My experience with Marpu Foundation has been positive. The team genuinely cares about the cause, and their work feels purposeful rather than performative. You can tell they’re driven by impact, not just optics.

That said, there are moments where communication and organization could be better. Some updates come late, and response times can vary. It feels like a growing organization still figuring things out.

Overall, I’d recommend Marpu Foundation if you value intention and real effort over perfection. Solid work, good heart and pure intentions.

Marpu foundation is an NGO which focuses on Economic Development, Environmental Sustainability and Social Development. Working with them as a content writer intern has not only helped me to gain valuable experience, but also made me feel like a part of their mission, developing our people from every aspect and by bringing joy to every community.
Their work environment is also very good they assign tasks for their internship which are very simple, convenient and manageable to complete, with a clear 24-hour deadline for completion.

I tried to donate used clothes to Marpu Foundation but was told they don’t accept second-hand clothing , no clear notice on their website, no signs at the drop-off point, nothing beforehand. Left my time and effort feeling misled and frustrated.

If you’re planning to support with usable clothes, think twice , their policy isn’t obvious, and volunteers weren’t helpful. Disappointed with how this was handled.

Interning at Marpu Foundation is a great learning experience. The organization is providing a exposure to real community work and social initiatives. The mentors are approachable and encouraging, which is making the learning process smooth. This internship is helping me to connect theoretical knowledge with practical field experience. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such impactful social work.
