York MBE on Micklegate - 5 minute break becomes 15 minutes
On 22.10.25 I needed a document binding; I had a meeting to attend and it was urgent. At 10.50am I went to MBE in York; there was a chain on the door keeping it closed and a note on the door read 'back in 5 minutes'. By 11.00, there were two others waiting; a taxi man and a young woman.
At 11.05 the co-franchisee appeared from the back and opened the door. At no point did the man apologise for taking 15 minutes rather than 5 minutes. As I was in a rush, I was eager to resolve the matter and said I wanted a document bound.
The co-franchisee did take umbridge for I reminded him that he had taken 15 minutes and not 5 minutes. Often, customers who attend MBE or other places, do so for a particular purpose, reason and are often busy.
This co-franchisee had, after I reminded him that he had taken 15 and not 5 minutes, asked me to leave. It's more likely that the co-franchisee (who described himself as a 'co-owner') was pleased to have an audience. I left, and went to another provider.
This co-franchisee had taken 15 minutes and not 5 minutes; why lie?!
I was going to enquire about other services, yet he lost out
