that, excellent service.i was kept in touch of all deliveries from start to finish.i am a retired plasterer so know what's good and bad materials having worked on sites all my career,all plywood, insulation boards, timber and screws were good.no complaints.will definitely use Material Market again.
