Top company, I would say the best.
Excellent choices, great quality food. Really good customer service. Brilliant presentation food. I like everything about it. I have tried 3 different company's and in my opinion this rates the best. I order nearly every week. It's a real treat. Thank you very much.

Switched to Marley Spoon
I used to use another recipe kit retailer but promptly switched to Marley Spoon after discovering them at a foodie event. The overall experience is so much better: each meal comes in a neat, individual bag; sophisticated recipes; speedy responses to enquiries; no missing ingredients; and free trial boxes for friends and family. They seem to put a lot of effort into improving their offer, from better pricing to more flexible deliveries. They also have a very easy to use app with future menus visible many weeks ahead, making it much easier to plan.
So I now mainly use Marley Spoon and have ditched the Jamie Oliver endorsed service. The other well known brand is a close second, but would highly recommend Marley.
My fave recipe box company so far
*meals are very tasty and very straight forward
* The quality of produce is always great many times meat has been free range
* The individual bags is so much easier to just put in the fridge saving 10+ minutes. With similar companies everything is in one box which means I have to sort it into what item goes with which meal so it's all together
*Only negative is sometimes I'm not keen on the recipes which means I end up skipping that week
Eciting recipes
The recipes are clear to follow and use exciting ingredients that I will not have previously used. Love it.
veggie quality could be better
Quality of veg and herbs not the freshest, so one ends up scrambling to cook the dish with least fresh ingredients first. Bottom line, unless you cook all 3 dishes on the same day - by the end of the week you'll definitely end up with limp, yellow, lacklustre veggies and herbs, and moulding buns

Interesting recipes and good quality ingredients
The big appeal of Marley Spoon for me, is coming home on a Friday to a box of fresh ingredients and interesting recipes which allow me to start the weekend without a trip to the supermarket. Quite a few of the herbs and sauces would not normally be available so I am able to try dishes which are a bit different. The quality of the ingredients is excellent and I like being able to edit my boxes the week ahead of delivery. Stopping and starting deliveries while away from home when required, is better than other companies who offer less flexible options.
Recipe Review
Every recipe that I've received from Marley Spoon is "on point".
When thinking of eating out versus having friends over - ordering a delivery from Marley Spoon has become our FIRST choice.
tasty very very tasty
I love my meal boxes - they save me having to make meal decision every which can be a laborious task try to think what the rest of the family want to eat. They also save me money as I have everything I need so I don't add things to my trolley I don't really need. I have not had meal yet that hasn't tasted good or not gone as the recipes says - I have to make some adjustments as my son has coeliacs disease so I replace the gluten items for his meal but because everything is freash these are only small adjustments like pasta noodles bread and some of the sauces.
I have been using another firm for two days (a very largely published firm with certain celebrity chef attach to the company ) there customer service is very poor and the boxes in my opinion are not as good.
I have had to deal with marley spoons customer service and they could not of been more attentive . I would recommend marley spoon to anyone - thank you for making my life easier and getting the family to try new things - one happy customer
Great food!
Deliveries were as expected, always different meal ideas with plenty of variety. We needed to add more vegetables to many of the dishes to ensure we hit our nutritional needs as well delivering the simplicity, practicality and time saving benefits of each box.
Better than all the rest!!
Love the individually bag meals, good instructions no second guess! Well done!
Good, tasty food with minimal hassle
Good recipes which are easy to follow. Delivery and packaging is good. Ingredients on the whole are excellent. Had the odd dodgy piece of veg but otherwise excellent overall
a good idea and good food.
Packaging still not always foolproof. Sometimes wrong things have gone in wrong bags, once an ingredient was missing. Sometimes food has oozed or been squashed. Otherwise Great!
Good but not brilliant
Lovely fresh food at first but now ingredients don't last as long and this week I received the incorrect ingredients. Time to cance I think
Well put together, has certainly worked as promised.
The packaging, ingredients and recipe layouts that are delivered to your door are first rate. 4 meals using fresh produce for £34 and every ingredient you need is supplied, right down to 5g of tomato paste if the recipe calls for it. Try doing that at the supermarket.
Tasty recipes and high quality produce
I've tried Marley Spoon several times and have always been really impressed with their recipes. Everything I've tried, from more traditional Fish Pie to exotic Pakistani Chicken Curry, has been easy to execute and tasted great! What's more, the produce is all really high quality and they work with some nice brands like Yeo Valley, The Fresh Pasta Company, Devon Rose etc.
I've enjoyed cooking with Marley Spoon on nights when I crave a proper meal and want to cook, but don't want to trail round the shops or plan too far in advance.
Great concept, badly executed
Many companies offer food boxes on a subscription basis, and the idea is brilliant - it helps busy people eat healthy, learn to cook and save time on shopping. However, Marleyspoon are the most expensive on the market, and in no way superior than others - just the opposite. The poorest part of their offer is customer service, arrogant, inflexible, with unapproachable staff and one of those 3rd party out-of-hours call centres that pick up the phone only to tell you to send an email (which won't get answered to within 24 hours anyway). Given the number of competitors who are cheaper, better, friendly and a pleasure to deal with, I wouldn't recommend Marleyspoon to anyone. They also take advantage of the subscription small print - while others tend to send users reminders to ensure that only required products are delivered, Marleyspoon will deliver a box you forgot to cancel within their 4-days' notice, with no prior communications.
