Only one year warranty to organinal Samsung LED Evo? Funny joke

Bought 6 inch inline fan and filter. First few days it was good.. Then the fan stopped working. I figured out it was the knob controller even though I only had it on 1/3 of capacity the whole time as the fan is so loud I can hear it all over my house!! Company got back to me straight away and told me to send proof of purchase and a video of the problem. I did this sraight away. Its now over a month. In the meantime, i took the controller apart and the circuit board was burnt out.. A potential fire hazard?? They are the worst company I've ever dealt with!! They sent me an email asking if my address was correct which I told them it was. Then they said they sent it already and didn't give me a tracking number.
BUT 9 days later I get another email saying my post code is not correct so they can't send it until I give them the postcode... even though they already had it otherwise how could they possibly have sent my order in the first place???
I could write pages about how incompetent they are but I don't want to get any more stressed than I already am. For such a large company you would think they might get one good customer service person in each country. I will never buy from them again.. BEWARE!!

Purchased a Mars hydro two bucket DWC system..
Air pump went bad reached out to customer service wasn't expecting much but after prompt communication and sending a short video, I thought I might be just getting a new pump but they replaced the whole system. Definitely more than I was expecting. Replacement system was at my house within a few days
The process was easy customer service was friendly, prompt with responding and understanding..
They truly do stand by their product

I recently ordered a new humidifier from mars hydro. They're website CLEARLY states that my order would be shipped on the 28th of march. I emailed them to double check that my order would definitely be shipped on the 28th of March and was told this:
"To clarify, the pre-order information on our website accurately states that we are committed to shipping your order by March 28th.
This date is in line with our initial estimate and is not a misrepresentation of our capabilities."

On the 28th of March I had still not received any updates or a shipping confirmation, so i emailed them again and was met with an email saying that they are closed for the weekend. So, not only is there website providing completely false information, but their staff also blatantly lied to me about being "commited to shipping my order by the 28th of march" when they knew fully well that they wouldn't even be open on that day. So mars hydro, you were NOT committed to shipping my order by the 28th of march and the information on your website IS a misrepresentation of your capabilities. An accurate representation would be to say "we will take your money and lie to you about delivery dates". I've been a mars hydro customer for years and I've supported your company since you were founded in 2009, but this will be the last purchase I ever make with you. I have opened a paypal pursuit so hopefully i will be one of the lucky few that actually get their money back from these brazen con artists. Avoid this absolute joke of a company like the plague.

MARS-HYDRO IS AN EXCELLENT COMPANY WITH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ORDERED 2 OF THE EVO-6500 SAMSUNG 750 WATTS LED LIGHTS. EXCELLENT LIGHTS WITH GREAT RUSULTS. MUCH BETTER RESULTS THAN CALIFORNIA WORKS LED LIGHTS.

Tent has plenty microholes, the iConnect controller doesn't work and my plants didn't survive it. Support doesn't react. Keep away.

I ordered an iConnectu bluetooth dongle which was DOA. After 1 week of sending emails to marshydroau.com I am yet to get a reply.
Shitty customer service!!!!!!!

These lights are poorly constructed and they have no features. The wavelengths of light used are the right spectrums but there is no good way to hang the lights. Not worth the money. I will not purchase anything else from this firm. I advise consumers to avoid this company. Not American made. Do not buy.

I had a problem with a mars hydro TSL 2000 that I purchased almost 2 years ago. I contacted mars hydro for help trouble shooting. I got a super fast response and help troubleshooting for free. Even though my light was past its 1 year warranty they sent me a brand new driver for FREE!!! I just paid for shipping!!!! Like I said lights have been running for 2 years and counting. Ppfd matches their par map and I’ll be upgrading to the FC 4800 soon. Bang for your buck matters and they delivered for me.

I've had a few issues with mars hydro there products seem okay but there Customer service is absolutely horrible and there website appears to have miss information first i brought a tent Grow kit and payed for it then got told after that I needed to pay a additional $50 for delivery

Then recently I brought another product that came with a free pressure sprayer I've been emailing to ask where it is to be told it was a system bug and I don't get one

Been nearly 2 weeks since ordering my package …messaged them multiple times not one reply feel like I’ve been robbed of £100 worst customer service I’ve had

I can only speak from my experience as i have only got some lights... but wow do they make a difference... somewhat spendy but with most electronics you get what you pay for... the simple fact of how adjustable the fc6500 series is makes it easy to regulate light distribution to target areas and no need to worry about the tent over heating because you get plenty of cord to keep the power supply out of the tent!!! Super light so anyone can hang them solo. Great lights highly recommend.... 4 or 5 years old going strong... always had a dimmer issue tho

Stole $185 from me. I bought a 4x2 deluxe grow tent with bluetooth controller and a 5L Humidifier as one purchase and I bought a "43 controller" and a par meter for an additional $185 on the same ticket. They shipped the tent and heavy (probably 35 kilos) 47"x26"x12" box with the bluetooth controller and the 5L Humidifier taped to the big tent box because they want to cheat the shipping company. The package arrives in good condition to be shipped directly from China to California and trucked across the USA to the East-Coast, but there was no 43 controller or par meter included. I contacted the company and instead of replacing the item they basically insinuated I was lying. Customer service is a joke, these people are dishonest and if they cheat the shipping company, and they stole from me, they will do the same to you. I have tried for a week now to resolve this issue but instead of making good on a damaged or missing item and shipping one out to me they instead refuse. I will tell you this for certain, if you buy anything from mars hydro and you are lucky enough to actually get it delivered you better hope you never have a problem with it. These people don't care about customers, standing behind their product, or even trying to become a respectable company. Take my advice, buy Gorilla Tent, Vivosun, AC Infinity or
Spider Farmer. These companies care about their customers and do not try to steal from them like mars hydro does. This was my 2nd and 3rd purchase from this company, but mars hydro will never get the opportunity to steal from me again.

*UPDATE* Mars Hydro lied (are you surprised?) They have never tried to satisfy the customer. They tape 5 boxes together to cheat the shipping company so they will rip you off too. And then lie on here to make you think they are trying to resolve the issue. I know now that if the mars hydro equipment I own ever breaks during the "warranty period" to throw it away and buy something else from a better company. Both mars hydro lights I currently use, a 325w, and a 300w both run hot even at 50% power and a fan blowing on them. Heat is a byproduct of inefficiency and I wouldn't doubt it if these lights were built with fake Chinese counterfeit Samsung diodes. They run considerably hotter than led lights by Spider Farmer. They even run hotter than my Vipar 425w and this light is a lot more powerful. No mars hydro is lying, they have made no attempt at all to either ship a 43 controller and par meter to me, or to return the money I paid for it.

*UPDATE FEB 15, 2025:*
Mars hydro never tried to contact me, or correct this issue. Fortunately I used my credit card through PayPal so after contacting them I was able to get the money back mars hydro tried to steal from me. And on top of that the 6" oscillating fan quit oscillating. It still blows air but no longer moves side to side. I suspect the light has fake, counterfeit Chinese made Samsung diodes too because the heat generated by this light and driver will burn blisters on you if you brush against it. Worst company I have ever dealt with and that says an awful lot about this awful company. The "reply" to my complaint was "we will let the appropriate department know". This is a "canned" response to every single complaint and means nothing. I only used the fan for 3 weeks before it broke, but I won't even bother dealing with a warranty claim for 2 reasons. 1. Their customer service is the worst in the business, and 2. If the fan were replaced it would be the same flimsy, worthless junk. Their prices are cheap and you get what you pay for. As this mars hydro junk wears out it will be replaced by SpiderFarmer, Vivosun, or AC Infinity. I have an AC Infinity oscillating fan I've used for more than 3 years without a problem. Mars hydro made it 3 weeks. Bad product & bad customer service = a company to stay far, far away from.

I purchased 2 fc-4800 in 2022, since then i have had 10 origainal light bars failed of 12, 1 here and 1 there since my first use. Mars hydro has warrantied 9 of them, but at a $15 apiece shipping charge and a 2 month delivery from china. The replacments haven't had a failure yet. I believe mars hydro was aware of a faulty product since my first claim and being aware, they should of done full warranty replacements, seeing none of the replacements has failed, mars was aware of the correct fix, instead i was milked along, now another original light bar has failed, now I'm informed by mars hydro them light bars are discontinued but i can purchase 2 new complete lamps for a discounted price. In 2 1/2 years i haven't got thru a grow. 😡

Take ur money then say sold out everyone stay away fraud

I purchased my first grow light from Mars Hydro a few weeks ago. About 30 minutes ago, I received an email from my credit card company warning me that the virtual card that I created for mars-hydro.com was used to make an online purchase at kohls.com. The card was declined. I called my credit card company and made them aware of the attemped fraud. I also called the contact number for Mars Hydro but it went straight to a very generic sounding voice mail.

These types of virtual card numbers are created at the time of purchase by the cc company and never stored outside the company servers.

Here is the email.
"Your Kohl's purchase was declined because you used a virtual card number you created for mars-hydro.com. Each virtual card number is designed to work with only one merchant."

Update:
My credit card company has informed me that another attempted charge, this time to Etsy.com, was just made using the same virtual card created for mars-hydro.com about 3 hours after the first one.

Iv been growing for 25 years,mostly out doors. I recently purchased the Fc6500 with the adlite. Shopping day after day for the right light for my needs and budget, thanks to mars hydro I was able to do so I also purchased the controller 43 and the hub now able to set individual times for each light the uv is awesome when used right major trychomes and terps.

The Mars hydro SP150 is definitely one of the best LED lights if you are on a tight budget or are just starting out and don't want to spend a lot of money before gaining experience 🫶👍

I would just like to share my experience that i had with Mars Hydro, when i ordered last month first i went to order a 5x5 grow tent floor tray, i added it to my cart and ordered it nothing went through. tried again still nothing. then i read on the website to use pay pal if the order didn't go through so i did and the order went through two weeks go by and the order still says processing. so i wrote them and asked when my order would go out they said sorry we didn't see your transaction, but we do now and your order will go out in a few days. which it did and i got my order. now this morning my bank calls with fraud alerts and said somebody tried making 4 transactions with my debit card, the bank blocked all 4 the info the hacker used was my info on mars hydro. remember i used paypal for my payment. but i tried buying directly from their website first two times and it didn't go through.. well a hacker is stealing card info on their website so watch out just warning everybody. if you tried ordering without paypal on their site recently a hacker might have your info also he waited a month before he tried using my card info.
