My matchmaker is Theresa Brown. Theresa has been extremely helpful and supportive. As someone new to matchmaking I am fortunate to have Theresa as my matchmaker. She does a great job of providing positive feedback and suggestions on how to improve. I would be lost without someone like Theresa.

What a journey full of ups and downs. I'm not going to lie, this started VERY rough for me. I had been single for a long time, and the dating apps were laughing in my face. My friend signed me up, saying, "What can it hurt?" I received the phone call and tried to ask about pricing, but they wouldn't talk about it; they wanted to meet in person. I said I didn't want to waste anyone's time if it was not feasible, but they still wouldn't tell me anything.
So, I went to the local office (the worst part of the whole process). The conversation started well; she got me to open up and said all the right things. Then we get to the money, and whoa! I was shocked. I didn't expect it to be cheap, but still! This is where our 2-3 hour appointment took a turn. I was unsure about the money, and she started giving me "deals", "deals she doesn't make with anyone", "the best possible deal she can give me because she wants this for me". I told her I needed some time to think things over. She told me that if I left, the deals were off the table, and I had to sign right then. She started throwing personal things I mentioned back in my face about why I was single and would always be single if I didn't make this investment in myself. After feeling like this was my only option to ever find my "happily ever after", I signed, paid, and left in tears. (Suggestion for the company: don't have us fill out a survey or feedback form for this process in the office. I couldn't give my honest feedback because I was literally handing it back to the person who made me miserable.)
With that said, the best thing she did for me and the best part of the experience was my coaching with Shallyce. I honestly don't think I would have made it through this process without her. As a person, I have come a LONG way since my first conversation with Shallyce. I may have done the work, but dang it, she pushed me and stuck by me when I had doubts. She was definitely the bright spot in what was sometimes a dark process.
The matchmaker process itself, I had a love/hate relationship with. My first match was very quick, and after meeting, I felt they matched me with someone just to get the first one done. I don't think we had one thing in common. I had another match where my date said to me, "I don't know why they matched us". Which was true; he was a real piece of work. As I was coming down to my last couple of matches, I felt very defeated by the process. I had asked for a break from matches as I needed time to get excited about the process again. Then I received the phone call. There was a match that both my matchmaker, Amy, and my coach, Shallyce, thought would be a great match for me. I agreed, and I am so glad I did. I believe that I finally found my person. I am currently in a happy hold and am very happy!
While I wish the beginning of the process had been different, I am so glad I stuck with it because it led me to my person. I truly believe this is my happily ever after.

I signed up for this matchmaking service in October 2025 and, since then, have had only one date. No other suitable matches have been provided.
At the initial consultation, the company created a profile outlining my clearly stated, non-negotiable preferences, including religion, level of education, and compatible interests. However, the few introductions that were presented did not meet these basic criteria. Some individuals had different religious beliefs, others did not match the specified education level, and overall compatibility in interests was lacking. These introductions cannot reasonably be considered appropriate matches.
This suggests that the company did not have an adequate pool of candidates who matched my profile and age range, yet they proceeded to enroll me and accept a significant payment for the service.
Taking a substantial amount of money from a senior citizen while selling the promise of compatible matches that the company is unable to deliver raises serious concerns about exploitation and potential elder abuse.
In my opinion, this reflects a deeply misleading and exploitative business practice. They deliberately mislead clients and operate unethically and dishonestly, assuming that once a contract is signed, it gives them the right to take payment without delivering the promised services. The company’s responses to reviews appear to be automated and repeatedly reference vague “next steps,” yet those steps are never clearly defined. At this point, the only meaningful next steps would be either providing a genuinely compatible match that meets the stated criteria or issuing a refund.

What is not explained to you when you sign the contract is that you cannot make any changes once you sign, i.e. age. Your deal breakers are the only thing they use in matching you. I dId'nt need to pay $3,000 to find a short bald man, plenty of them out there on the dating sites. I am so disappointed in their service!

Initially, very nice and positive. Finally an introduction that went Ok and a subsequent hiking trip and dinner that was also OK. However, she was a snowbird and lives in another State most of the time and would be leaving soon. She was difficult to communicate with due to a hearing disability.
Zero contact with matchmaker Audrianna for 3 weeks after numerous calls/texts.

I’m very satisfied with my matchmaker couch, Theresa Brown. She has been kind and thorough throughout this process. She has listened attentively to my likes and dislikes, hopes and desires for my next partner. Most of all she has been patient with me. She is actually very much like the kind of woman I have been searching for. Unfortunately she is much too young for me, and married already I believe.🤣🤣.

I cannot recommend Shallyce enough! Since working with her late last year, she has completely transformed the way I approach dating and relationships. Her guidance has been integral to my journey of tapping into my feminine energy, dating with intention, and truly understanding my worth.

Terrible experience, I had three matchmakers and none of them followed my guidelines. They tried to match me with any male with a pulse. It has been a waste of time and money.
When I repeatedly explained my criteria they tried to change my mind and kept telling me, “ hes not a perfect match, but hes really nice”
One matchmaker even tried to date one of the matches she sent me out on a date with.
I tried to keep an open mind but this was a really bad experience. I don’t know what was worst the guy that coujdbt stand up straight or look me in the eye or the guy that wouldn’t drive his car snd wanted to meet at a bus station.

Very weird company, it seems they are only interested in American Old Men, and working for them. Really dated logic. Hmm questionable quality of database.

Shallyce had a lot of great advice and resources to draw from she helped me re enter the dating sene after my divorce.

I’ve had a very positive experience with the matchmaking service. I was introduced to two women who were both kind, age-appropriate, and shared many common interests and values with me. It was clear that real thought and care went into selecting compatible matches.

While the first introduction was a lovely person, I sensed she may not have been fully ready to begin dating again — which can happen — but I still appreciated the quality of the match.

The second introduction, Diane, has been a particularly strong match. From our first meeting, conversation flowed easily, and we discovered many shared interests and life experiences. She is someone I could see as a lifelong friend, and possibly much more. We are continuing to get to know each other, and I’m hopeful about where this may lead.

Overall, I feel the company truly listened to what I was looking for and delivered thoughtful, compatible introductions. I would absolutely recommend the service to others who are serious about finding a meaningful relationship.

This experience wants me to be left alone, You make me understand how bad relationships can be by setting me up with women who are my polar opposite in moral values. I keep trying but what that ! None of these matches are anything like me. Don't share my values. Your matches are the biggest disappointment in my life and have only created emotional pain. I don't have any confidence you have the slightest idea of a MATCH for me. This service? Has only created heart ache. I hope you are HAPPY!!!!
There are two things perfectly clear to me. First there are very few actual people to match with and second you have no idea who I am and the what the others want in a match. All four of my matches where miss-represented by your so-called Matchmaker. I had to find this out on my own. When something didn't sound right to me the Matchmaker tried to convince me otherwise. What I found out is my matches where polar opposites, morally.
I just read the response to my feedback. It felt totally AI generated and completely insincere. Reading your response made me understand how little my feedback to you actually means. Nothing I seem to tell you out my matchmaker seems to care. I have two more and I'm out of this for the rest of my life. You taught me that dating is bad, relationships are worse I don't want to suffer through another bad relationship because you can only give me those types of relationship. I TELL you one thing, you don't listen, you can only deliver the opposite of what I tell you and then you just argue with me. Don't give me my current matchmaker Adriana I can't take her any more, pass her on to someone else.
I've contacted your service today. I have 2 more matches left in my contract. I was told I can only work with Adriana, so I have to say no way, I don't want to argue with your matchmaker. She has miss represented everyone she has set me up with. You don't have anyone in your program who is even remotely a "Match" for me. I was told much different at the intake process. Shame on me for believing.

EDIT: The day after the company posted their response, I did get a call from my matchmaker. We talked for 20 minutes about everything in my review. I feel she was deeply honest with everything. I was honest as well. I think we came to an understanding of each other PoV. We came up with a plan to move forward. It's worth the time and investment. The responses to people's reviews are actually sincere. If there is a mistake they do try and fix them.

I went into the interview and had a lovely conversation. I was sold. I was told there would be plenty of people with my preferences. I was told, given how well our initial conversation went, I'd be matched in no time.

I had a few introductions. After talking to the introductions, I found I was not what they were asking for. It appears my matchmaker trying to match me correctly. I also I feel she's just trying to get me through my introductions. Not to help me find someone to spend the rest of my life with. It was insinuated I'm not that open minded. I asked what makes my preferences "not open minded" and there really wasn't a good response.

Why do I feel this way? My matchmaker told me the process is to check in with me every couple weeks. That happened maybe twice. I feel like I'm being generous by saying twice. Other than that, I've had to text to check in each time. I most recently checked-in, after 5 weeks. If there's no one available, that's fine....I guess. The question you should ask yourself is whether they care to help you find love or fulfill an non-refundable contract.

As a guy, I feel if you're religious, you may not have much of an issue. If you are not religious you may have a difficult time.

A decent amount of money is being dropped here. I figured the experience would be so much better than being on the apps. At this point in my journey, it's only slightly better. I still have a number of introductions left. I feel like I may expand my search super broad just to get through them since I can't get my money back.

I requested cancellation under the relocation clause of my contract, and the company ultimately processed it after a very prolonged review process.

What became clear is that the full contract price had been allocated as a “Program Initiation Fee,” with no separate allocation tied to the introductions included in the program.

Because of this structure, the majority of the fee was retained on the basis that onboarding and initiation services had already been performed, even though zero actual introductions occurred.

This allocation model significantly limits the practical refund available under the contract’s refund provisions. While it may be contractually permissible, the implications are not necessarily clear when you’re signing the paperwork.

Before enrolling, I would strongly recommend reviewing how fees are categorized and how that impacts refund scenarios. Understanding what portion of your payment is considered “earned” simply upon enrollment (regardless of any introductions) is essential.

Contracts are not just about services promised, but about how fees are allocated. Taking the time to fully understand that structure is important for informed trust. After all, trust matters when you're looking for love ...

I learned this the hard way, and I hope this helps someone else pause and read carefully before agreeing to work with this company. Do not allow yourself to be rushed (like I did) because your appointment time is up.

Irene and her team at the Match Making Company are amazing. I just started this program just a few months ago and a few connections later I’ve meet this amazing individual. One thing I’d like to say is, the more you take this program seriously, the more successful you’ll be. I was very adamant leaving feedback for all of my connections, in great detail. The more information your team has to go off of, in my opinion, the greater chances of success. I just want to thank the team who helped me through this process again and I’m excited for what the future brings.

FRAUD!!!! Do not use this company.
After a VERY, VERY disturbing first date and LAST, and after MULTIPLE attempts to reach my “matchmaker” SHANNON, it took my assigned “matchmaker” five days for me calling calling to get in touch with her. She then scheduled an appointment to discuss and I have NEVER heard from her even after she NO SHOWED on our SCHEDULED appointment with me. When I finally connected with an assistant manager and explained what happened, I was told he didn’t believe their male client would behave that way. I was not only ignored, but completely dismissed.

This situation was handled in an extremely unprofessional manner. While the company claims they “don’t do refunds,” there also appears to be no accountability when a client has a genuinely upsetting experience.

To put this in perspective: while on the date, a busboy at the restaurant actually asked me if I was okay when I went to the bathroom. If a stranger can recognize something is wrong, it’s alarming that the company I paid could not—or would not.

They state that each male goes through a background check. That might be true, but if you feel unsafe, objectified or harassed during a date from one of THEIR clients , they will dismiss you and just tell you it’s not their problem and to just try again. And, of course, after the company ignores your phone calls, emails and texts and completely LIES to you about what they verbally promise.

The overwhelming “ick” I felt after the date was made significantly worse by how little concern or seriousness this company showed afterward. If you’re comfortable paying to feel objectified and dismissed, this may be the service for you. Otherwise, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I’ve asked for a full refund and they have denied it with zero care of my experience.

The responses from owner are dishonest! They only want your money !
